One Piece: Pirate King? I just want to kill all of you

Chapter 20: Mmm~ Smells Delicious!

Moon Step!

Will once again stepped into the air, propelling himself upward.

Then, without hesitation, he withdrew his leg, gathering strength before unleashing another high-speed kick. This time, the arc of his strike was even greater than before!

Tempest Kick: Sea Splitter!

A massive vacuum slash hurtled toward the man in golden armor, compressing the surrounding air into a violent gust.

Upon witnessing this terrifying sight, Krieg's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets.

His mind instinctively recalled a similar scene—the devastating flying slash of a powerful swordsman he had once encountered in the Grand Line.

But that man had at least wielded a massive black blade…

Yet this one had done it with just his leg!

"Damn it—I refuse to accept this—!!"

Krieg roared in fury, unwilling to concede. With all his strength, he swung his long weapon at the incoming vacuum slash.

Crack—!

The moment his weapon made contact, it shattered into pieces.

Boom—!

The vacuum slash continued forward, slamming into Krieg's golden chest plate. The force of impact shattered the armor and sent him crashing straight into the ship.

The unfortunate pirates who were caught in the slash's path were either cleaved in two or left with severed limbs.

Rumble—!

A deafening explosion followed as the entire ship suddenly split in half!

Even the sea beneath the ship was carved open by the sheer force of the slash, leaving a gaping trench in the water, which took several seconds to fill back up.

This, in turn, accelerated the ship's sinking.

Plop.

Will landed steadily on the ship's bow, gazing calmly at the sinking wreckage and the pirates struggling in the water.

As if he had merely dusted off his clothes.

Karina, having just witnessed how effortlessly Will dealt with the enemy pirates, wore an expression of astonishment.

She couldn't help but murmur to herself, "That was… way too efficient."

At that moment, Nami, who had been resting inside the cabin, rushed out upon hearing the commotion. She looked curiously at the two on the bow and asked,

"What happened?!"

Snapping out of her daze, Karina pointed at the wreckage floating on the sea and smiled faintly.

"A group of pirates tried to hijack our ship, but Will took care of them."

"Huh?" Nami turned to look at the wreckage in surprise, a trace of confusion in her gaze. "Pirates? In a place like this?"

After all, there wasn't a single island nearby—this was an uncharted stretch of sea.

Normally, no pirates would venture here.

That was precisely why she had chosen this route—to reach Arlong Park as quickly as possible.

"It's over now. Let's keep moving," Will said indifferently, ignoring the pirates still struggling in the water.

"Aye, Captain," Nami nodded slightly. She had no intention of saving them either and turned toward the helm.

As their ship sailed further away, the exhausted pirates clinging to the broken planks of their wreckage slowly lost strength, slipping beneath the waves one by one.

--

Days passed.

Will and his crew finally neared the waters surrounding the Conomi Islands.

"We're almost there..."

Standing on the deck, Nami stared at the calm sea ahead, her expression complex.

Unlike Will and Karina, who seemed relaxed, she still couldn't shake off her worries.

But since she had no way to avoid what was coming, she could only do her best to help Will defeat Arlong and protect her village.

"Nami~, the steak is ready! Come eat!"

Karina, who was sitting with Will by the grill, called out upon noticing Nami standing alone at the ship's railing.

"Coming!"

Nami turned around and smiled, suppressing her worries as she walked over to the table and sat down.

"Here, fresh off the grill."

Will didn't say much. He simply handed her a sizzling, juicy steak.

"Mmm~ smells amazing!"

Nami took it, inhaling the aroma. Her eyes lit up before she eagerly dug in.

Seeing this, Karina smiled slightly.

As expected, a good meal could help ease one's troubles.

Will, too, was busy devouring his food. In just a few bites, he had cleaned off an entire steak.

As he ate, his stomach swelled slightly before quickly flattening again—a transformation so swift that neither Karina nor Nami noticed.

Will continued feasting on various meats, a hint of satisfaction flickering in his eyes.

He had to admit—while there were many things in the world of pirates that left much to be desired, the quality of the meat here was undeniably top-notch.

He had always been a meat lover, and now, in this world, he could indulge in seafood and meat every day to his heart's content.

Alongside the grilling steaks, there was also an abundant supply of other meats and liquor piled up beside them.

Will had decided to consume all the food reserves on board before reaching Arlong Park.

One reason was that they could restock with fresh ingredients upon arrival.

The other reason was that he had acquired a new talent the previous night when he used his points to draw for skills.

[Iron Body: Possesses muscles and bones far tougher than steel.]

With this ability, Will felt another surge in his strength.

It seemed that his [Innate Strength] had been further enhanced by [Iron Body], unlocking even greater potential.

Fortunately, his control over his own power was now precise enough to prevent accidentally breaking the ship.

After using up 10,000 points last night, he still had 7,000 left.

What surprised him was that the random group of pirates he had wiped out earlier had contributed 1,800 points.

He had no idea who they were, but their value was on par with that of Buggy the Clown and Don Krieg's crew.

After thinking about it for a moment and coming up with no answers, he decided to stop worrying about it and continued wolfing down his meal.

Just as they were enjoying their feast—

Will's movements paused. He raised his gaze toward the distant sea, his brows furrowing slightly.

"Something is approaching."

"Huh?" Karina and Nami were caught off guard.

"In the water."

Will put down his food and slowly walked to the edge of the ship.

At that moment—

The water beside the ship suddenly swelled, and a massive figure burst forth!

"A Sea Beast?!"

Karina and Nami gasped as they saw the enormous, bull-like head emerging from the water.

"No… That's Mohmoo!"

The moment Nami recognized the sea cow, her expression darkened.

"Mohmoo?" Karina looked at her in confusion.

Recalling something unpleasant, Nami's face turned grim as she explained:

"Mohmoo, the sea cow. It's the pet of Hatchan, one of Arlong's three officers."

"Under Hatchan's command, it used its massive size and strength to destroy entire villages that couldn't pay their tribute..."

"What?!"

Karina's eyes widened in shock as she looked up at the seemingly harmless sea cow.
