Chapter 113: Chapter 114: Asia

Inside the abandoned academy building that currently served as the Gremory clan's base of operations, Rias summoned his servants and ordered them earnestly.

"I want you to investigate the new professor, Noah Astaros, and find out everything about him.

But I don't want you to get close to him, I feel he is someone very dangerous.

Especially you, Yuuto, I want you to watch his every move during your classes with him."

"Yes!"

Her servants nodded before leaving the place, leaving Rias alone, who took off her clothes before entering the bathroom to take a shower.

After a couple of days, in the evening, Noah expanded his divine sense and started looking for a certain individual.

After a while, he found his target.

Teleporting inside a house, he came across the scene of a guy with a nasty face licking a light saber while laughing like a pervert at a dismembered corpse.

Wasting no time, he suppressed him with his force field before using a doppler potion to copy his memories, though he didn't transform.

He skipped all the useless memories and focused on the memories related to exorcisms and all the knowledge this guy got from the church.

This guy was a very talented exorcist who actually had no faith towards god and his real goal was just to kill demons for fun.

In the end, he ended up being persecuted by the church and had no choice but to join the fallen angels to pursue his fetish.

Noah absorbed all his knowledge of holy magic, exorcisms and rituals before picking up the gun and sword on the ground.

They were effective weapons against demons.

Then, he implanted a bondage seal on his soul and left a message in his subconscious.

Suddenly, a noise was heard before a young blonde-haired girl entered the room.

Seeing the bloody mess on the floor, her superior lying on the floor unconscious and Noah holding her weapons, the young woman was paralyzed with fear and didn't know how to react.

Noah smiled gently at the barely 17 year old girl before speaking.

"Good evening, Miss Asia."

"Eh?...Oh.... Good evening!"

Asia didn't know how to react anymore and her mind was buzzing.

"Sigh, you must be really scared right now but let me tell you that from this moment on, you don't need to rely on the protection of the fallen angels."

"Hm?"

Asia still didn't quite understand what was going on but before she could react, Noah put a hand on her shoulder before transporting to a villa on the outskirts of the city.

This was their new residence.

"First let me make some tea to calm you down before we talk further."

Noah prepared a tea quickly and five minutes later, he poured a couple of cups on the table.

He took a sip of his tea before explaining.

"I'll put it very simply, as a cleric, you have already come into contact with the supernatural world and as someone who has already been declared a heretic by the church, you have nowhere else to go.

I am someone who likes talented people and I think very highly of you, not only because you have a Sacred Gear but mostly because I like your character.

So I will give you three options, the first is that you join my clan and decide to become a member of my family, the second is that you join the Kuoh Academy.

As long as you are inside the academy I can guarantee your safety but there will be nothing else, if you die outside, you can't blame me.

Especially since you have something very valuable and the fallen angels have a method to extract Sacred Gears from their bearers, I don't need to tell you what would happen if they forcibly extract Twilight Healing from you do I?"

Asia suddenly shuddered.

"The third option is that you can walk out that door and we'll never see each other again."

Noah sipped his tea quietly as he waited for the other party's response.

"Excuse me but you are..."

"Don't worry, I'm not a demon or a fallen angel, I'm a mage and also a Sacred Gear wielder like you."

As he spoke, Noah conjured a fireball before making a red gauntlet appear on his left arm.

"I really think you're someone with potential, I'm creating my own clan and I want you to be a part of it.

If you join me, I will give you resources and knowledge to improve your skills and I will not restrict you in anything you want to do."

Asia thought for a long time before finally nodding slowly.

Since Noah wasn't a demon, it meant she would still be human and how she could protect her and help her improve her skills, the best option for her right now was obvious.

Noah smiled before pulling out his magic gourd.

Lana and Magna suddenly appeared, startling Asia, who didn't know how a pumpkin could make people come out from inside it.

"Ahem! Listen to me.

As of today, the fourth member of the Astaros clan will be Asia, she will drop her previous surname and her new name will be Asia Astaros."

The two fixed their eyes directly on the young blonde seated on the other side of the table.

Magna gave her a soft smile while Lena went straight over to hug her and play with her as if she were a toy, apparently she was excited to have a little sister to play with.

Noah motioned for Lena to stop for a moment before looking seriously at Asia.

"Asia, do you know why you were kicked out of the church and declared a heretic?"

Asia looked confused for a moment before nodding her head.

"It was because I cured a demon."

Noah shook his head.

"It wasn't that simple, because of your powers, a high ranking demon named Diodorah Astaroth took notice of you and wanted to transform you into his new plaything. His plan was for you to cure him so that you could be cast out so he could make you his demon slave."

Asia seemed to suddenly understand why the priests went from worshipping her to suddenly trying to kill her.

Remaining silent, Noah left her to ponder while he went back to his room to sleep.

Asia still had too great a faith and her worldview was still too narrow.

Her mindset would not change until she went through many experiences that could change her current way of thinking.

As she went to bed, a strange but amusing thought crossed her mind.

In the previous world, a red king and a white king were destined to face each other.

In this world, he was now the red king and sooner or later he would face the white king.

The next day in the afternoon.

"Would you like some tea professor?"

A young woman with black hair pulled back into a ponytail poured Noah a cup of tea.

"Thank you, Akeno."

Noah took a sip of tea as the three servants of Rias Gremory glanced at him from time to time.

Koneko is sitting on the other sofa while eating a bag of potatoes while Yuuto was standing in the corner.

As for Akeno, he stood behind Noah with the tray he brought the tea on still in his hands.

"You should relax, I'm not the type that would cause trouble for a bunch of kids.

Even though you've been watching me and gathering information about me for the past few days, I can come to understand, after all it's a logical reaction and I would have done the same in your situation."

"You..."

Yuuto gripped the hilt of his sword tightly but did not attack.

Koneko stopped eating for a moment and her ears twitched slightly before she continued eating.

The quietest was Akeno, who remained with that soft smile she always had.

A few minutes later, a red pentagram lit up in the room before a crimson-haired young woman materialized on the spot.

Rias Gremory stared at Noah and did not speak, but instead motioned with her eyes to her servants to be on the alert.

"Good afternoon, Rias-Chan."

With a smile, Noah greeted her before taking another sip of his tea.

"Who are you?"

Calmly, Noah set his teacup aside before speaking.

"You can call me Noah, my identity isn't important, what's important is that you're in big trouble and I could help you solve it.

After all, no one wants to marry someone they loathe.

Now, Miss Gremory, how about you sit down and listen to my proposal?"

...

Rias stared at him for a moment before sitting down on the couch across from him and waiting for him to speak.

With a smile, Noah began to talk.

An hour later, he quietly left the occult club and went home.

"President, is it the right choice to ally ourselves with him?"

"I don't know, but at this point anything is better than ending up as one more of Raiser Phoenix's toys."

Rias stared at the moon as his thoughts wandered.

The next day, Rias received a very unpleasant visitor.

Her fiancé had arrived, intending to take her away to marry her.

"Miss, you must not be stubborn. Your brother has already decided that your marriage will take place."

A silver-haired maid tried to persuade Rias.

Rias said nothing, eyes closed as she allowed Raiser to play with her hair.

Just as he was about to place a hand on his thigh, someone grabbed his hand tightly, preventing him from moving forward.

Rias stood up quietly, moving away from Raiser and falling into the embrace of the man who was still holding Raiser's hand tightly.

"Who are you?"

Raiser tried to pull his hand away unsuccessfully and his aura began to rise, especially when he saw how his supposed fiancée embraced the man.

Noah looked at Raiser with a smile and said.

"You know, your dirty hands look too nasty, how about we cut them off."

Without waiting for anyone to react, Noah pulled out the light saber he took from the renegade exorcist and with a clean cut, Raiser's hand was severed from his arm.

Blood flew everywhere as everyone was in shock, including Rias herself.

Although she had agreed to put on this little theater, she never imagined Noah would act so rampant.

It took Raiser a second to react before a sharp pain shot through his stump.

Even though he was a demon of the phoenix clan and could regenerate his hand, being cut by a sword of light made him feel an excruciating pain that ran up and down his arm.

The silver haired maid reacted immediately as she saw Raiser stand up as his aura exploded and Noah did the same, unleashing his aura and making it match Raiser's.

Even though he could kill the other party with ease, he had to keep up the act.

"Please calm down everyone."

The maid released her own aura, which clashed against the other two and separated them.

"Miss Rias, please explain what is going on."

Noah smiled at the maid before answering.

"What could be going on? Isn't it obvious already? Your fiancée has already been won over by my charms, now you can go back and wipe your ass with that engagement contract."

As he spoke, Noah grabbed Rias' chin gently before kissing her deeply.

Akeno and the other servants lost their composure for a moment as this drama was getting too intense.

"You! How dare you!"

Raiser burst out in fury and was about to start a fight when Noah gently set Rias aside before looking Raiser straight in the eyes and telling him directly.

"Raiser Phoenix, I formally challenge you to a duel. Whoever wins gets to keep Rias Gremory."

"This..."

The maid felt a headache coming on and didn't know what to do so she simply broke a talisman before a man whose features resembled Rias' suddenly appeared.

The young man didn't speak and simply rubbed his chin with interest for a while before finally breaking the silence.

"All right, I allow it."

Upon finishing his words, he simply disappeared.

On the other hand, the maid took the group to the city's train station, where they rode a special train that entered a space tunnel that took them to a huge coliseum somewhere in hell.
