Chapter 29: Chapter 29:Little sister

Sitting alone in his cabin, Viltz grasped an oval crystal in his hands.

Pouring his energy into the crystal, his consciousness was sucked into it in a way that reminded him of the process he went through every time he used his evil eye to spy on a world.

Opening his eyes, Viltz's consciousness found himself floating inside a large library.

Exploring the place some more, Viltz discovered that there were approximately a hundred shelves filled with all kinds of books.

Grabbing a book at random, Viltz began to read it, quickly losing himself in the reading.

Unbeknownst to him, he had spent an hour reading and as he was about to grab another book to read, his consciousness was expelled from the glass.

Rubbing his temples, Viltz reflected to himself.

"It looks like i can hold out for an hour before my consciousness runs out.

This may confirm my conjectures about the Evil Eye."

Pulling out his grimoire, Viltz wrote on an empty page.

"Evil Eye."

"Description: Ivar's left eye Evil Eye mutated in a mysterious way during his transformation into a witcher and gave him the ability to establish a mysterious connection with other nearby worlds and receive certain information from them.

Level 1: The eye is in an unstable state and passively attracts various images from other worlds into the wearer's consciousness.

Level 2: The eye is in a controllable state due to chaos energy.

It no longer projects random images into the mind of its wearer.

Now the eye can create a kind of link to the various worlds and allows the wearer to transfer his consciousness through this link and connect directly to the world, being able to see what is going on inside it as if he were physically there.

Theory 1: The eye can mutate once again if it comes into contact with the Elder Blood.

Theory 2: There could be another Ivar in another parallel universe whose mutation occurred in his right eye and not his left, if both Evil Eyes can be brought together, they could result in a strengthening or even an evolution.

Viltz finished writing and fell asleep.

After two days of sailing, the ship finally arrived in the city of Lan Exeter.

Getting off the ship, Viltz stretched languidly and let out a yawn.

After wandering around for a while, he entered a tavern and asked the owner to serve him breakfast.

While the owner was busy preparing breakfast, Viltz took the opportunity and quickly went up to the second floor of the tavern, where he established the coordinates of a portal, when he finished, he quietly returned to his table and sat down to wait for breakfast.

Finishing breakfast, Viltz called the waiter and asked for a glass of water, then paid and left the tavern.

With the glass of water still in his hand, Viltz went into an alley and pulled out a dagger, cutting his finger and letting a few drops of blood fall into the water.

As the blood dripped from his finger, Viltz began to recite a spell.

The drops of blood in the water began to gather in a single position until they formed a small ball.

The ball of blood began to move in the water.

Viltz's eyes contracted and he frowned. "Only one direction? I guess one of them died."

Viltz grabbed the glass and began to move, changing direction each time the ball of blood moved.

This was a spell that allowed the caster to detect the position of those who shared his bloodline within a 10 km radius.

After walking for a while, Viltz arrived in front of the entrance of a ramshackle, low-quality brothel.

A middle-aged prostitute wearing exaggerated makeup blew Viltz a flying kiss and flashed one of her breasts, something he completely ignored.

Opening the brothel door, all traces of emotion disappeared from his face, leaving only a mask of cold indifference.

Seeing him enter, a bald man full of muscles shot him a mocking glance and was about to throw a sneer at Viltz when Viltz turned to look at him.

His eyes, devoid of any human emotion made the man feel as if he were in the presence of a beast that would attack at the slightest sign of provocation.

The man was not stupid, he knew that the look in the eyes of this man in front of him was not a normal look, it was the look of a killer ready to kill.

Feeling somewhat frightened, the man pretended to ignore Viltz and went back to hugging the woman in his arms, pretending that nothing had happened.

Viltz ignored the guy and looked in the direction pointed by the drop of blood, which kept jumping up and down, indicating that his target was upstairs.

Climbing up to the second floor, Viltz scanned his eyes over the various closed doors from which sounds of screaming and moaning came from time to time.

Pinning his eyes on one particular door, Viltz took a deep breath and determination appeared on his face, raising his foot high, he slammed it into the door, kicking it open.

"BAM!"

The door flew out, crashing into the wall.

Scanning the room with his eyes, Viltz frowned, checking the glass in his hand again, he saw that the drop of blood pointed in the direction of the bed.

Viltz reached down and pulled a small foot from under the bed.

Looking at the little thing in front of him, Viltz frowned even harder.

"A boy? Will the spell be wrong?"

"I'm...I'm a girl..." Whispered the little thing hanging upside down as its green eyes met Viltz's.

"A girl? Tell me, what's your name? What happened to your hair and eyebrows? And what are you doing in a place like this?" growled Viltz, the malnourished and hairless girl in front of him reminded him of his situation before he was reincarnated, bringing back unpleasant memories.

Setting the girl down, Viltz looked at her intently as he waited for her response.

The girl had the same emerald green eyes as Viltz, not a single hair on her head or eyebrows, her skin was extremely pale, the clothes she wore consisted of worn and tattered gray shorts and t-shirt.

The girl looked down and responded, somewhat frightened by the cold aura of the man in front of her.

"Sir, i don't have a name, Mistress Samantha said i don't need a name."

Viltz frowned even more and said," Go on, where is your hair and more importantly, where are your parents?"

The little girl raised her head in confusion and asked, "Parents? I don't have parents. Mrs. Samantha said so. Ms. Samantha punished me the other day because i inadvertently messed up a customer and she cut off my hair and eyebrows."

Looking at the girl's expression, talking about the abuse she was receiving all this time as if it was the most normal thing in the world, Viltz didn't know how to react for a moment.

Looking at the drop of blood jumping endlessly inside the glass, Viltz's gaze became doubtful.

"What should i do? It's a danger to let him live, if he grows up he will surely spread our bloodline everywhere in the future."

Originally Viltz came to Lan Exeter City to kill that excuse for parents that brought him to this world, it wasn't for some kind of stupid revenge or anything, some powerful wizards could curse someone using their blood relatives and he didn't want some future enemy of his to use something similar to deal with him.

He originally came to exterminate them and let his bloodline endure only through himself, but looking at the little girl who looked to be no more than 5 years old in front of him, he suddenly hesitated and questioned himself.

"Shit, am i really going to do it? Kill my own sister just as a precaution? I have to cross that line and kill an innocent girl just because of my paranoia? Can i become as cruel as that person? Do i have to use such dirty methods just to guarantee my future? Do i have to become the same scum i hate with all my soul? Haaaaa, this is so hard, i feel like a big hypocrite right now."

Looking into the eyes of the little girl in front of him who was looking at him with confusion and some fear, Viltz saw himself reflected in those eyes, and memories of a painful past came to his mind.

He remembered a scared little boy looking at his older brother in fear of the harm his older brother was going to cause him, and now he found himself in the same situation but with the roles reversed, now he was the older brother who wanted to hurt that little girl in front of him.

"If i don't have enough courage to take her life then i will take away her ability to conceive!"

Closing his eyes tightly, Viltz was about to draw his sword and end it all when suddenly something flashed through his mind, striking him like a bolt of lightning.

Opening his eyes like saucers, he looked intently at the girl and asked her solemnly, "Tell me child, why were you hiding under the bed?"

The girl stammered and answered: "Be...Because i felt a great danger, i was afraid and that's why i hid under the bed."

Viltz's eyes glowed and he quickly grabbed the girl's wrist.

He introduced his chaos power into the girl and inspected her entire body.

The girl's body was in very bad condition but Viltz didn't notice that, instead, he noticed the chaos power flowing through her small body.

"As i guessed! This little girl is also a source! Just the power of chaos flowing through her body is almost as great as what i had at her age, if i do that then i don't need to harm her!"

A radiant smile appeared on Viltz's face and the cold aura around him vanished completely, leaving only the serenity that always accompanied him.

"Listen child! My name is Vilgefortz! I'm your older brother, you have a great talent to become a sorceress and i want to teach you personally, gather your things, we're out of here."

"Big brother? But Mistress Samantha won't let me go with you, she told me i couldn't leave the building."

The girl was confused about the situation, she understood almost nothing of what this gentleman in front of her said, she only understood that he wanted to take her away.

"Oh right, i almost forgot." Viltz's eyes flashed coldly and he carried the girl directly in his arms as he climbed up to the third floor of the building.

He found two men guarding the entrance to the floor.

The two men were about to approach Viltz when he waved his hand and the two men shrank to the size of insects.

Before they could react to the sudden change, a foot came from the sky and crushed them, splattering their flesh and blood across the floor.

Viltz passed through the third floor entrance and headed straight for the room at the end.

Throwing a kick, he sent the door flying.

On the other side of the door, an overweight lady was sitting in front of an old desk while eating some kind of roast beef.

The lady stared at Viltz with the skewer of meat still in her mouth, not knowing how to react to the intruder who had just barged into her office.

Viltz smiled coldly at her and waved his hand, hypnotizing the woman instantly.

He didn't need any complicated rituals since the woman was just an ordinary human and he could extract all the information he wanted from her with ease.

Finishing the interrogation, Viltz opened the window and jumped down from the third floor.

The little girl hugged him tightly and closed her eyes in fear.

Viltz conjured up a whirlwind at the last moment that helped him break his fall.

Leaving the alley, Viltz began to wander through the city with the little girl in his arms.
