Chapter 8: CHAPTER 8: FIRST DAY AT SHIMOTSUKI VILLAGE
(New Month New Chapter){ENJOY}
After moving all the girls back to the Pirates ship. LEX took them and the defeated pirates back to the marine base after planing to meet with Saga at Logue Town in 3 years.
Then Prime, Saga, the bandaged Zoro and Diana went back to the small boat and sailed to SHIMOTSUKI VILLAGE ISLAND.
when they dorked at the island they agreed to go went straight to the dojo and tell their Sensei what happened today.
After reaching the dojo the met with the Sensei, they explained what happened to "Shimotsuki Koushirou-Sensei and got to know what they could do at this situation.
After learning what went down Koushirou-Sensei couldn't help but be impressed after all this young boys took down a group of pirate, 'Even if they got help from a marine they seem to have defeated most of the Pirates from the way this girl is saying it's' Koushirou thought while giving Diana another look.
What happened to Diana was tragic and he could understand that after all when he lost his daughter he felt a lot of pain, now see this young girl and learning her parents were dead he felt very sad for her, she even got captured by pirates she must be strong willed to endure everything without giving up.
"Well since you have nowhere to stay you could live here for now I got a free room you could use" He offered Diana But she seems very hesitant about it.
But he could understand as she was not familiar with Him she wouldn't just agree to live with him. Then Prime told her she could stay in his house for now because he can see she's very uncomfortable and is not familiar with the village.
Which made Diana happy as she felt very safe with Prime ever since he saved her life back in the boat.
Then Saga took the bandaged Zoro home because of his injuries... Well and so he wouldn't get lost with his sense of direction, even with Zoro's crazy vitality if he stresses his wounds too much it could get bad.
Well Zoro was carried by Saga, while Prime and Diana walked and have some light conversation as they go, when they got to Prime's home.
Prime lead her inside the house then shows her to the bathroom and bedroom she would be sleeping tonight.
Then Prime went to his own room and took his bath and got ready to sleep, when he was about to get some sleep he heard a knock on his room door he got up from bed, opened the door and saw Diana who said shy and nervous as she said "Sorry to disturb you but I couldn't get any sleep and I'm a little terrified being alone in that room, so can I sleep over in your room with you?"
"What are you saying I don't find that appropriate after all you are a woman and I'm a man sleep together won't be alright" Prime said like he isn't 13 years old.
"Please I can't sleep on that room alone I can sleep on the floor if you want just don't send me to that room alone please" Diana said pleading.
"Okay fine come sleep on the bed it's big enough for the 2 of us to sleep in" Prime said as he let her sleep with him for today.
So he started wondering if she was 14 because they way she acts it's like she's years younger than him (well mentally his older) then he remembered that her parents just died and then she got captured by pirates and is now in a unfamiliar environment it's much to take in.
He needs to take care of her now after all she would be his doctor in 3 years when he set sail, After saying goodnight they went to sleep.
The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting soft beams across the room. Prime stirred awake first, blinking against the light. His gaze fell on Diana, her face serene in sleep, framed by dark brown hair that cascaded over the pillow.
She looked so peaceful, so beautiful.
He chuckled softly, shaking his head.
"Gal Gadot, huh?" he mused quietly, she looks a lot like Gal Gadot she should have talent for acting.
He shrugged off the thought, rising from the bed with careful movements, trying not to disturb her slumber.
The floorboards creaked beneath his feet as he slipped into his routine. He stepped outside, inhaling the fresh morning air, invigorated by the scent of salt and grass.
"Gotta keep fit," he muttered to himself, a smirk playing on his lips.
Just as he began his stretches, he heard a rustle from inside. Diana's head popped up, her eyes squinting against the bright light.
"Morning!" she said, her voice still thick with sleep.
"Morning," he replied, a bit sheepishly. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."
She rubbed her eyes and smiled, a little shyly. "It's okay. I just… I'm not used to this, you know? I usually wake up before everyone else."
Prime felt a pang of guilt. "You should rest more. You've been through a lot."
Diana nodded, her smile fading slightly. "I'll be fine. I'll just take a quick bath and then make breakfast for you."
"Whoa, wait," he said, raising his hands in mock surrender. "You don't have to cook for me. I can handle my own breakfast."
"But I want to!" she insisted, her voice firm, but her eyes twinkled. "I owe you for taking me in."
"Alright, if you insist," he chuckled, waving her off and returning to his exercises.
After a quick shower, he dressed and headed to the kitchen. The smell of something delicious wafted through the air.
"Wow, what are you making?" he asked, stepping into the kitchen.
"Just some eggs and rice," Diana replied, her brow furrowed in concentration.
"Smells amazing," he said, leaning against the doorframe, watching her work. "You're a natural."
Diana turned, a slight blush creeping onto her cheeks. "Thanks. I guess I learned a thing or two from my mom."
Prime's heart twisted at the mention of her parents. "She'd be proud of you," he said gently. "You're strong, Diana."
"Thanks," she murmured, her smile returning, even if it was a bit shy.
They finished breakfast together, the meal punctuated by laughter and light teasing. Diana's laughter was infectious, and soon Prime found himself chuckling at her attempts to mimic his morning routine, complete with exaggerated stretches and grunts.
Afterward, he took her on a tour of Shimotsuki Village, pointing out various landmarks—the dojo, the market square, and the glistening coastline.
"Wow, it's beautiful here," she said, her eyes sparkling as they strolled hand in hand.
"It gets even better at sunset," Prime said, glancing sideways at her. "You'll love it."
Diana looked up at him, her expression serious. "Do you really think I can fit in here? With the dojo and everything?"
"Absolutely," he replied confidently. "You're a fighter at heart. And Sensei Koushirou will whip you into shape."
Diana chuckled, shaking her head. "I don't doubt that."
They eventually arrived at the dojo, where the familiar sounds of clashing swords and shouts echoed.
"Come on, let's go introduce you," Prime said, leading her inside.
As they stepped through the door, the atmosphere shifted. Children sparred under the watchful eye of Shimotsuki Koushirou, his presence both commanding and calm.
"Sensei!" Prime called out, catching Koushirou's attention.
"Ah, Prime! And Diana how are you feeling today young lady?" Koushirou's eyes twinkled with warmth.
Diana's eyes glistened, but she held her chin high. "I'm doing good today Thank you, Sensei. I want to learn how to fight."
"Good," Koushirou said, nodding approvingly. "You'll find strength here, among friends."
"I'd like to start right away!" Diana declared, determination shining in her eyes.
"Excellent! Join the others," Koushirou instructed, gesturing to a group of children practicing stances.
As Diana moved away, Prime felt a swell of pride. She was finding her footing, and that made him feel hopeful for her future.
"Prime!" Zoro's voice boomed from the back of the dojo. He was without his bandages, looking surprisingly spry. "You're late!"
"Just showing Diana around," Prime replied, 'what a monster his already healed true the night'. "How's the 'vitality monster' doing today?"
Zoro grinned, cracking his knuckles. "Better than ever. Ready for a real challenge?"
Saga stepped forward, his long sword slung casually over his shoulder. "Are we sparring? Because I'm ready to wipe the floor with you both."
"Bring it on!" Prime laughed, stepping onto the training mat.
The trio squared off, their movements fluid and dynamic. Each clash of swords rang out, punctuated by shouts and laughter as they pushed each other to their limits.
"Hey, Zoro!" Prime yelled, dodging a swing. "I hope You don't think I would go easy on you just because you're healing, are you? I hope you don't go easy on me!"
"Not a chance!" Zoro retorted, a wild grin on his face.
Saga lunged forward, catching Prime off guard.
"Whoa!" Prime exclaimed, barely managing to sidestep.
"Keep your guard up!" Zoro shouted, swinging his sword.
The training session was intense, filled with grunts of effort and laughter as they sparred. Sweat glistened on their skin, and the dojo echoed with the sounds of friendship and rivalry.
After a particularly fierce exchange, they took a break, panting and leaning against the walls.
"Man, you guys are brutal!" Prime gasped, wiping his brow.
Zoro shrugged, a smirk on his face. "You wanted a challenge."
Saga snickered, tossing a towel at Prime. "I like that we push each other to the limit!, If you don't keep up when Diana joins us She'll kick your butt."
"Hey, let's not get ahead of ourselves," Prime chuckled, taking a sip of water. "She's still learning."
Diana emerged from her practice session, her hair slightly disheveled and a broad smile on her face. "That was so much fun!"
"See?" Prime said, grinning at her enthusiasm. "Told you it'd be great."
Koushirou approached, his expression proud. "You did well, Diana. With practice, you'll become a formidable fighter."
"Thank you, Sensei!" she beamed, her confidence growing.
Prime watched her, a satisfied feeling swelling in his chest. She was beginning to find her place, and it brought him joy to see her flourish.
As the sun began to dip low in the sky, casting a golden hue across the dojo, Prime turned to his friends. "We should celebrate Diana's first day with some food. How about it?"
"Count me in!" Zoro said, his eyes lighting up at the mention of food.
"Me too!" Saga added, grinning.
"Alright, let's head to the market!" Prime declared, leading the way out of the dojo.
As they walked through the village, laughter and chatter filled the air. Diana's laughter was a melody that brightened Prime's heart, and he couldn't help but feel that this new chapter in her life was just beginning.
At the market, they sampled various dishes—fried dumplings, sweet pastries, and fresh fruit. Diana's eyes sparkled with delight as she tried everything, her laughter echoing against the vibrant stalls.
"This is amazing!" she exclaimed, her cheeks stuffed with rice balls.
"Just wait until you try the grilled fish," Zoro said, pushing through the crowd. "Best in the East Blue."
"Is that a challenge?" Prime asked, feigning seriousness.
"Only if you think you can handle it," Zoro shot back, smirking.
Diana giggled, the sound light and carefree.
As they settled down on a bench to eat, Prime glanced around, taking in the scene.
Villagers bustled about, children played, and the sun cast a warm glow over the day.
"Isn't this nice?" he said, looking at Diana.
She nodded, her eyes shining. "It feels… like home."
And in that moment, Prime realized how far they had all come. She's no longer just survivors; she's part of their family, one laugh and one challenge at a time.
"Here's to new beginnings!" Saga raised his drink, and the others joined in, laughter ringing out across the market.
"New beginnings!" they echoed, voices mingling with the sounds of the bustling village.
The stakes were high, but together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead. With newfound strength and friendships, they would carve their own path, and Prime was determined to protect this family he was helping to build.
As Diana leaned closer, her laughter blending with theirs, he found himself smiling wider than ever. He had a feeling that their adventures were only just beginning.
After all there's more to come.
