ONE PIECE: THE GREAT VOYAGE

Chapter 8: CHAPTER 8

Then came the second.

And the third.

One after another, figures collapsed, overwhelmed by the sheer force of an indomitable will.

Those who remained were half-kneeling, panting heavily. Their faces blurred with exhaustion, instincts screaming at them to flee.

Yet, the fire in their hearts refused to be extinguished.

They resisted the overwhelming force of Conqueror's Haki with sheer willpower.

Caesar, standing amidst the chaos, clenched his jaw. His eyes burned with unwavering resolve as he gritted his teeth and forced himself to remain conscious.

As he steadied his breath, his gaze swept across his companions. Some still stood, barely holding on. Others had already succumbed.

A cold look flashed across his face. His pupils shrank.

Then, his own Haki erupted.

A tremor rippled through the air, an invisible force akin to a flying slash surged forward.

The two Haki auras collided mid-air.

And in an instant—

The heavens and the earth changed color.

The shockwave burst outward, shaking the island to its core.

A formless force turned pitch-black, streaked with flashes of red lightning.

At the epicenter of the collision, the very air trembled, vibrating violently before expanding in all directions.

The entire island quaked as though an earthquake had struck.

The sea, just beyond the shoreline, frothed violently, waves surging in all directions as if a tsunami was about to erupt.

Above, the clouds were torn apart.

The sheer terror of the spectacle made it feel as though hell itself had descended upon the battlefield.

Dust and debris filled the air.

And then—

The underlings of the Rocks Pirates screamed.

Eyes bulging, they tumbled helplessly.

Some were flung into the sea.

Others crashed into the hulls of nearby ships.

Even Whitebeard, standing firm, furrowed his brows.

The sheer force of the Haki was suffocating.

From afar, the entire island seemed to be engulfed in an oppressive force.

Rocks D. Xebec narrowed his eyes.

A low, disdainful scoff escaped his lips—

"Hmm…"

Then—

With a roar that shook the world itself, his Conqueror's Haki surged again, exploding with even greater intensity.

Caesar did not falter. He clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white.

His eyes burned with an unyielding fire.

He would not be crushed.

Above the island, a swirling mass of blue energy erupted, colliding with the crackling red-black aura in a violent spectacle.

Lightning arced through the sky, hissing and snapping like a thunderstorm given form.

Golden Lion Shiki gritted his teeth, veins bulging at his temples as he fought to keep his footing.

His boots scraped against the earth, dragging twin trenches into the ground.

"This kid… how is he this strong?"

Charlotte Linlin's sharp eyes gleamed with intrigue.

Her massive form swayed slightly, caught in the raging winds.

Placing a hand before her, she studied Caesar with an expression of disbelief.

"This brat… quite unexpected."

Clang!

Whitebeard unstrapped his naginata from his back and stabbed it into the ground.

The pressure was suffocating. Even he had to brace himself.

"This is real power…"

He muttered under his breath, lips curling into a grin.

"No wonder Rocks wanted him aboard."

A shadow of admiration flickered in his gaze.

"His Haki… his ambition… it's nearly on par with Rocks himself."

Kaido, meanwhile, barely managed to steady himself.

But compared to the others—

He had already been pushed back.

His massive frame had slid several meters across the battlefield, his boots digging furrows into the earth.

His thick brows furrowed, his teeth clenched so hard it was as if he could crush stone.

His arrogance—shattered.

His disbelief—unraveling.

"This guy…"

He growled, fists trembling.

This man, thin and unassuming, possessed monstrous strength.

Chapter 10: Suppression—A Clash with Kaido?!

Rocks D. Xebec's lips curled in amusement.

On this small island, a true force had appeared.

Since their inception, the Rocks Pirates had torn through their enemies like a storm.

None had dared to stand before them.

And yet—

This man did.

At first, Rocks had assumed this upstart would last mere seconds before crumbling under his Haki.

But—

He was still standing.

An unexpected development.

But an exciting one.

A manic grin split Rocks' face, and he erupted into laughter.

"Hahahahahaha!"

This was it.

This was what he desired.

If he could break this man, subdue him—

Then the power of the Rocks Pirates would reach even greater heights.

His rise to world domination would only accelerate.

Whitebeard's lips curled as well, his grip tightening on his weapon.

Fighting spirit surged in his eyes.

He wanted to fight this man.

Charlotte Linlin stood tall, despite the chaotic winds buffeting her.

Then she let out a laugh—

"Interesting! Truly interesting!"

Her voice rang like a bell, laced with anticipation.

"You're quite the looker, and yet so powerful."

"I can't wait to play with you."

Golden Lion Shiki stepped forward, snorting.

"It should be me first."

Excitement flickered in his gaze.

His blood boiled at the sight of the two titans clashing—black and red energy entwining in the air like the battle of gods.

"It's not bad," he admitted. "To hold out against the captain for so long."

Kaido finally steadied himself.

He rolled his shoulders, gripping his spiked kanabo with an eager grin.

"This guy's strong," he acknowledged. "To face the captain head-on for more than ten minutes…"

His blood burned.

A deep, insatiable urge roared within him.

"I want to fight him."

At that moment—

The battle intensified.

The skies darkened.

The air crackled.

And Rocks—

Rocks grinned, his lips curling.

Then he unleashed his full Conqueror's Haki.

The world itself seemed to tremble.

The battlefield became an apocalyptic nightmare.

Black lightning crackled, splitting the sky.

Clouds swirled violently, their dark forms swallowing the heavens.

The sheer force turned the air itself into electric currents, spreading in every direction with a deafening crack!

A city-crushing pressure bore down on the battlefield.

Behind Caesar, those who had endured until now—

They could take no more.

One by one, they collapsed.

Without exception.

At the heart of the storm—

The very air fractured.

The sky itself seemed to break, like shattered glass, fissures of blue light stretching outward.

Click. Click. Click.

The entire island trembled beneath their feet.

A cyan-blue column of energy surged into the sky, colliding with the black-red lightning in a catastrophic display.

Even at sea, seasoned warriors felt the pressure.

Pirates drenched in blood and battle—

Turned pale.

Then turned away.

They fled.

Too slow—

And their bodies froze, overtaken by raw terror.

The shore on the east side—

The very trees were ripped from the ground, flung into the ocean by the air currents.

And at the center of it all—

Caesar gasped for breath.

His chest heaved, sweat dripping from his brow.

The battle of wills was nearing its end.

Slowly—

The balance shifted.

And the overwhelming force pushed back toward him.

His body screamed.

His Haki—

It was reaching its limit.
