One Piece: Wielder of the Void

Chapter 197: 197. Nothing

----

While the crowd sighed collectively, their eyes remained fixed on the battle unfolding before them.

Fujitora, the Marine Admiral, truly lived up to his title. His strength was enough to instil pride in the world of pirates and Marines alike. In this world, those stronger than him could likely be counted on one hand.

His Gravity Blade: Fierce Tiger attack was far from an ordinary swordsman's strike. Instead, he wielded his cane sword as a medium to unleash his Devil Fruit abilities.

Anos, observing from the sidelines, could discern the potential of Fujitora's Gravity-Gravity Fruit (Zushi Zushi no Mi).

If fully mastered, it could easily rank among the most powerful Paramecia-type Devil Fruits.

While it might lack the versatility of certain spatial powers, its devastating effects could reshape the entire world.

That is if one could awaken such an ability.

At this moment, Abona was completely subdued by the overwhelming force of gravity.

This pressure not only distorted the surrounding space but also left him immobilized and pinned to the ground.

Despite the crushing weight, he struggled to maintain his dignity as a swordsman. After four long years of silence, his latent potential was once again ignited.

However, the power gap was undeniable. This was a battle of complete domination.

Meanwhile, Daiki, who had initially seemed cautious and restrained, found an opening amidst Fujitora's attack.

Yet, the next moment he realized just how gravely mistaken he was.

"Gravity-Meteor..."

Fujitora had already sensed Daiki's movements. Despite Daiki's best efforts, Fujitora's battle-hardened instincts made it impossible to exploit any weakness.

With unparalleled composure, the Admiral unleashed his next move. To the onlookers, the gesture seemed simple almost casual. But Daiki stood frozen, his gaze fixed upward, unable to act.

The spectators followed Daiki's line of sight and erupted in panic.

"Meteorites..."

A collective gasp echoed across the crowd as several massive meteorites plummeted from the sky, heading straight toward the battlefield.

This attack shattered their understanding of combat. The ability to summon celestial objects to strike was beyond anything they had ever imagined.

As the meteorites hurtled toward Skypiea, Fujitora momentarily released the gravity pinning Abona to the ground. The battle was effectively over.

The appearance of the meteorites alone was proof of Fujitora's overwhelming power and his ability to command absolute fear.

Even the most defiant individuals found themselves trembling. Daiki and Abona were no exceptions, their legs buckling under the weight of the moment.

"You really know how to stir up trouble," Anos remarked dryly, his tone carrying a mix of frustration and awe.

As the meteorites descended, Anos dismissed the spatial barrier protecting the area. To him, the falling meteorites posed little threat. But if they struck Skypiea, they could easily obliterate the island.

Panic spread among the island's residents. Helplessness and despair filled their eyes.

This was no ordinary attack it was akin to a natural disaster. In any world, such devastation was insurmountable for ordinary people.

Still, the meteorites required nearly 30 seconds to strike. Despite their destructive potential, the prolonged charge time left room for countermeasures by those capable enough.

Anos acted decisively, raising his right hand. A swirling blue-black vortex appeared in his palm.

Just as the meteorites were about to collide, the vortex expanded, enveloping the sky.

In a mere second or two, the vortex dissipated, and the meteorites vanished without a trace.

Abona and Daiki, familiar with Anos' power, remained unfazed. But the tens of thousands of Marines and soldiers surrounding the battlefield were left stunned.

Their jaws dropped, and their eyes bulged in disbelief at the scene before them.

"General Fujitora, that was quite the display," Anos said with a faint smile as he stepped forward.

Fujitora chuckled. "I must admit, I had hoped His Majesty the King would step in. I lack the ability to halt my own attack."

Anos, however, saw through the bluff. Fujitora's Gravity-Gravity Fruit could just as easily stop the meteorites as summon them.

But instead of calling him out, Anos responded lightly, "Your demonstration was truly enlightening, Admiral. It has given everyone much to reflect upon."

Fujitora nodded knowingly, his usual calm demeanour intact. The battle was over, but its impact lingered a testament to the immense power wielded by those standing at the pinnacle of the world.
