One Piece Seat Void

Chapter 1: Boy Scout

The great trade route is the country of endless war.

"Boom, boom!"

"Go! Kill those brats!"

"Bastards, I have long been unhappy with them. Go! Kill them all!"

Noisy noises resounded throughout the battlefield. A group of crazy soldiers raised their guns, cannons, and sabres. They continuously charged towards a group of children, mercilessly killing those seemingly weak children.

Facing those crazy soldiers, those seemingly weak children, they did not panic. Their eyes were numb as they raised their weapons. However, they were still children.

Regardless of strength or body size, they were far from being the opponents of those adults. Soon, countless children were attacked by those crazy soldiers, completely dying on the battlefield.

"Hu, hu, what a bunch of crazy fellows. However, I don't want to die here just like that. Barett, use your full strength. Let's go!" A black-haired young man in a black military uniform, wearing an army hat and holding a long saber, panted as he spoke to his companions behind him.

"Ah, I understand, Locke." A tall, muscular young man with long golden hair and a black military uniform replied. Then, he clenched his fists and charged directly into the group of crazy soldiers. Locke looked helplessly at the young man he called Barett. Then he grasped the sword and sighed in a low voice.

"Ah, I didn't expect that I thought I could travel through dog shit and come to the world of One Piece and have a good time, but in the end, I directly went to hell." After that, he waved the sword and rushed into the crowd.

Locke was not a person of this world. He used to be a very ordinary person in Huaxia of Planet Aquamarine. Because of some accident, he suddenly transmigrated into the world of the Pirate King.

He initially thought that he could start his beautiful life again. Still, because of a war, Locke lost his family, and he, who was five years old, was directly enlisted into the army and became a child of a particular army.

After experiencing countless desperate wars in five years, from his fear of the beginning to his numbness, Locke had entirely recognized the world's cruelty.

"Boss, there are two little ghosts here! Don't rob, and I found this!"

"Hahaha! Look at that kid's epaulets. He's an officer. This daddy is lucky!"

A seemingly vicious soldier discovered Locke and immediately cried out in excitement. He waved the large machete in his hand and slashed at Locke. Locke did not panic as he looked at the large machete cutting at him.

Although he was only ten, Locke was a natural little monster. As a monster, it was naturally impossible for ordinary people to understand him. Locke moved his feet slightly and quickly avoided the machete of the evil Han soldiers.

The long sword in his hand flashed with light. Bright red blood accompanied the terrified and puzzled eyes of the evil Han soldiers as they danced in the air. Locke did not look at him. He moved his feet and rushed to the others again.

"How, how is this possible!" The evil Han soldier was unwilling and fell to the ground. He quickly lost his breath and ultimately lost his life.

Locke waved the long sword in his hand and flashed through the crowd. A soldier would fall to the ground whenever he waved his sword. Soon, all the soldiers around Locke were cut down to the ground.

"Monster! Monster! This kid is a monster!" Finally, a soldier could no longer hold back his fear. He trembled and cried out. He threw away the weapon in his hand and fled the battlefield.

As this soldier fled, like dominos, the remaining soldiers began to drop their weapons in fear and flee the battlefield. Locke had no expression as he looked at the fleeing soldiers.

Soon, the remaining hundreds of soldiers on the battlefield fled the scene, leaving only Locke, Barett, and dozens of children's soldiers behind. In a bitter battle, Locke and his children's army won.

"Ah, did I win? Did I survive?" The victory of the war, there was no joy, only confusion and numbness. The surviving children looked at the battlefield full of corpses with numb eyes and slowly walked towards Locke.

Soon, the remaining twenty children arrived beside Locke and looked at him with emotionless eyes. Looking at those numb and lifeless eyes, Locke sighed helplessly in his heart.

"They are all a bunch of poor fellows. This damn world, this damn country, I will destroy him sooner or later!" Although he was angry in his heart, Locke's expression was extremely calm.

"Hey, Locke, we suffered heavy losses in this battle. Do we continue to carry out the plan?" Barett walked to Locke's side with heavy steps. His tone was mixed with anger as he asked in a low voice.

As the leader of this child army, Locke fell silent. Although he wanted to give up the mission and return to the camp directly, Locke could not do this.

He knew that they could not escape death as long as he led the remaining children's army to give up the mission and return to the camp. Because to the generals of the royal army, the child army was just a bunch of cannon fodder.

They could have as many as they wanted. The cannon fodder would only have value if they could complete the mission. Locke looked at Barett with a calm expression and did not speak.

Seeing Locke's expression, Barett immediately understood what Locke meant. He clenched his fists in anger, and his face was filled with rage. "Damn it, those bastards!" Locke was silent as he looked at the angry Barett. Barett enlisted in the army during Locke's fourth year as a child soldier.

His full name was Gladstone Barrett. He had been abandoned by his mother when he was very young. Then, he was adopted by the Army of GF, the battalion commander of Locke's army. He had been assigned to serve as a junior soldier.

Locke made countless contributions during his five years in a child army, becoming the captain of the child army. Coupled with his unparalleled talent and strength, he was deeply trusted by Battalion Commander Douglas.

Although Barett was nearly two years older than Locke, his current strength was still inferior to Locke's. Moreover, Locke had taken care of himself and his children's army. Therefore, he trusted Locke very much.

"Alright, Barett," he said, "no matter how angry you are, you still can't change our current situation. After all, we are still too weak now." Locke finally spoke and stopped the angry Barett. Although Barett was still angry when he heard Locke's words, he did not continue to be incapable and furious. "Locke, what should we do now? Will we bring those little brats to their deaths like this?"

Because of his interactions with Locke in the past few years, Barett was deeply affected by Locke. He did not want to watch his comrades who had experienced life and death with him and Locke die in vain. Locke glanced at the youths who had recovered some brilliance because of Barett's words.

"No matter if they advance or retreat, they will all die. However, if they advance, there is still a chance of survival. If they retreat, they will die." After Locke finished speaking, he took the lead and walked forward.

"Whether they die or live is determined by the heavens. Follow my footsteps. No matter the outcome, I will always be by your side."Barett was stunned for a moment when he heard Locke's words. Then, he silently followed Locke and walked forward.

"Hmph! Locke, you are someone I recognize. I believe that you will lead everyone to find a way out!" Barett smiled as he looked at Locke. Locke let out a chuckle when he heard Barett's words.

"Hmph! Isn't that a matter of course? Just follow behind me and watch how I destroy this damned country!"

"Hahaha! Then I'll wait and see, Locke!"

The war was endless, the GF unit camp. "Is that so? That kid, Locke's team, had a battle with the enemy's army and suffered heavy losses?" Douglas listened to his subordinates' reports with a calm expression.

"Yes, Sir Douglas. However, although the losses were heavy and only twenty people left, Locke did not choose to retreat. He continued on his way to carry out the mission." Gray said in a slightly mocking tone.

Gray looked down on those cannon fodder brats, especially Locke. Relying on his monstrous talent and strength, he was deeply trusted by Officer Douglas. He was very jealous.

"Hmph, what a smart little brat. However, bringing only a few little ghosts to carry out missions is no different from courting death. Unfortunately, he is a talented little brat. When he becomes stronger, he will help me make more contributions. The position of the general will be easy to capture. What a fool."

After Douglas finished speaking, he did not want to think about Locke and the others. Although Locke and Barett were two brats with potential, they still could not escape the fate of being cannon fodder.

"Gray, Locke and the others are dead for sure this time. There is no need to care about them anymore. Take your people to complete this task yourself. Although it is not difficult, as long as you complete it, I will ask the general to help you."

Hearing Douglas' words, Gray immediately knelt in front of Douglas in excitement. "Thank you, Sir Douglas. I will do my best to complete the mission. I will not disappoint you!"

Douglas did not care too much. He waved his hand and let Gray leave. Walking out of the tent excitedly, Gray clenched his fists tightly. "Hmph! Little Locke, do not let me see you. Otherwise, do not blame me for being ruthless!"
