"Hmm? Sir, there is a pirate ship heading straight for us! Should we sink it?"

Inside the magnificent ship, a group of nobles were celebrating their upcoming victory, completely unaware of the dire situation unfolding outside.

"Oh? That pirate is bold enough to enter enemy territory alone?"

A noble asked casually, swirling the wine in his glass.

Their confidence came from the two warships flanking them, providing protection.

"Tsk! Status? Whoever catches her first gets her!"

"That's right! Whoever captures her, keeps her!"

The nobles began arguing over the girl.

But soon, their quarrel turned into a bidding war.

"Soldiers! Capture her! Whoever succeeds, I'll pay one million Berries!"

"That's nothing! Two million Berries!"

"Three million!"

"Three million and one hundred thousand!"

"Four million!"

"Four million and one hundred thousand!"

"Damn it! Are you doing this on purpose?!"

The nobles started shouting and flipping tables, their petty squabble escalating.

"Prepare for battle!"

The major general asked, examining her swordsmanship.

"I am Rockefeller Esdeath, eldest daughter of the Rockefeller family!"

Esdeath dodged the enemy's slash, retaliating with her rapier.

"What?! Rockefeller Charlotte's daughter?!"

The major general's expression changed instantly.

He hadn't expected this young girl to be the daughter of the world's greatest swordsman—one of the four legendary pirates of the New World!

"Little girl, this is no place for you."

"For the sake of your father, I will allow you to leave unharmed."

The major general deflected Esdeath's rapier, stepping back, showing mercy.

"Bastard! We are enemies!"

Esdeath's anger flared as the general dismissed her strength.

She flipped her Holy Sanction upside down, rushing forward.

At the last second, she leaped three meters high, slashing down.

Clang!

Another metallic clash echoed.

"As expected of the daughter of the world's greatest swordsman!"

The major general admired her skill.

"Don't underestimate me! You're nothing special, General!"

Esdeath lashed out, her rapier striking in quick succession.

The major general was forced back, his footing faltering.

"I envy you for having a master swordsman as a teacher!"

"But your father's skills won't save you in this fight!"

Esdeath knew she was at a disadvantage in raw power, so she relied on speed, precision, and technique, avoiding direct confrontations.

"Stop talking nonsense!"

Esdeath's rage ignited.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Their weapons clashed relentlessly.

The general remained composed, while Esdeath began panting, struggling to keep up.

"What?! Esdeath is missing?!"

Charlotte's roar shook the study room as he glared at Jenny, who was crying before him.

"Master! Find Esdeath!"

"I've been searching for her for two days, but she's nowhere to be found!"

Jenny clutched Charlotte's arm, tears streaming down her face.

"Don't worry! I'll send someone to look for her!"

Charlotte waved his hand, ordering Ivan to search the entire island.

But after hours of searching, there was still no trace of Esdeath.

"Boss! Do you think Miss Esdeath left with Barrett?"

After analyzing the timeline, Ivan hesitated before speaking.

"You mean Barrett took her away?!"

"Boss! I think it's possible."

"The young lady disappeared at the same time Barrett set sail. But from what I know of Barrett, he wouldn't bring Esdeath along. However… it's possible she snuck aboard."

Ivan stated his theory.

"Call Barrett! Find out if Esdeath is with him!"

Charlotte ordered immediately.

As Ivan left, Charlotte clenched his fists.

Esdeath was always the most obedient.

But he had underestimated her wild nature.

"Useless!"

BANG!

Charlotte slammed the table, shattering it into splinters.

Two days.

It took two days before he even realized she was missing.

If someone had kidnapped her, they could be anywhere by now.

The vast ocean would make her impossible to track.

Then, suddenly—

"Life card!"

Charlotte remembered the special paper unique to the New World.

He would find her.

"Boss! There's news!"

Ivan came running back, excited.

"Miss Esdeath is with Barrett! He confirmed that she snuck aboard in a crate and wasn't discovered until they were already at sea!"

Charlotte's expression darkened.

"Prepare a ship! We're bringing her back."
