Chapter 16: 016 Sun Pirates, Nighthawk
Lynch stopped thinking about it.
Whether the empress dies or not is none of his business.
But he was very interested in the rewards that could be accumulated.
"Um, Gion-san, you're pressing too hard."
Lynch carefully moved the Gion beautiful legs off his body and then eased the softness pressing against his chest.
Lynch quietly slipped out from under the quilt, put on his shoes, and quietly left the room.
As the door closed, Momousagi opened her eyes in the darkness.
Lynch changed out of his Marine clothes, and put some black attire, covered the lower half of his face, and used his Return of Life ability to increase his height to 2.1 meters.
"This should be foolproof."
If he dared to use his official identity to do this kind of thing, he'd have at least three Admirals knocking on his door the next day.
Teng Teng Teng~
In the dark of night, Lynch dashed away on Moonwalk.
Crossing the Red Line was now just a minor hurdle for him.
After reading the original work, Lynch knew that the group of fishmen climbed up from behind the Red Line.
So, once he had the information, finding them wouldn't be difficult.
"Found it!"
After what felt like an eternity, he finally perceived the Sun Pirates' ship slowly docking on the Red Line in the dark of night.
"Brother Tiger, do we really have to risk our lives to save those humans? Don't forget, you used to hate humans too!"
On the deck, Arlong gripped Tiger's shoulders and shook him angrily.
"Arlong, you're too brash, and you still haven't let go of the past with Boss Tiger."
Fisher Tiger gestured for Jinbei to stop, then looked Arlong in the eyes and said, "Arlong, I understand your hatred for humans, but not all of them are bad. You need to learn to forgive."
"Our Queen, Princess Otohime, wishes for reconciliation between fish-men and humans in our generation."
"We may represent the fishman, but the Fishman doesn't represent us. You need to understand that."
"And besides, many of our fellow fishman are among the slaves. I came here originally for their sake."
"Yes Arlong, you should listen to Boss Tiger." Hatchi said naively.
"Humph." Arlong snorted coldly, walked aside and said nothing.
Maybe due to the butterfly effect, Tiger didn't harbor the unrelenting hatred for humans as he did originally. Instead, he was moved by Princess Otohime and chose to let go of his animosity.
"The famous Sun Pirates don't seem to live up to their reputation. They can't even control their own crew."
The sudden sound startled the Sun Pirates.
Everyone must be aware of their next move, but there must be no leaks!
The fishmen turned towards the sound and spotted a figure standing proudly atop the sail, arms folded, gazing down at them.
"Asshole! How did you find us? What do you want?" A group of crew members asked nervously.
Arlong coldly gripped his shark-tooth sword and pointed it at Lynch.
"Why are you asking so many questions? It won't be too late when I catch him and slowly interrogate him."
The other fishmen stayed silent, agreeing with Arlong's decision.
"Young fishman, I suggest you consider the consequences of attacking me and whether you can bear it,"
Lynch warned, his voice low as he slowly raised a finger.
In an instant, the overwhelming pressure surged toward Arlong. Arlong's pair of dead fish eyes shrank in an instant, and he was sweating like rain.
For a moment, he felt as if he glimpsed the future.
If he dared to attack that man, his hand would surely be severed!
Looking at Arlong, who appeared as if he'd just been plucked from the sea, Tiger took a step forward.
"Respected strong man, please forgive Arlong for being unreasonable. May I ask whether you are an enemy or a friend?"
Jinbei and the other fishmen tightened their grip on their weapons, ready to act if the man gave the wrong answer.
"Whether I'm friend or foe depends on your decision," Lynch replied calmly.
"You're heading to Mariejois tonight. How about you take me along?"
"You!"
Tiger was truly panicked now. Only the Sun Pirates knew about his plan for tonight. How did this man find out?
Could there be a spy among them? Impossible!
"Well, there's no harm in bringing me along. If I were from the World Government, would you still be alive today? On the contrary, you'd be more worried if you didn't take me with you."
Hearing this, Tiger fell into deep thought.
Indeed, the men can't be members of the World Government, especially those overly righteous like the Marines.
In this situation, cooperation might not be impossible.
But the most terrifying thing would be if someone went to report it.
After wanting to understand everything, Tiger said in a deep voice: "I can agree to your request, but please don't drag us down."
"Don't worry, I'm also wanting to liberate the slaves. We're on the same goal,"
Lynch reassured. Tiger couldn't help but marvel at how much this guy knew about their plan.
"Boss Tiger, do we really have to trust this human?" Jinbei asked, casting a worried glance at Arlong.
"I've got a feeling he's not our enemy," Tiger declared, eyeing Lynch.
"What's your name?"
"Nighthawk."
Five minutes later, as Arlong watched the man discussing the rescue plan with their boss, a smirk played across his lips.
Does he have to be so friendly? Hey, he nearly scared me to death just now!
Recalling the fright he'd just experienced, Arlong was so on edge that he didn't dare to make any mistakes.
…
"In that case, we'll leave it to you, Nighthawk,"
Tiger declared, folding away the map of the prison layout. "You have my trust."
The night was pitch black, with not a single star in sight.
Heavy clouds veiled the moon, as a group of fishmen climbed the Red Line using only their bare hands.
Not wanting to reveal that he was Marine, Lynch climbed along with him.
Celestial Dragons never imagined that someone would climb up from behind the Red Line.
So they managed to infiltrate Mariejois without encountering a single guard along the way.
"Your Excellency Nighthawk, proceed as planned." After Tiger finished speaking, he led a group of fishman and disappeared into the night.
Lynch stealthily followed the mental map, making his way towards the prison where slaves were held.
Their only goal: rescue as many people as possible before being detected. If caught, immediate escape was the plan.
Tiger warned that Mariejois teemed with countless CP organizations. If they tangled with them and awaited higher-level combat forces, they'd be doomed.
Lynch knew that Tiger was referring to Three Admiral.
The Marines Headquarters was right in front of Mariejois, and it only took less than half an hour to get there.
But he knew better.
The terrifying and unknown CP0, the Five Elders who can turn into monsters, the Knights of God who have never appeared, and the most powerful Im...
If any of these forces shows up, it's certain death for everyone here.
Mariejois is, without a doubt, the most dangerous place in the world.
If the reward this time wasn't big, he wouldn't have dared to take such a risk.
The prison guards aren't very strong , mainly tasked with guarding slaves.
These people didn't even have the slightest sense of precaution. It seemed that they had been at ease for too long.
Lynch knew that after tonight, these guys would be executed by the angry Celestial Dragons.
So, adhering to the principle of a good man going to the end, Lynch crushed their throats.
"Don't make any noise, you are free."
Lynch used the key to open the prison, and a group of people cried with joy
