Conqueror's infusion!

If you don't have Conqueror's Haki, or even if you lack enough understanding of it, you won't know this term.

But Sengoku, being an Admiral, definitely falls into the "know-and-own" category.

"Certainly!"

Although Sengoku didn't understand why Akira asked this suddenly, he still nodded affirmatively.

"Is it difficult to learn?" Akira pursed his lips.

Sengoku's eyes flickered slightly, and he instantly understood that Akira was planning to learn these kinds of moves, which can only be mastered by top-tier experts.

He didn't answer right away but stood there thinking for a while.

Only then did he ask: "I heard that you learned Armament Haki from Garp some time ago?"

"Yes," Akira replied.

"Has it reached the point where you can infuse it?"

"Not quite."

"I see~~~"

Sengoku nodded and clarified: "Then if you want to learn, it's both difficult and not so difficult at the same time."

Akira's face filled with doubt. "Huh? What do you mean?"

This riddle was too much!

If it's difficult to learn Conqueror's infusion, which only top experts can master, Akira thinks that's normal. But Sengoku also said it's not as hard as Akira imagined. This is confusing.

"Haki, in fact, is similar to Armament Haki Emission. It's an attack method where Haki is guided out of the body and infused into fists or weapons."

"Although it's much harder than mastering Armament Haki, learning it first gives you a huge advantage in understanding Conqueror's infusion."

"Fleet Admiral Akira, you haven't that yet, so when you do start learning, you'll have no prior experience to rely on and will have to learn from scratch."

"But..."

"Your Conqueror's Haki is already very strong and has reached the basic threshold for learning how to infuse it."

"So, as long as you put in the time and effort, you can definitely learn it."

Listening to Sengoku's straightforward explanation, Akira immediately understood.

Even though he hadn't trained in Armament Emission yet, it didn't affect his ability to grasp the concept of Conqueror's infusion at all. This was entirely due to the monstrous level his Conqueror's Haki had already reached.

Conqueror's infusion also has a threshold. If you haven't reached that entry level with Conqueror's Haki, no matter how skilled you are in Emission, breaking through to Conqueror's infusion would still be a distant goal.

Thinking it over, this made sense.

"Then, do you have time to teach me how to master this ability?" Akira asked.

"If you're ready to learn, I'm available anytime," Sengoku replied without hesitation.

As the Fleet Admiral, Akira could command Sengoku's time as needed. Even if Sengoku was busy, he'd make time for this.

Additionally, since the broadcasted execution of a criminal Vice Admiral, the crimes committed by high-ranking officers had significantly decreased. Many reports could now be delegated to Vice Admiral Tsuru and Issho.

"Then let's not waste any time. Let's start today."

Akira eagerly stood up and walked toward the door. Before leaving, though, he created a clone of himself and left it behind in the office to handle paperwork in his stead.

Suddenly, he paused. At an angle where Sengoku couldn't see, Akira reshaped a small deformed leaf, wrote "Viola" on it, and handed it to the clone, whispering a few instructions.

The clone nodded in acknowledgment.

Time passed slowly after that. Ever since Akira committed to learning under Sengoku as a top student, he spent most of his time between the training room and the Fleet Admiral's mansion, while his office duties were handled by his clones.

With the Great Pirate Era coming to an end, there were hardly any major events happening.

The only major incident recently might be the tension between the officers returning from their assignments abroad and the CP agents. The two sides nearly came to blows.

After all, these Vice Admirals and Rear Admirals are high-ranking generals with strong tempers. When their money-making ventures are cut off, they're the ones most affected. However, this isn't enough to push them toward murder or rebellion.

Despite their frustrations, justice still prevails, the world's situation is gradually improving, and their wages and benefits are still being paid. Given all this, while there is some dissatisfaction, the situation hasn't escalated to a point of rebellion.

In the end, it amounted to a lot of noise with little action, not causing any significant trouble that couldn't be managed.

Akira, taking a break from training, was aware of this situation. But he chose to remain silent.

This outcome was expected. At this stage, everything is too rushed, and the timing isn't right. To succeed in a rebellion, not only would the high-level combat power need to multiply several times, but the Marine and World Government would have to be completely separated.

Therefore, Akira only ordered Vice Admiral Tsuru, the returning chief of staff, to cooperate with CP9, take over the business dealings, shut down most of Rehabilitation, and hand over assets to the franchise country Akatsuki. They also began selling off mafia-related industries.

Of course, Akira managed some of these things in secret. For example, in the mafia business, he directly contacted Lu Feld, the God of Fortune, and arranged for him to take over at a low price.

The Bertomy Passion Kingdom remained under Akira and Marine's control, with the queen of it being Akira's ally. Marine intended to use the kingdom as a foothold to further their presence in the New World, and the Five Elders had no objections.

All in all, everything seemed to be progressing toward the results the Five Elders desired.

However, the atmosphere at Marine Headquarters, Marineford, had gradually become tense. In the past, officers and soldiers would carry smiles on their faces, but lately, everyone's mood has been affected. Their faces now showed frustration and indignation.

In the middle of the night.

The sound of two heavy footsteps echoed through the empty streets.

As the moonlight pierced through the shadows, the figures of Akira and Sengoku emerged.

It was clear that the two had just come from an intense training session. Their bodies still radiated heat, and a few bruises were visible here and there.

"You..."

Sengoku hesitated for a moment as they walked side by side. Finally, unable to hold back, he asked, "Is there really no plan to do something about this?"

"Are you talking about the Five Elders reclaiming all of Marine's assets?" Akira asked, his voice calm as he enjoyed the cool evening breeze, not bothering to look back.

At this point in Marine affairs, that was the only issue heavy enough to trouble Sengoku, making it easy for Akira to guess his concern.

"Yes! If you've got a plan, just give the order," Sengoku responded earnestly, his expression serious.

To be honest, some of Akira's recent behavior was baffling to Sengoku. After all, the assets taken back by the Five Elders were originally established by Akira himself. By all logic, he should've been the one most upset by this.

Yet, during this whole period, Akira had been the most relaxed person in the Marine, even more carefree than the lower-ranked soldiers who were far angrier about the situation than he was.

"Plan?" Akira paused in his steps.
