Even the pirates aboard the ship were stunned. Sure, they could use their strength to make ships "fly" by sheer force, but this was different. This ship was genuinely flying, gliding effortlessly through the sky.

The pirates were envious, but none dared to act on their greed. All because of the young man sitting at the bow of the ship.

Kai and Luffy sat at the bow, intently watching the image projected by a Den Den Mushi. It was a live broadcast from Marineford. The Whitebeard Pirates hadn't arrived yet, which was why Kai had chosen to use the Ark Maxim instead of his Soru. He'd learned about the situation at Marineford through the Den Den Mushi while still in Impel Down.

Robin and the others were already on the execution platform. Arriving too early would be pointless, especially if Whitebeard and his crew hadn't shown up yet. It was better to let Whitebeard draw the initial firepower. The Marine forces shown on the broadcast were more than just the usual heavy hitters.

In addition to the Marines, the Shichibukai were also present—even Blackbeard was there, surprisingly not causing trouble in Impel Down. This made Kai curious. Back in his previous life, when he'd watched the anime, he'd often wondered how someone like Hancock could fall for Luffy. He wasn't alone—countless fans had felt the same way. Her beauty, her charm, her long legs—everything about her was perfect. And the way she acted so arrogantly in front of others but became completely devoted to the man she loved? That contrast was irresistible.

But Kai wasn't greedy. Nami, Robin, and Hancock—he'd be content with just those three. He wasn't asking for much.

Not far from them stood another group—the God's Knights, led by Saint Figarland Garling. This was no ordinary force. The God's Knights had the authority to arrest and even execute Celestial Dragons. And Garling was no pushover—he'd participated in the God Valley Incident. Though his exact strength was unknown, Kai had no doubt he was formidable.

But what worried Kai the most wasn't the Five Elders or the God's Knights. It was the figure standing behind them—or rather, the presence that loomed over the entire scene.

Im, the King of the World.

From the looks of it, this wasn't just a Marine operation. This was Im's doing. Otherwise, why would the Five Elders and the God's Knights be here?
