One Piece : Rise of Thunder King

Chapter 14: Chapter 14

[Before, a brother mentioned that many people were awakened by seeing, hearing, color, and thinking about it. So, Arthur's training camp includes five awakenings, and all the training camps together add up to 30. However, due to the passage of time, that chapter cannot be changed.]

Fans of One Piece might wonder why no one climbed onto the sky island using the giant vine. The reason is quite simple: the giant vine grows in the Calm Belt. Without a boat bottomed with seastone and someone possessing Conqueror's Haki to ward off the Calm Belt Sea Kings, reaching the island with the vines is nearly impossible.

This island, where the vine thrives, is enormous but not big enough to support such a massive vine. The diameter of the vine's base is a whopping five kilometers. The island is dense with forests and inhabited by wild beasts.

The creatures on this island are not small; they're all fierce and aggressive, even the supposedly harmless herbivores are unusually large.

On the island's edge, atop a high cliff with a flat surface, a young man of 1.8 meters in height trains with a pair of white wings behind him—Arthur.

He uses enormous dumbbells, barbells, and various exercise equipment. The weights are in tons, with the heaviest one weighing a staggering 30 tons.

Arthur is currently shirtless, intensely working out with a barbell. The barbell is five meters long, with a three-ton Iron Body on one end and a seven-ton weight on the other.

The purpose of this training is to enhance Arthur's strength, speed, and endurance in using a three-pointed, two-edged sword.

Moreover, there's a road along the island's edge, which Arthur runs every morning after waking up. This long-distance run around the island measures about 70 kilometers in total. Initially, it took over an hour for Arthur to complete a lap, but now he finishes it in less than fifteen minutes.

Arthur's physical strength and speed are remarkable. He surpasses even Earth's marathon champions, covering 40 kilometers in under three hours. His endurance and speed far exceed those of typical athletes.

The cliff where Arthur trains has become off-limits to the island's animals for two years. They avoid approaching it, understanding that Arthur shouldn't be disturbed.

When Arthur first arrived, he faced challenges and even endured a 100 million-volt attack. However, this posed little harm to some island creatures, causing only temporary pain and paralysis.

Initially, Arthur struggled in battles but eventually mastered teleportation granted by thunder abilities, enabling him to escape dangerous situations. After nearly a thousand intense training sessions and numerous battles, Arthur became invincible on the island.

His standards abilities reached 200 million volts, greatly enhancing his perception and color reading abilities, extending to a radius of approximately two hundred kilometers. Additionally, his physical body became incredibly robust, though dominating the island solely through physical prowess remains challenging, it's a significant achievement.

The Thunder Fruit's development reached a significant bottleneck at 200 million volts, with growth slowing down considerably.

Arthur believed his physical strength was hindering the fruit's progress. Therefore, in the second year, he focused mainly on physical training and skills, occasionally experimenting with new techniques.

By the following year, Arthur had achieved dominance on the island through his physical prowess. He also sensed that the Thunder Fruit still held untapped potential.

In the third year, Arthur combined Thunder Fruit training with physical exercises. However, despite breaking through 200 million volts, progress remained slow, with only a 30 million-volt increase in a year.

During Zheng Ming training, a pleasant female voice interrupted, "Arthur, it's time to eat!"

Arthur completed his workout, set down the barbell, and turned to see Raki from Shandia.

When Arthur arrived on the island, he created a passage in Raijin Island that didn't disrupt its connection with the vines. He then fashioned an island cloud under the hole, aligning it with the vines and the track. This allowed people from the empty island to pass through the hole and reach the Calm Belt island via the vines.

Individuals with enough strength came to the island to train and engage in life-and-death battles.

Raki, although not particularly strong, caught Arthur's eye with her beauty, prompting his interest.

Despite the lack of substantial progress, Arthur and Raki's relationship evolved to include physical intimacy and care for each other's daily lives on the sky island.

After three years, significant changes occurred on the sky island. The previously chaotic Yunhe and clouds caused by Raijin Island were cleared. The Shandia people restored the ruined walls to their state from four hundred years ago.

The island was now organized into various districts: business, entertainment, gourmet, school, fighting arenas, military camps, and residential areas. Along the vines, the section extending from Scratchmen Apoo was divided into three parts. The lower part used island clouds to create a smaller island, one-tenth the size of Scratchmen Apoo, housing the Angel Kingdom's government office and high-end residential area for those with abilities and contributions.

The second layer housed guards to monitor Raijin Island from all directions, ready to respond swiftly to any issues. The third layer, situated fifty meters higher than the vine tops, featured an island cloud 1.5 kilometers long and wide, designated as Arthur's territory.

Though his title as "God" was symbolic of leadership, Arthur aimed to establish a noble, sacred, and respected image among the Sky Islanders from early on.
