One Piece : Herald of the Abyss

Chapter 10: Chapter 10 : “Setting the Sail”

The early morning sun bathes Syrup Village in a golden light as Kael arrives at the shipwright's workshop. The massive vessel, now fully completed, gleams ominously under the sunlight. Its black hull seems to absorb the light, the intricate carvings of dragons along the sides giving it an almost otherworldly presence.

The shipwright stands at the dock, arms crossed, a mix of pride and trepidation on his face.

Shipwright : "There she is. The finest ship I've ever built. Reinforced with adam wood, fitted with the best sails and rigging. She'll cut through the seas like a blade."

Kael steps forward, his gaze fixed on the ship. He places a hand on the smooth hull, the cold surface a stark contrast to the rising warmth of the day.

Kael : "A fitting vessel for the storm to come."

The shipwright clears his throat, breaking the moment.

Shipwright : "She's all yours now. But you'd better take care of her. A ship like this deserves respect."

Kael nods, then tosses a small pouch of gold coins to the shipwright.

Kael : "You've earned it. Consider this payment for your loyalty and skill."

The shipwright catches the pouch, surprised by its weight.

Shipwright : "Don't know if I should thank you or curse you. Either way... good luck out there."

.

Kael steps aboard the ship, taking a moment to explore its deck. His boots echo against the polished wood as he moves to the helm. He looks out at the vast ocean ahead, the breeze tugging at his cloak.

Kael : "A name... Every ship needs one. Something that reflects its purpose."

He thinks for a moment, then his lips curl into a rare smirk.

Kael : "From this day forward, you shall be the Abyss Tempest. The harbinger of chaos."

The villagers gather at a distance, watching silently as Kael's crew of hired sailors untie the ropes and prepare the Abyss Tempest for departure. Fear and relief mingle in their expressions.

As the ship begins to pull away from the dock, the shipwright shouts after him.

Shipwright : "Hey! Where are you headed next?"

Kael glances back, his purple eyes gleaming.

Kael : "To the horizon. Wherever chaos calls."

Shipwright : "God's help whoever crosses his path."

Suddenly there's a voice behind the Shipwright

Voice : "Shipwright Ken, you need to come with us" a cold voice sounded

Shipwright Ken : "Huh… Who are you?

On the Sea

As the Abyss Tempest glides through the waters, Kael stands at the bow, the wind whipping through his hair. He looks ahead, his expression hard and resolute.

Purple energy crackles faintly around his hands as he grips the railing. The horizon stretches infinitely before him, a canvas waiting to be painted with destruction and conquest.

As night falls, Kael stands alone on the deck, the stars above reflecting in the dark ocean below. The crew gives him a wide berth, sensing the weight of his presence.

Kael gazes at the sky, his purple eyes burning with purpose.

At Navy Headquarters Marineford

Marineford, Fleet Admiral Kong slams his fist on a table as he reads the latest report.

The warm, oppressive air of Marineford feels heavier than usual. The news of Kael Draymour's departure from Syrup Village reaches the higher echelons of Marine command in mere hours. Fleet Admiral Kong stands at the head of a long table, his face dark and full of concern. His fists grip the edge of the table, knuckles white.

Fleet Admiral Kong : "He's left Syrup Village and taken to the seas. That ship of his... It's already been sighted. We need to contain him before he becomes unstoppable!"

Across from him, Admiral Sengoku stands with his arms folded, his sharp gaze unwavering.

Admiral Sengoku : "We can't underestimate him. The reports we received from Garp confirmed Kael's power. His Devil Fruit abilities, his strength, even the way he fought back against Garp... he's no ordinary pirate."

Fleet Admiral Kong : "We know that! But the bigger issue is this: he isn't just a threat to the Marines. He's a threat to the entire world. The moment his name reaches the other pirates, the seas will descend into an all-out war. He's not building alliances, Sengoku. He's sowing chaos."

Marine officers rush to prepare a response. A large map of the Grand Line and the surrounding seas is spread out across the table, with Kael's last known location marked in red ink.

Marine officers : "Sir, we've confirmed Kael's ship has set sail from Syrup Village. If he's heading toward the Grand Line, we'll have no choice but to mobilize a full force. We can't risk letting him gain a foothold."

Vice Admiral Tsuru : "We need strategy. We cannot afford to underestimate this pirate. Let's be sure we gather intel before rushing in headfirst. If Kael truly does have the ability to summon a dragon, rushing in might be the last thing we want to do."

Fleet Admiral Kong : "Alright, you monitor his activity… im going to report this to the higher up" order Kong

Vice Admiral Tsuru : " Yes Sir" Salute Tsuru

On the Sea

As the Abyss Tempest sails further going to Loguetown, Kael stands at the helm, his expression cold and calculating. His purple eyes fix on the horizon, knowing the Marines are already plotting his capture.

The wind picks up, the Abyss Tempest cutting through the waters with terrifying speed, its black sails billowing in the storm of chaos that Kael has begun to create.

A Couple Days Later

At Holy Land Mariejoa, Pangea Castle

Inside the massive chambers of the Five Elders, the high-ranking leaders of the World Government, the tension in the air is palpable. The room, located deep within the Pangaea Castle, is adorned with marble columns and intricate carvings, but the mood is far from serene. Seated in their high-backed chairs, the Five Elders maintain their stoic composure, their eyes fixed on Kong.

At the far end of the room, Fleet Admiral Kong stands, his posture rigid and his expression hard. His fists are clenched at his sides as he addresses the Five Elders. The room feels like an oppressive weight pressing down on him, but his tone is unwavering.

Fleet Admiral Kong : "Esteemed Elders, the situation with Kael Draymour has escalated beyond our control. The reports from Marineford are unsettling, he's no longer confined to the East Blue."

The Five Elders remain silent, their faces unreadable, as the weight of Kong's words sinks in. Finally, one of the Elders, the one with a long, flowing white beard, Saint Markus Mars, speaks.

Saint Mars : "Continue, Kong."

Kong's expression hardens further as he recounts the events.

Fleet Admiral Kong : "Let me explain the true nature of Kael Draymour's power, Elders... It's not just his sheer strength or the threat of his actions; it's the Devil Fruit he possesses that makes him a force unlike any we've faced before, This fruit grants him the ability to transform into a dragon, a creature of nightmare."

The Five Elders exchange sharp, concerned glances. The one with the hat,Saint Jay Garcia Saturn leans forward, his voice tinged with skepticism.

Saint Saturn : "A dragon, you say? We've heard rumors of such fruits, but to see one manifest so... fully, is unexpected. What does this power entail?"

Kong takes a deep breath, his mind returning to the terrifying vision of Kael's dragon form, the power that had surged from him during his battle with Vice Admiral Garp.

Fleet Admiral Kong : "Kael's dragon form is... unlike anything we've encountered. It's a nightmare brought to life, black-scaled, with transparent ribs glowing with purple light. The flames it breathes are not just fire; they're like nothing any normal flame would be capable of. They burn with an otherworldly heat, a destructive force that could ravage entire fleets."

One of the Elders,Saint Ethanbaron V.Nusjuro, narrows his eyes, clearly disturbed by the implications.

Saint Ethanbaron : "Purple flames? Is that how he managed to damage Garp's ship? The Vice Admiral reported heavy damage, but we believed that the Galaxy Impact could withstand any opponent."

Fleet Admiral Kong : "That's the problem. Kael's attack was so powerful, so relentless, that even Garp's Galaxy Impact couldn't stop him quickly. The flames were so intense, The intensity was off the charts."

The room falls into silence for a long moment, the Elders clearly disturbed by what Kong has just revealed. Finally, the Elder with the short gray hair speaks, Saint Sheperd Ju Peter, his tone more direct than the others.

Saint Ju Peter : "Do you believe Garp could have defeated him if given more time, Kong? Or do we face a situation where the Marine forces are not enough?"

Kong hesitates for a moment, his thoughts drifting back to the battle report

Fleet Admiral Kong : "Kael's power is beyond conventional understanding. He's not just fighting to conquer... he's fighting to reshape the world. His control over that dragon form is terrifying, and it's only a matter of time before the full extent of his power comes to light."

Kong is thinking carefully about Kael's true intentions.

Fleet Admiral Kong : "Kael isn't like other pirates. He's not seeking treasure or fame. He's driven by something deeper, something darker. He wants to bring chaos to the world, to unravel the very fabric of order. "

Saint Ethanbaron : "Then we cannot allow him to succeed. If what you say is true, Kael Draymour must be eliminated before he becomes an unstoppable force. We cannot afford to take any chances."

Kong bows his head, the weight of the mission falls squarely on his shoulders.

Fleet Admiral Kong : "Understood. I'll ensure that we deploy every asset we have to neutralize him."

With a final, silent nod, Kong turns and exits the chamber, the doors closing behind him with a heavy thud. The Five Elders remain seated, their faces grim as they discuss their next steps in hushed voices.

On the Sea near Loguetown

Meanwhile, aboard the Abyss Tempest, Kael stands at the helm, the storm clouds gathering above. He feels the weight of his actions, knowing that both the Marines and the pirates are now after him. But within him, there is a fire and a drive that cannot be extinguished.

Kael : "The world is about to burn... and I will be the one to light the flames."

As the Abyss Tempest sails ever onward, Kael's journey into the heart of chaos is just beginning.
