One Piece: I'm Mihawk's Son

Chapter 158: The Banquet of Kings II

Certainly! Here's the corrected version of the text with all the typos fixed:

The Grand Line. Secluded Domain, Island of Kuraigana.

Far within the realms of the Grand Line, there was a territory that had seemingly vanished from the map; any single resemblance of history had been long forsaken, the home of what used to be the Shikkearu Kingdom. Once the home of the Strongest Woman Alive, Dracule Mihawk.

Now, a testing facility. A territory within the Grand Line that was unable to be found under common circumstances; it didn't have an electromagnetic pulse, which meant that it couldn't be reached with a Log Pose. And in the unexpected case that a god-forsaken sailor managed to reach the vicinity, sadly... that vessel would become the main dish of a swarm of Yuda Serpents that inhabited this area, not by chance.

This island is now known as 'Dreamland' by the inhabitants of Shandora, Amazon Lily, and Rusukaina. The reason? This island was essentially Dracule Veyron's sandbox.

Any bomb, any experiment, any new attack, any spar... any event that could otherwise cause catastrophic results if it took place in any of those islands would be tested here first. As a result, the atmosphere on this island was rather... peculiar.

Split into two, gigantic craters everywhere, volcanoes and molten rocks, lava, poisonous rivers, gigantic floating bodies of water and earth, a hazy green aura in the skies, and red lightning sparking down in some places. Any oddity that could be thought of, there was here.

At the southernmost part of the island, a secluded beach was what remained of the once original Kuraigana, although it wasn't completely unscathed. The sand of this beach was silver and sparkly in colour.

Lying down on the sand comfortably, completely bereft of clothes and with sunglasses, lay a group of women. They were sharing appetizers, wine, cherries... giggling and telling each other 'tales' of the things they had 'done' for the last week ever since they moved here.

"This is life~" (Hancock)

"This is life indeed" (Marigold)

"It was all worth it" (Sandersonia)

"Weren't you supposed to be back in the North Blue, Stussy?" (Robin)

...

The blonde lady lowered her sunglasses to glare at Robin before putting them back on, refusing to comment on the matter; she was skipping work, but she couldn't care any less.

"No need to get upset~ I understand," Robin giggled and regained her spot while keeping her glare on the blonde, further inciting her... things were complicated indeed. She was supposed to return to Alabasta with Vivi, who was still in the city of Vesta. But the way things looked, the thought of departing was becoming more and more faint.

"Then keep your comments to yourself; I'll leave when the master states with those lips of his that he had enough of my body."

"You know he won't ever say that..." The dark lady sighed and looked back at the skies, biting her lips and peeking through the darkness of the desolate forest in Kuraigana, where among the fantastic bushes, a couple of lovebirds were going at it hard. Without even noticing, her hand reached her crotch; it had all become too common.

In the middle of them all, there was the 'leader', the big boss drinking her wine while reading newspapers with her legs crossed; to her, this was nothing short of paradise.

"I never thought we'd use Rusukaina for something like this; you're all tarnishing my land."

"Mother-in-law, you're also naked, so don't get cocky now," Sandersonia smirked, she took a big piece of grilled fish from a platter and stuffed it in her mouth.

"We're about to run out of food; who is cooking now?" Hancock chipped in.

"It's because Marigold and Sandersonia eat so much; you even devoured Primrose and Veyron's treat."

"I don't think they're going to eat it anyway~."

They continued chatting until it was decided that since Sandersonia was the one to eat everything, she'd be cooking next, which the Anaconda didn't mind.

"I think I'm going to be the first one to say it since none of you dare to," Hancock coughed a bit, gaining the attention of all the ladies on the beach.

"..."

"I'm relieved that we're sharing him."

Her comment drew silence for some time before they all ended up nodding although Mihawk was a little reluctant.

"H-Hmph, I would have been able to take him on by myself."

"Really? You gave up after the third round, mother-in-law~"

"..." The Strongest Swordswoman concealed her blushing face in the newspapers, "T-That's because it was my first time. Next time I'll last a lot more."

"But ever since then, you haven't lasted more than two rounds... do you still think you can do it on your own?" Sandersonia licked her lips and snickered in amusement much to Mihawk's irritation.

"..."

"Thought so. Although I'd appreciate a few moments of privacy just for the two of us... I'm also happy that we're doing this together" (Sandersonia).

"I have no complaints, If I get to look at you all getting ravaged to death, that's better for me~" (Robin).

"Have you always got to be this spooky?" (Stussy)

"I'm happy the way things are and I wouldn't change them for nothing" (Marigold)

"To be able to have this special moment with my sisters and mother and see their pleasure-filled expressions, it only made me love darling more uncontrollably~" (Hancock)

Odd gazes were directed at Hancock that day.

"She's a goner" (Robin)

"Indeed" (Mihawk)

...

Amid the chatter, Hancock crawled towards the yellow-eyed beauty, catching her attention.

"Mother-in-law, I meant to ask you. Do you think we need more training?"

"Oh?"

"After what happened... if we're to defy Veyron's wishes and keep sailing. We must become way stronger; we can't afford for what happened this time to happen ever again. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself."

"Are you sure that was the right choice, Hancock?"

Hancock addressed the elephant in the room. The blame was gone; the past was the past, but she still had to make sure the past would never be repeated. Veyron's wishes had been for them to not leave Amazon Lily. And it wasn't limited to just them; he meant to prohibit all of the Amazonians from leaving Amazon Lily and sailing until he approved.

Although she understood his worries, that was essentially an island-shaped prison. For the last five years, Amazonians have known freedom like never before. They worshipped Veyron as their god for logical reasons. Compared to before when they were confined to the island due to their inability to sail en masse through the Calm Belt; now, Amazonians were free to go and come anywhere in the world with a freedom that surpassed even that of the Celestial Dragons.

They could go to Shandora or Skypiea, their preferred choice of travel. They could descend to Rusukaina... they could take ships from Rusukaina to their nearby kingdoms all for free just because they were Amazonians. It was easier than ever for them to reproduce, in the last five years a lot of them had gone and returned, giving birth in Amazon Lily, getting married to Skypeans and Shandians or even Fishmen.

Their tribe was making huge accomplishments like never before and now, that freedom gained five years ago threatened to be taken away due to their 'mistake'. He intended for them to be secluded again because outside was not 'safe'.

As his wife, she had to be obedient, but as the Hebihime, she couldn't allow her mistake to erase the miraculous five-year progress of the tribe.

"I know it was the right choice, mother-in-law... but I'm still afraid the same could happen again. It is not just his worry for us if we were to lose more members of the crew-".

"Do you lot think the reason this happened is because you're weak?"

"Isn't that the case?" Marigold and Sandersonia chipped in with equal worry, they're the vice chiefs of the crew after all and Hancock alone couldn't take all the responsibility.

Hearing them, Mihawk had to resist the urge to deadpan.

"The fact you think so reflects the root of the problem: lack of experience. Any of you could even give me a good fight if we went all out even if you ultimately lost, and I am among the peak of this world together with Veyron. How could the problem be that you're weak?"

"But then..." They didn't know, the incident had been a massive blow to their confidence.

Mihawk closed the newspaper and sat up, indicating for them to do the same and they did. Hancock, Sandersonia and Marigold sat like students, ready to be enlightened while Stussy and Robin watched from the sidelines.

"In the middle of a war; you should never let your guard down even when you have won... that was your mistake, it is as simple as that. You are strong, but you've never been in a wide confrontation... for three years I assume every single one of your enemies was crushed with absolute force, am I correct?".

"... that's correct".

"This world is riddled with mysteries and powers, devil fruits among them are very tricky and there is no way for you to know who is and who isn't a user or what their powers and abilities are. In the middle of a war, you can't trust anyone, not even a little kid... you have learned that in a bad way".

They clenched their fists, it was difficult to process... "We have seen too many vulnerable children... in Marie Geoise. Certainly, when I saw Sugar I felt something wasn't right, but because she was a little girl... I let my guard down" Hancock confessed, releasing the pressure of her clenched fist with a sigh.

"You can't allow your past as a slave to affect your rationale. There are people in vulnerable positions all over the world. But some willingly make themselves look vulnerable to take advantage of others, during a war, this wickedness abounds to the extreme, remember that. You, girls, don't need any training for me, what you need is to experience what true war is like... for that, Robin may be able to help you more than me~".

"Eh?" Being addressed so suddenly the raven-haired lady pointed at herself before Mihawk nodded and stood up, walking back to the island.

"Do you mean, our crew?"

"That's right. Since the Kuja Pirates are going to be stand-by. Why don't you take them on a trip for a while and show them how the real world looks? They may learn something good from it".

By the time her voice faded Mihawk was gone, eager for some more action while Robin, Hancock, Sandersonia and Marigold were left thinking.

"What do you mean 'our crew' Robin?" Hancock crossed her arms with a frown there was something they hadn't been told.

...

"So she's going to make a crew...? That's interesting news" Stussy giggled, placing her sunglasses back on.

'Nico Robin and Dracule Mihawk in a crew...? if those three join as well... this world is going to shake, I may need to have a few words with Morgans~'.
