Buggy didn't rush to leave Twin Cape. He stayed there for a while, partly to allow Hogback to learn medical skills from Crocus.

Buggy had originally planned to find a Log Pose that pointed to Punk Hazard in a city in the New World.

He didn't expect Crocus' collection to be so extensive. He even had a Log Pose that pointed to Punk Hazard. This solved their navigation route problem.

According to Crocus, this Log Pose was one of the seven paths that extended from seven magnetic forces. This path was different from the one Luffy and his crew took, but it would all converge at Sabaody Archipelago.
