Chapter 178: 178 Tom’S Crew
"Aliens?" Enel scoffed.
"If they existed, they'd capture all the men to grow watermelons and pick cotton. Anyone who disobeys would be whipped."
"As for the women, the unattractive ones would be sent to pick cotton, while the pretty ones would be given welfare—one per person! No, make it two!"
Lynch gave Enel a thumbs up and said, "You have some ambition."
"That's right!" Enel raised his head proudly.
In the following week, West Blue experienced a rare period of peace.
One day, Tom came to Lynch with a mouse, two bears, and a birdman, introducing them enthusiastically.
"Meow, meow, meow, meow~," Tom said, his tone lively.
Thankfully, with the mouse acting as a translator, Tom's words were finally clear. As Tom spoke, the mouse translated for Lynch.
Upon meeting the legendary King of the West Blue, the mouse, trembling with awe, kowtowed twice before nervously speaking:
"Greetings, Lord Lynch. We are Boss Tom's crew and members of his Beasts Pirates."
Then, after a pause, the mouse hesitantly continued:
"He says he just wants to live as a house cat now. The Beasts Pirates are officially disbanded as of today."
"What?!" the mouse yelped, suddenly realizing what it had just translated. It turned to Tom in shock.
The two bears froze mid-bite, honey dripping from their mouths, before bursting into tears. Clinging to Tom's leg, they wailed loudly.
While sobbing, they held up a sign: "Boss Tom, don't abandon us! We promise to eat less from now on!"
Tom sighed but remained firm, motioning for the mouse to continue translating.
The mouse, voice trembling with emotion, relayed Tom's words:
"Don't try to convince me. I'm not chasing big ambitions anymore. My only dream is to stay with my master and have a cozy, warm nest."
Tom looked at his crew and added earnestly, "You've been with me for so many years—you're my companions. I, Tom, am a loyal cat. I won't abandon you."
"I'll ask the master to arrange a residence for you in the imperial capital so you can be properly taken care of," Tom said through the mouse. "From now on, every bite of food I have, half of it will be yours."
"Woooooo~ Boss Tom!" The mouse finished translating, then threw himself into Tom's furry embrace, sobbing uncontrollably.
"I'm your loyal servant! I'm not going anywhere—I'm staying with you forever!"
Tom raised his hand to wipe the tears from his eyes. Really, they all love to cry so much that it makes him want to cry too.
Lynch looked at this scene with a half-smile, not knowing where Tom Cat found these strange animals.
Also Beasts Pirates, where does this leave Kaido?
"Okay." Lynch said lightly, and several animals were so frightened that they immediately stopped crying.
"For Tom's sake, I will properly arrange for you to live in the Imperial City. If you miss Tom in the future, you can come and play with him at any time."
"Really?" The mouse and the two bears lit up, their ears twitching in surprise.
"I don't make jokes"
"Thank you, Your Majesty the Emperor! Thank you, Your Majesty the Emperor! You are our great benefactor!"
The mouse pulled the two brothers, the Bear, and banged their heads a few times, and then retreated sensibly.
Only Monet was left, staring at Lynch with a blank expression.
It was her first time meeting him in person, but his reputation had long preceded him.
How could she put it? Before seeing him in person, Monet had imagined Lynch as some monstrous figure—three heads, six arms, a green face, fangs, and the kind of man who ate two children alive at every meal, given his "brutal" reputation.
But the reality was completely different. He was undeniably handsome—far more so than in the photos.
His smile was as warm as a spring breeze, yet his eyes radiated an undeniable authority.
For a moment, Monet found herself stunned.
Tap, tap, tap.
The crisp sound of Lynch's fingers tapping on the wooden chair snapped her out of her daze.
Noticing Lynch's commanding gaze fixed on her, Monet quickly feigned weakness, collapsing to the ground.
She covered her pretty face with her wings, sobbing softly.
Her graceful figure, now in a fragile posture, exuded a delicate charm that touched the heart.
"This girl's parents passed away when I was very young," Monet began, her voice trembling.
"Villains captured me, cut off my limbs, and turned me into… this."
Tears streamed down as she continued, her tone filled with sorrow. "I finally escaped and was saved by Boss Tom. It was from him that I learned about the Emperor's deeds. From that moment, I admired you deeply."
She lifted her gaze slightly, her voice pleading. "Please allow me to stay by your side. Even as a slave, it's better than being alone. Have mercy on me~"
Her delicate frame shook as she sobbed, resembling a wounded creature seeking shelter
An ordinary person might have been swayed by Monet's emotional display.
But Lynch? He wasn't someone who blindly trusted a woman's words just because of her beauty.
Besides, he was well aware of Monet's true identity. She was a part of Donquixote Family, a Snow-Snow Fruit user—a Logia, no less.
Yet, like Smoker, she was considered a disgrace to the Logia users, wasting her great power with unimpressive results.
Still, the timing was suspicious. Doflamingo had recently sent Lynch a gift to curry favor. So, what was the deal with this woman showing up now?
Lynch narrowed his eyes. "That evil man really deserves to be torn apart, even if he had to make a beautiful woman like you be like this!"
"Do you still remember where he is? Let's go kill him."
"Ah?!"
Monet didn't know what to say for a moment. This, this, this, this, this is not how the script should be performed!
Wasn't the plan for the other party to be captivated by her beauty and gladly keep her by his side?
She had complete confidence in her looks—no one could resist a beautiful girl like her.
But if this situation led them to Caesar Clown, Monet couldn't even begin to imagine the disastrous consequences.
Lyncy must be too enthusiastic. If she had known better, she wouldn't have pretended to be so pitiful.
Monet pretended to sob again, lowering her head in self-reproach. "It's all my fault... I'm so useless. I'm terrible with directions. I can't even remember the name of the island."
Her eyes were red as she buried her face into her chest, her voice filled with shame and she buried her face into her plump chest, which was at least a G.
Though large, her figure was perfectly proportioned, a common feature of women in this world, perhaps even a unique beauty.
Lynch, remembering his childhood, recalled reading One Piece Weekly where Nami and Robin were both described as having F-sized busts.
The exaggerated proportions of her round, full breasts and curvy limbs seemed like something straight out of a comic book, yet here they were in real life.
Lynch couldn't help but think that Monet had been trained as a spy from a young age. Her acting skills were so convincing, she could easily win an Oscar.
He sighed and said, "Oh, you're a poor soul too. From now on, you can stay in the palace. I'll have someone prepare a room for you."
"Thank you, sir. Your kindness will never be forgotten by this little girl~"
Monet wiped her eyes, stood up, and bowed to Lynch, inadvertently revealing a deep curve to him.
After Monet and the guards left, Lynch sneered in disdain.
Seduce him? he thought. Which of my wives isn't stunningly beautiful?
Later, Lynch called Mark and instructed him to send several SWORD members to monitor Monet.
"Yes, sir."
"Good, go now."
Lynch couldn't handle Mark's eager gaze and quickly kicked him out of the room.
As soon as Mark stepped outside, he expertly grabbed a black book and began writing:
Wednesday, sunny weather. Mr. Lynch is as heroic as ever, full of Majesty. I'm so happy to speak with such a great man again~ ( ̄▽ ̄).
