One Piece - Life Choice Ask Me to Kiss Marine Goddes Hina

Chapter 135: 135 A Two-Pronged Approach

In the dimly lit room, Betty and Lynch stood facing each other.

Betty bit her plump red lips and remained silent.

"You don't want anyone to know you're a commander of the revolutionary army, do you?"

Lynch smirked, his tone mischievous, as he pressed her against the wall. The closeness allowed him to catch the faint scent of her.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Betty said, trying to maintain her composure even though panic flickered in her eyes.

"Really, Betty?" Lynch said, casually revealing her identity without hesitation.

"What exactly do you want?"

After being exposed, Betty couldn't keep up the act anymore and shouted angrily.

"You should remember your position. I don't like people talking loudly to me."

Lynch said, lifting her chin with one hand and pushing her onto the bed.

"You scumbag! What do you want from me?"

Betty, whose hands were bound by seastone handcuffs, was helpless and looked at Lynch approaching step by step, feeling extremely panicked.

"Damn it! He's probably going to take advantage of me! He probably even used me to claim credit!"

Betty thought, biting her tongue in frustration.

For the sake of the revolution and her dignity, she was ready to sacrifice herself if things went too far.

"If I get through this, I swear I'll never go without a bra again," she vowed. It was those "big assets" that had led to her exposure in the first place.

Lynch knows that suppressing the opponent to this level is enough.

Suppressing the other party's arrogance is to make the next conversation proceed better. If she continues, going too far is not enough.

"Don't get me wrong, I have no ill intentions towards you. We can talk."

Betty's eyes flashed, and things seemed to be turning around, "Why should I trust you?"

Lynch's expression remained serious. "I'm not here to deceive you. I speak with conscience," he said, while placing a hand on Betty's soft left side.

"What kind of conscience do you have? Take your hands away from me!"

Betty's eyes flared with anger. If she had the strength, she would've struck Lynch down without hesitation.

"Don't blame me for this, girl. It's your chest that's so big, I can't feel my conscience,"

Lynch said, completely unfazed, as he touched Betty's "conscience" without hesitation.

Seeing Betty gritting her teeth, Lynch withdrew his hand with a smirk. "Alright, let's say I safely return you to the Revolutionary Army and don't report you to the World Government. That's a good reason to trust me."

"What's the condition?" Betty asked, knowing nothing came for free.

The two had a deep conversation in the room, gradually building trust like old acquaintances, discussing matters concerning the Revolutionary Army.

Afterward, Lynch sent Betty on her way and let out a long breath.

Now, with the Revolutionary Army as a shield, his path ahead would be much smoother.

The ships carrying supplies and prisoners moved much slower than Lynch. By the time they finally arrived at the island where he first met Dragon, the sun had already set and risen again.

This time, however, the island was empty. The revolutionary troops had disappeared, leaving only a few scattered fires still burning.

"This...?"

The CP members of the World Government stared at the empty island, utterly confused. Wasn't there supposed to be a revolutionary army here? Where were the people?

Everyone's eyes turned toward Lynch, hoping for answers.

"Shua~"

Suddenly, a large figure appeared on the boat out of nowhere, startling the CP members. They immediately became alert, their eyes fixed on the newcomer.

"Mr. Lynch, Dragon asked me to wait here for you. I hope you don't mind," said the towering figure, Tyrant Kuma, cloaked in black, as he leaned in and whispered to Lynch.

"Tell Dragon to relax. Do I look like the type to call the Marines to ambush you?"

Lynch smirked, ignoring the resentful glare from one of the CP members on the ship. He patted Kuma on the shoulder and said, "Hurry up, I won't stop you."

Kuma nodded, disappearing and reappearing in a hidden corner below deck.

Making sure no one could see, he slowly removed his gloves, revealing his large, bear-like palms.

"If you want to travel, where would you like to go?" Kuma muttered as he gently tapped the ship.

In an instant, the huge transport vessel vanished, leaving only Kuma standing there.

Then, with a single slap to himself, Kuma disappeared as well.

In the sky, a paw-shaped bubble enveloped the transport ship, shooting through the clouds like a meteor.

"What... What kind of Devil Fruit power is this?"

"Oh my god, this is flying too fast."

The CP members aboard were in awe as the scenery below blurred past them.

After just half an hour, the ship landed with a splash on the sea, coming to rest near a new island.

A large group of Revolutionary Army troops surrounded them as Tyrant Kuma appeared and said, "Mr. Lynch, Dragon is waiting for you on the island."

"Okay," Lynch replied, casting a meaningful glance at the CP members on the boat before following Tyrant Kuma to meet Dragon again.

This island was much more populated than the previous temporary one, with many more Revolutionary troops present.

Dragon had also successfully moved from a tent into a cabin.

"Hahahaha, Lynch Admiral, don't blame me for being suspicious. The situation of our revolutionary army is really worrying, and I have to be vigilant." Dragon pretended to sigh as he welcomed Lynch inside and poured him a cup of hot tea.

His attitude was much better than during their last meeting.

Since Lynch had returned, it meant that the ransom negotiations were likely nearing completion.

Dragon clapped his hands, and Connor entered the cabin, holding the Celestial Dragons like chickens.

The moment the Celestial Dragon saw Lynch, he began to cry out, "Ahhhhh~ Admiral Sun Candle, you bastard! Why did it take you so long to come and save me?"

In just one day, the Celestial Dragons had lost weight and clearly were not enjoying their time here.

Lynch realized that most of the Revolutionary Army consisted of people oppressed by the World Government. If it weren't for Dragon's order, these people would have eaten the Celestial Dragons alive.

After a moment of surprise, it seemed that Lynch's arrival had renewed the Celestial Dragons' confidence.

They began pointing at everyone and cursing loudly.

"You insects in the ditch, just wait! you dare to attack the great Celestial Dragons, I'll kill you all!"

"And you, Lynch!" the Celestial Dragon glared at him fiercely.

"You loser, why did it take you so long to save me? When I get back, I'll make sure the World Government punishes you severely!"

"Shut up! Are you a dog?"

Connor, the master of civilization, raised his hand and slapped the Celestial Dragon.

The Celestial Dragon shrank back in fear, immediately quieting down.

At the end of the day, hundreds of slaps in the face still left a huge shadow in Celestial Dragons' heart.

No, his face is still swollen now.

As soon as the Celestial Dragons shut up, the world suddenly became quiet, and Dragon and Lynch cast admiring glances at Connor.

Connor scratched his head shyly, what an honor it was to be recognized by two big guys at the same time.
