One Piece : Roger Is My Vice Captain

Rebecca and Violet both glanced at Liu Feng in a panic. There was no way they could let Roger see them like this. Violet shot him a mischievous grin before grabbing Rebecca's arm.

"Hurry! In the closet!" Violet whispered urgently, tugging Rebecca along.

Rebecca frowned. "What? Why should I—?"

"No time!"

 Violet insisted, dragging her toward the large closet on the far side of the room. Reluctantly, Rebecca followed, though clearly annoyed by the sudden hiding plan. Both girls squeezed into the closet, shutting the door behind them.

Liu Feng barely had a moment to adjust his expression before the door creaked open, revealing Roger standing there with his signature smug grin, a sleek black cat perched on his shoulder.

The feline's green eyes glinted in the dim light, as though it could sense the chaos just beneath the surface of the room.

"Roger," Liu Feng greeted, forcing a casual smile.

 "What brings you here at this hour?"

Roger stepped inside without waiting for an invitation, his gaze sweeping the room. "Oh, nothing much. Just came by to discuss… a few important matters."

The black cat leaped from Roger's shoulder, landing gracefully on the floor and circling Liu Feng like a predator assessing its prey.

Roger's eyes lingered on the bed, then the closet. "You're not… hiding anything, are you?"

 "Of course not," Liu Feng said, feigning a yawning. "What could I possibly be hiding in my own room?"

 "I heard some… interesting noises earlier. I thought I'd come check if everything was alright," Roger said, his tone oozing with faux concern.

Meanwhile, inside the closet, things were far less calm.

Rebecca was cramped, her back pressed awkwardly against Violet, who was shifting restlessly.

"Could you stop moving?" Rebecca hissed quietly. "I'm already squished in here because of you."

"You're the one with those ridiculous high heels! They're digging into me!" Violet snapped back in a whisper.

"I wasn't exactly prepared to be shoved into a closet tonight; now was I?" Rebecca retorted, her voice rising slightly.

Outside, Liu Feng heard the faint murmuring coming from the closet and prayed Roger hadn't caught it. He cleared his throat and desperately tried to distract him.

"So, Roger," Liu Feng began, "what exactly did you want to discuss?"

Roger seemed to take his time, leaning back in the chair as if savoring the moment. "Oh, nothing too urgent. Just a bit of… friendly advice."

Inside the closet, the tension escalated. Violet elbowed Rebecca in an attempt to shift positions, but Rebecca wasn't having any of it.

"Would you stop—"

"Ow! That was my foot, you clumsy—"

"You're the one who—"

Suddenly, the closet door burst open, and with a loud thud, both Violet and Rebecca tumbled out onto the floor in a tangle of limbs. They landed at Roger's feet, staring up in shock and embarrassment.

Roger, however, remained seated, his expression unchanged as he looked down at them, clearly amused.

The black cat looked at Liu Feng with a strange expression on his face, squinting his eyes and smiling strangely. 

Roger looked at the woman who fell out of the closet with disbelief and suddenly exclaimed loudly, "Liu Feng, why are there two women in your closet?" 

Rebecca and Violet were so embarrassed that they almost wanted to dig a hole in the ground and climb out. Roger shouted in such a loud voice that he wanted to die. 

"It's over, it's over; why is The Pirate King here? Did he see and hear the words and pictures just now?" 

Confused thoughts flooded Rebecca's mind. 

Violet's face was also full of embarrassment, and her heart was up and down. 

"How could Rebecca break into the closet? There's no way to hide the two of them!" 

"Your Excellency Roger, do you want to keep your voice down!!" 

At this moment, a voice full of anger suddenly exploded from the next door.

"What the idiot is Roger yelling here if you don't sleep in the middle of the night? I need to sleep." 

Swish!!

 Several streaks of golden light suddenly appeared on the wall and then spread out. 

Boom!!

The walls of the room collapsed, and the dust rose. 

The golden lion in a nightgown floated in from the hole in the wall with an angry face and cursed fiercely. 

But when he saw the strange movements of Violet and Rebecca and the embarrassing scene in front of him, he was also stunned. 

"That…" 

The corners of Liu Feng's mouth twitched slightly, just about to explain. 

Unexpectedly, the golden lion suddenly burst into laughter and waved his hand: "No, no, no need to explain, young man, I understand!"

"I don't want to keep this black cat anymore!!" 

"Whoever loves you will keep it!!" 

"Father, Brother Liu Feng, what are they doing without realizing it in the middle of the night?" 

A weak voice came from outside the door. 

Liu Feng's face suddenly darkened. 

He saw Kuina standing at the door with sleepy eyes and Koushiro beside her. 

Koushiro glanced at the room, then quickly reached out to cover Kuina's eyes and smiled at Liu Feng: "We didn't see anything." 

Liu Feng: "…" 

"Roger this bastard …"

Loud, shouting so loudly, are you trying to wake everyone up?

 Tadata!!

A rush of rapid and rhythmic footsteps came again. 

Liu Feng let out a long sigh. 

He then saw Cyrus in military uniform surrounded the room with his soldiers and shouted vigilantly, "The whole army is on alert!" 

"There is an enemy attack!!" 

But when he entered the room, he saw his daughter Rebecca and sister-in-law Violet were "unbearable."

Their dress and appearance made his face blush almost immediately. 

Rebecca and Violet no longer wanted to be humans at this time, and both bowed their heads in shame. 

Liu Feng was already going crazy at this time. 

Why is my room so lively at night? I just want to smoke a cigarette and sleep quietly!

He coughed lightly, cleared his throat, and said solemnly, "That... Cyrus, I said there is nothing here. It happened accidently; do you believe it?" 

Before Cyrus could answer, the three bastards, Roger, the golden lion, and the black cat, all shook their heads solemnly. 

Cyrus blushed and shouted at Rebecca, "Rebecca! Hurry back with me!!" 

"Don't hinder Liu Feng from resting!" 

Rebecca blushed and nodded and obediently stood behind Cyrus. 

Cyrus then looked at Violet with an ugly smile on his face and said softly, "Violet, otherwise, you should go back first too." 

Violet lowered her head, did not speak, and also stood behind him. 

"Then, Mr. Liu Feng, we will not disturb your rest." 

"Someone will come to help you change a room later." 

Cyrus looked at the... terrifying giant pit on the wall and said helplessly. 

Liu Feng nodded and said, "Okay." 

He immediately turned his head and scolded Roger and the others through gritted teeth: "One by one, hurry back to sleep!!" 

Roger and the others left with a smile on their faces. 

After everyone left, Liu Feng slowly let out a breath and shook his head helplessly. 

He just lit a cigarette, but found a pair of small eyes staring at him intently. 

"Meow!" 

The little fat black cat meowed, his face full of wretchedness. 

"I didn't expect you to be like this, meow." 

The black cat's face showed a wretched expression unique to humans. 

Liu Feng rolled his eyes and grabbed the black cat with one hand. 

He slapped its head so hard that it began to see stars.
