One Piece: Beyond The Norm

Running through the forest, Nyx was seen brutalizing multiple monstrous animals as his figure no longer looked the same as before. It has been more than 5 years since he arrived in this world. Nyx has been training fervently ever since then, stacking up his stats and building himself to a certain level.

"Hm, the only Racial Traits I have are HellFire, Ancient Strength and King Kong Physique but that's enough to make me rule all of the four blues currently. 

HellFire was basically a logia without the weakness of the sea and seastone, Ancient Strength gave me divine physical strength surpassing regular pirates by a mile bordering that of Giant whereas the King Kong Physique was like a nerfed Steel Balloon Physique! 

Though, it was still amazingly powerful, granting me powerful strength and near impenetrable defenses which, when combined with Ancient Strength, developed to something abnormally powerful.

Of course the more I collected traits that are similar to these the higher the chances of them evolving into even more powerful skills, far surpassing their original counterparts."

It was true. Thanks to the system, Nyx was basically rewriting his biological DNA, becoming something beyond what a human could be. 

In the past year not only has he collected the traits and bloodlines of all sorts of beasts but he has also garnered information through the system as well. 

With the change of his DNA coming to be throughout the year, his height grew to a shocking 6 foot 5 inches despite being only fourteen. 

Though he never understood why the bloodlines affected him despite it being sealed. However he trusted that it was all part of the system and was only sealed for a period of time. 

As of currently, his tall and muscular figure stood amongst the slaughter of monsters as in his hands grasped a large and mystifying scythe which was awarded to him by the system. 

His face and body now looked sculpted, as though his beauty and physique were crafted within Ancient Greece amongst the very Gods themselves. 

His hair long and white fluttered gracefully with the passing breeze whereas his blue eyes shone with a chilling light. 

Covering his face and body were mythical looking tattoos brought about by his intake of varying bloodlines and racial traits. He was truly a sight to look at.

Inhaling deeply his gaze shifted to the deep and crowded trees, gazing towards them as though he saw beyond. 

And so he did. With his Observation Haki being utilized at the moment he saw the entirety of the area he looked into and beyond, ultimately focusing his vision towards the Island he had peered into a year ago. 

Albeit, at that time he wasn't as strong as he was currently so he couldn't see it properly but now? He saw it a lot clearer than before.

He smiled coolly as he turned around and vanished into the opposite direction using Primal Soru. In the next moment, he appeared next to a large ship. 

If one were to see this ship they would be extremely surprised as this ship belonged to no pirate nor merchant. This was a ship belonging to the very feared yet respected Marines also known as the "Justice System" utilized by the World Government in order to enforce their authority and oppress the "evil" they so scorn.

Now you may be wondering, "Nyx what the fuck are you doing with that troublesome thing?!"

Well allow me to enlighten you—

[Flashback]

Three years ago on the day Nyx turned twelve, a passing Marine ship stumbled upon his Island. From the bushes a not so tall figure crouched and examined the approaching ship as they dropped their anchor and was reeled into the shore by the incoming waves. Examining the ship, Nyx, the figure who hid his entire presence within the bushes noticed that the flag, mast, and flooring of the ship had all been damaged as though the ship itself had barely managed to escape a rough battle.

Atop the ship stood several marine officers led by what Nyx assumed to be a Marine Captain. Though he wasn't wearing the usual trench coat which spoke of one's rank, Nyx could tell for sure that this man was of Captain Rank. His instincts and Observation Haki would never deceive him.

And so as they were silently inspected by the young Nyx, they boarded the sandy shores of the Island gazing into Dawn Escape, the large jungle that inhabited nearly the entire Island.

"Captain Vizer, this island should be Anomaly Road, the island that housed multiple strange and bizarre creatures!"

An official stepped and stood at attention, saluting Captain Vizer as he reported. Hearing this information, Captain Vizer, a man wrapped in several bandages, tall and muscular with a scar running across his nose horizontally raised an eyebrow as he reached into his shirt's pocket retrieving a cigar.

Lighting the cigar, he took a long puff before turning to the Marine Official and asking, "Why is an Island that sounds like it should be in Paradise laying out here in the East Blue? And why haven't I been told of this before?" 

Truly, an island like Anomaly Road sounded as though it belonged in the Grand Line. He couldn't help but grow curious and slightly concerned. Why hadn't he even heard of this island? The Marine Official adjusted the paperwork in hand as he once again spoke in a much respectful tone.

"Sir! This island along with many others hasn't been a hot topic since Rock's Era. Apparently after his fall there were several natural disasters that came the following days after along with the natural disruption of several things in the world. 

One of those things were the islands of all the seas. The World Government has been secretly operating on these incidents ever since yet have not uncovered any logical explanation for these changes!"

"Hoh? This kind of information.. How did you get it?!"

"S-Sir..! During a meeting of the Vice Admirals, Admirals and Fleet Admirals I was summoned to fix and distribute tea and snacks for all those high ranking staff members. 

But at the time that I did arrive there was a rather concerning dispute between some of them which had escalated rather quickly to something chaotic. 

Yet during that escalation I saw a pile of documents that piqued my interest. Thinking that it would be of use to you I duplicated them using my Devil Fruit's ability and left easily under the noses of those in the meeting room!"

Hearing this, Captain Vizer couldn't help but be shocked. Staring wide-eyed at his reporting subordinate, Vizer didn't know what to think of these actions. By the righteous and upright Marines, this was a rather severe crime and was punishable by stripping away one's rank and imprisonment. 

But by the ruthlessness of others, it was seen as an opportunity!

And luckily for that Marie Official, it was Captain Vizer's nature. He smiled brightly while patting his shoulder.

"Well done Bordo! I'll make sure to compensate you for this! After all, we can definitely make a killing by selling this in the Underworld!"

Hearing his Captain's words, Bordo couldn't help but feel relieved, excited even! Thinking about his future wealth, Bordo's imagination went wild! Of course, it was soon cut short as Vizer suddenly shouted to his gathering men.

"Men! Do not enter no further than the first layer of this forest! Gather wood and look for the relatively weaker monsters to hunt! For the next three days we shall focus on recuperating and patching up our ship! Is that clear?!"

"Yes, Captain Vizer-san!"

And so the men scattered and went into the forest, approaching cautiously as they brandished their swords and drew their guns. As all of this played out Nyx monitored them as though he was a hungry wolf stalking its prey, hiding no amount of killing intent.

To him, this was of utmost disrespect. Approaching onto his Island! Willing to use his forest without his consent?! How dare they! As if they even knew he fucking selfishly claimed the damn thing!

[Soru!]

Swish!

[Shigan!]

[Eruption!]

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Nyx who vanished like the wind and appeared behind the cautious marines lashed out with his combined move of Shigan and Eruption, sending out piercing fist shaped winds that were extremely concentrated, piercing the hearts of all those marines silently.

Thud!

Thud! 

Thud!

The bodies dropped in a simultaneous manner that drew the attention of the Captain. With his near burnt out cigar, he walked towards the sound as his Observation Haki extended out. It was then that his steps halted. His eyes widened as he saw his soldiers lay lifeless with fist sized holes at their hearts.

"W-what the—"

Swish!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Thud! x4

Rushing to the next area of these now frightening sounds he once again encountered the very same scene that had left him stunned from the beginning. Sweat now covered his forehead by the bucket whereas his eyes were widened to the extreme, fear and shock gripping his mind.

Yet, he was a Marine Captain! He was Captain Vizer dammit! He wouldn't let his men fall like this! And so he pulled back immediately as his body vanished from the overwhelmingly large trees!

Appearing outside, back where he had arrived, Captain Vizer unleashed a well rehearsed shout, gathering his remaining men in an instant!

"Men! Retreat! Retreat! There's an unknown enemy amongst the bushes and trees!" 

Immediately a squadron of men returned, however compared to before, they were now a pebble of their former glory. Gathering only a total of 43 men! Seeing the amount, Vizer gritted his teeth in frustration as he realized the enemy's fierceness!

"Bordo! Use your duplication on me!" 

"Yes, Captain Vizer!"

"Double Trouble: Act One!" 

With a rather comical shout from Bordo, a grey ray of power flashed and covered Captain Vizer in an instant, splitting his body into two identical beings that wielded nearly the same level of power! Haki shone on both Vizers' bodies as their figures rushed towards the forest. 

Yet under all the watchful gazes of his men and Bordo, a powerful gust of compressed wind flew out, blasting their figures out backwards to where they came from.

Swoosh!

BANG!

"Captains!"

"Captain Vizers!"

"Hey what the hell was that?!"

The gathered marines along with Bordo grew wide eyed at the jaw dropping scene. They couldn't fathom what was going on at the moment. Just a moment ago they were on a perilous escape from the Grandline and now? They practically felt as though they hadn't left the damned hellish sea!

Followed by the blast of wind, a shadow flew out of the trees landing at the center of where the two captains had once stood.

"A Devil Fruit capable of duplication? It could even be applied to living people? Now that's an interesting find. Grarararara!!"

A deep and sharp edged voice resounded, followed by a terrifyingly jagged laugh, the owner standing at an impressive height that made the average person look small. His figure was packed with tightly sculpted muscles, tattoos that covered both his face and body yet unable to detest his beauty, merely enhancing it. Whereas his white hair, spiky and defiant flowed against the wind.

"W-who the hell are you!?"

Asked Bordo and marines in a rather comical unison. A feral grin crept onto Nyx's face as a blue flame rose around him as he stared into their eyes.

[Soru!]

[Ring of Incineration!]

Crackle!

SWOOSH!

Giving none an answer, Nyx used his Primal Soru as he beamed towards the marines with a ferocious onslaught. 

As he did so rings of HellFire sprung to life, surrounding the marines and encompassing their bodies whole. 

Wasting no time and waiting for not even the Captain to recover, Nyx ignored the screaming marines that eventually turned into charred corpses under his flames and rushed towards Vizer. His hands darkened with Armament Haki as blue flames took over them adding an extra layer of offensive power. 

[Eruption!]

BOOM!

The flaming fist pierced the heart of Captain Vizer's main body as with its death, the duplicated one perished as well.

"Sigh, such weak trash." 

Behind, the remaining Bordo was horrified as he watched one man slaughter his entire marine force, his comrades in arms! Looking at the man responsible for this slaughter, a chill rushed down his spine as he turned to run! 

'Flee! Flee! I NEED TO FLEE—"

[Eruption]

VWOOM!

BANG!

[End of Flashback]

And that ladies and gentlemen, is how Nyx acquired this marine ship! Through hard work and dedicated brute force!

Hard work of fucking destruction that is! But ah so be it, such was life of course. Staring at the former marine ship, Nyx gazed back at his home one more time before leaping onto the ship and preparing himself to sail towards his dreams.

Reading himself he smiled devilishly before he finally unfurled his flags. The moment he did that, his boat immediately picked up with the gust of wind that came, gliding into the horizon with the loving aid of the ocean's rising waves.

"Grararara! World, here I come!!!"
