One More Second for My Daughter.

Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Mommy is Light Novel Writer.

Although Wu shen appreciate the fact that Mai showed herself in the classroom and distract Utaha's attention away from him, he needs to educate her to avoid any problems that might come after.

Otherwise, there is a possibility that his sweet daughter may be kidnapped by a pervert, he can't imagine what he would do in that situation.

"Because there is nothing to do at home. I also wanted to see how daddy and mommy fall in love," Mai said with absolute confidence, and not a hint of regret in her tone. "I also wanted to see how mommy was like when she was young!"

"I don't think there is a problem roblem with kids being more lively... But why is your personality and Utaha san's so different?" Wu Shen couldn't help but ask with an exhausted sigh.

'Also, What's up with falling in love? My daughter is too knowledgeable!!'

"By the way daddy, how is your progress so fast." Mai asked excitedly with a twinkle on her eyes. "As expected of daddy, complementing mommy about her legs immediately, do you get mommy's charm now???!!!"

The corner of Wu shen's mouth twitch.

"...It was just an accident.... Ooh! Mai, I wanted to ask how I met Utaha in the future you came from?"

Wu Shen currently has zero clue how he should conquer kasumigaoka Utaha, but if he could get any hint from the future, he might be able to devise a plan to combat this issue.

Mai stayed silent for a while, her pout getting bigger as the time went by.

'What is this incredibly adorable little creature?' Wu shen thought, poking her cotton like cheeks.

"Daddy and Mommy always act affectionate with each other in front of me, but when I ask things daddy never tell me clearly anything because he said children are not supposed to know of it." Mai said, moving her head to the side and her small shoulders shook.

"Good Job Future me..."

Wu Shen hid his face, but he also breathed a sigh of relief.

"Hmmph... I don't know Then!" Mai exclaimed, crossing her arms with a dissatisfied looks on her face.

"Even on your wedding anniversary, every time Daddy wanted to tell me about the past, Mommy would pull him back into the room with a flushed face, and then you did something I don't know."

'Oh oh... M-my future self, good luck.'

After saying that, Mai curled her lips angrily: "Even when I tried to listen what happened inside the room, daddy already turned it into a soundproof room so I couldn't understand anything!"

'Thank Fucking God.' Wu Shen was genuinely tweaking at this moment.

"The only thing I know for certain is that my parents met because of a light novel."

"Novel?"

After hearing Mai's suggestion, Wu Shen was reminded of Kasumigaoka Utaha's habit of always reading novels in class.

Oh hoh! Now he understand how he could establish a relationship.

"Daddy don't know right?" Mai's eyes suddenly lit up.

"Don't know what?"

"Mommy is a very popular author in the future, and her novel has been adapted into several anime." She explained enthusiastically.

Her whole behaviour shouts that she thoroughly admired her mother.

'Hmm, anime adaptation? Is Kasumigaoka Utaha writing a light novel? That's so random." As a proud otaku himself, Wu Shen was more than happy that his future wife could write a good light novel.

But, it was quite difficult for him to imagine that the usually dignified, elegant, and solitary girl was secretly a closet geek who have a penchant for ACG culture and write a light novel herself.

What kind of revelation was this? Doesn't this basically increase her charms to it's absolute limit?

Anyway, this was an essential information to conquer her.

"What is Utaha's debut work then? Have you any idea Mai?"

Hearing his questions, Mai struck the thinking pose for a moment, trying to recall the name.

But because she couldn't recall it quickly, she break her stance, pressing her head with both of her hands and squeezing it around, as if to press the information out of her little head.

Wu shen enjoyed the sight quite a bit—smiling to himself.

"Aaaaahhh! Finally Remember! Mommy's debut work was released when she was still in high school, it's called 'Love Metronome', maybe it's already been released."

After he received the essential details, Wu Shen sends Mai home quickly, and he himself returned to the classroom, finally staying awake until the end of class at around 3:30 pm.

After hurriedly parting ways with Tomoya and Hideki, Wu Shen rushed to a bookstore that was close to the school

As a proud Otaku, Wu Shen has read many light novels.

Before he came abroad to Japan, Wu Shen bought many original light novels to practice history reading, though his reading skills is still stagnant.

But having a clost friend like Tomoya who was practically glued to a light novel, Wu Shen also pays close attention to the newcomer award debut light novels in each issue of major libraries.

Every now and then he will go to the bookstore to see the new release as a result, or browse the high-quality products recommended by Hideki.

Even then, he didn't recall the work "Love Metronome" from his recent memory.

Mai stated that her works were very popular and she was considered one of the most promising newcomer when she debuted.

So why haven't he the slightest clue? Have he missed this before?

Maybe it was a new work that is released in the last few days?

With so many unanswered questions, Wu Shen entered the bookstore.

To be honest, the location of this bookstore was not too desirable for business.

There was a busy shopping street just a few steps away, not too far, but the place was still a bit of a distance away in an inconspicuos alley from there.

Beside the simple ramen shop on the opposite side, there was nothing else that would attract any attention.

Well, it didn't matter too much to wu shen anyway, since he prefer the quieter and more peaceful place.

It was also because the old lady that ran this place was still pretty quick with selling that Wu Shen could always browse through quickly.

This place sold all the newly released first-hand books of all kinds, and of course, light novels were no exception.

Looking at the dazzling array of books on the neatly organized shelves, Wu Shen walked towards the new book display at the light novel counter and started looking for a new book called "Love Metronome".

However, even after looking through them all, he couldn't find the novel with this name.

Unwilling to just give up, Wu Shen searched through all the bookshelves again, but he couldn't find anything still.

With no other choice, Wu Shen had no choice but to go to the cashier and ask the store owner if she had any idea about this book.

When he approached the counter quickly, his line of sight was blocked by the bookshelf in front of him, and he accidentally bumped into another person.

Although neither of them fell, the books in the other's hands were scattered across the floor. Wu Shen quickly bent down to help pick it up.

"Sorry, I didn't notice anyone in front of me."

Upon picking up the fallen book, Wu Shen lowered his head and apologized.

"It's okay, I was also walking in a hurry."
