Chapter 26: Chapter-26: The Storm Awakens
Although I was chatting with Sakazuki a long time ago.
From the meaning of his words, we can guess that the justice that Sakazuki insists on is not as simple as it seems.
I didn't expect it to be so simple!
The air was quiet for a moment.
Magellan's slightly hoarse voice sounded.
"Is it this far?"
Magellan did not ask the question openly or foolishly.
Although this is his territory, he was not sure if the World Government had installed any secret surveillance devices. After all, Impel Down houses many pirates that the World Government is deeply interested in.
Sakazuki didn't reply. He just stared into Magellan's eyes with a calm gaze.
But Magellan seemed to see a blazing fire in those calm eyes.
"Okay! Isn't that what I liked about you from the beginning?"
Magellan calmed down a little.
Sakazuki heard what he wanted. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly.
"By the way, Hannyabal, Domino, and Little Sadie?"
Magellan understood the meaning of Sakazuki's words instantly.
"Don't worry! They are all the old backbones of Impel Down, and they are very reliable!"
Hannyabal, now promoted to director, was originally a power-hungry and lustful man. But when real danger comes, he can still be relied on. Even though he withstood Luffy's violent attacks, he still remained unyielding, swearing to fight for justice to the end.
Hearing Magellan's affirmative answer, Sakazuki nodded.
"Okay! Seeing that you're okay, I should leave. There are still a lot of things waiting for me to deal with at Marine Headquarters!"
"I'll escort you. Actually, it's not that serious. It just looks scary."
Sakazuki did not refuse Magellan's kindness. Accompanied by him, they headed to the exit together.
When entering the elevator to the prison on the upper level, Sakazuki suddenly thought of something.
Magellan asked:
"I remember it was mentioned in your previous report that Straw Hat Luffy escaped with the help of a pirate who could imitate your appearance when he was causing trouble in Impel Down?"
Magellan wondered why Sakazuki remembered this detail. Although it was quite embarrassing at the time, he explained in detail:
"Yes! That's a human-male pirate who ate the Imitation Fruit, named Bon Clay. He stopped me from chasing Straw Hat Luffy before, but I defeated him with a Poison Dragon move. I thought he was dead, but in the end, he came back to life for unknown reasons and is now locked up in LV2 Wild Beast Hell."
He is indeed Straw Hat Luffy's best friend. His vitality is as tenacious as Luffy's.
Speaking of which, Magellan's move - Poison Dragon - was inspired by Sakazuki's Magma Dragon. It's just that Sakazuki took the terrifying explosive power of a volcanic eruption to the extreme, while Magellan focused on the concentration and lethality of his venom.
But both techniques are amazingly powerful. Didn't you see that Blackbeard was nearly killed in the early stages? Shiryu, the former warden of Impel Down, was imprisoned before and is probably no match for Magellan.
And the little pirate Bon Clay was actually able to survive this move. It's truly a miracle, like the belief of the human-monster country he represents.
"Take me to see him."
Bon Clay was still asleep when they arrived. Magellan instructed the jailer to shout, "Wake up!"
"What's wrong? Is dinner ready?" Bon Clay asked sleepily.
Sakazuki glanced at Bon Clay, who looked like a ballerina.
"Let him show off his ability."
Magellan immediately ordered the jailer to remove the seastone handcuffs from Bon Clay's hands.
Bon Clay was then asked to demonstrate his powers, but he seemed uncooperative and indifferent.
"Pirate, do you want to try my venom?" Magellan's venom began to drip onto the ground.
"Magellan, don't even think about threatening me! My new ladyboy self is not afraid of death!" Bon Clay snorted, showing his bravery.
Sakazuki stopped Magellan, gesturing for him to stand down.
"I heard that your most admired idol is Ivankov, the Queen of Kamabakka kingdom?"
"You should know that Ivankov has joined the Revolutionary Army, right? If Marine wants to attack the Revolutionary Army, do you think they will find Ivankov's home base—the Kamabakka Kingdom?"
"Do you want to see your idol's home destroyed?"
Hearing how much Sakazuki knew, Bon Clay became agitated.
"How dare you Marines attack ordinary civilians?" he retorted.
Sakazuki sneered. "A kingdom that colludes with the Revolutionary Army is not an ordinary kingdom! You should know the World Government's attitude towards the Revolutionary Army!"
Bon Clay, who values love and justice, could only submit. He spun around in a circle and immediately transformed into Magellan.
"How about it?"
Magellan's voice came from the cage. Sakazuki glanced at the real Magellan beside him and then at the imitation in the cage. He frowned.
Although the face, body, and voice were identical, the imitation lacked authenticity. Those familiar with Magellan could tell something was off.
It seems Bon Clay still needs practice.
"I'm taking this person away!" Sakazuki declared. "Magellan, please handle the aftermath. Bon Clay no longer exists in the world!"
Magellan nodded, understanding. The man who would become Fleet Admiral was not someone ordinary people could easily predict.
...
On a warship heading back to Marine Headquarters from Impel Down, news of silvers Rayleigh's defeat began spreading across the sea.
"Silvers Rayleigh, the second-in-command of Roger's crew, was defeated by Marine Fleet Admiral Sakazuki!"
The news spread through the Sabaody Archipelago early in the morning.
"Is it true?" some older people questioned.
After all, Rayleigh was a legendary figure.
"It's true! My uncle's cousin's nephew's best friend is a major at the Sabaody Islands Marine Base, and he was there!"
"I heard he died horribly—his whole body was burned by magma. Nothing was left!"
"Wow! The new Fleet Admiral, Sakazuki, is too powerful!"
"If you ask me, it's a good thing! The Marines should eliminate all the pirates from the old era to protect the next generation. Sakazuki did a great job!"
The world was in shock.
Silvers Rayleigh—Roger's first mate—dead?
But most people supported Sakazuki's actions.
The pirates, however, were terrified. First, Whitebeard, then Rayleigh. Sakazuki had taken down two of the most iconic figures from the old generation. Pirates who had been preparing for the New World began to lose hope.
...
In an unknown sea area, Shanks, the captain of the Red-Haired Pirates, stared at the newspaper in his hand with a dark expression. The rest of the crew stood silently, sensing the tension.
Even Luffy, usually carefree, noticed something was wrong.
"Did Uncle Rayleigh really get defeated by that annoying lava guy?" Luffy asked.
No one paid attention to Luffy's question. The crew's eyes were fixed on Shanks.
"Are you going to retrieve Mr. Rayleigh's body?" Beckman asked, trying to read Shanks's mind.
Hearing Beckman's question, Shanks snapped back to reality. His eyes blazed with anger as his conqueror
Beckman saw that Shanks had been staring at Rayleigh's photo in the newspaper.
Start using your smart brain and make suggestions.
Shanks heard Beckman's words.
Shanks finally recovered from the shock and sadness.
The world's strongest Conqueror's Haki surges out.
Cracks began to appear on the Red Force's deck.
Shanks was seen twisting the newspaper in his hand into.
He Slowly raised his head, forcibly suppressing the sadness in my heart.
His eyes were filled with unprecedented anger!
