Omniscience in Marvel

Chapter 11: Omniscience in Marvel 11

Title: Project Genesis

Normal POV

As Leucadius continued his conversation with Gaea about the potential creation of a new species, he outlined his plan for genetic modification and enhancement of the Homo erectus to transform them into a superior form - Homo sapiens.

"I have the knowledge, the technology, and the resources to shape the destiny of this new species," Leucadius explained, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"By combining the principles of science, technology, and magic, we can create beings with potential that surpass even the greatest civilizations that have come before."

Gaea listened intently, her curiosity piqued by Leucadius' ambitious proposal. "That's impossible. But how do you propose we achieve this?" she inquired, her voice tinged with skepticism.

Leucadius leaned forward, his expression determined. "We start with the genetic blueprint of the Homo erectus," he began, gesturing animatedly as he outlined his plan.

"Using techniques on gene editing and manipulation, I can enhance their physical attributes, cognitive abilities, and overall resilience."

"With the knowledge of genetics and the power of magic, we can introduce beneficial mutations that will unlock their full potential," Leucadius continued, his voice brimming with enthusiasm as a holographic display appeared in front of them.

"We can enhance their strength, agility, and intelligence, creating beings that are not only capable of surviving in any environment but thriving in it."

Gaea nodded thoughtfully, considering Leucadius' words. "It's a bold plan," she remarked, her gaze lingering on the holographic displays that illuminated the space around them.

"But it's not without risks. We must tread carefully, for the consequences of our actions could have… far-reaching implications."

Leucadius nodded in agreement, acknowledging the gravity of their undertaking. "Indeed, Mother," he agreed, his voice tinged with solemnity.

"But with great risk comes great potential. And I believe that together, we have the power to shape the destiny of this new species for the better. Your brother's snake men have been thriving ever since their creation."

"I know. But they're a failed race."

"A race still genetically superior to your Creation." Leucadius said, causing Gaea to frown at him, however, he didn't back down and held eye contact with her.

"How will you go about this? I can't have you mutilating my Children." Gaea asked while leaning down on her chair.

"I will do no such thing. All I need is one Human male and female to act as the parent gene for the new species."

"Just a pair?" She asked in confusion.

"Yes. Just a pair. That'll do." Leucadius said with a confident smile.

Gaea regarded him with a mixture of uncertainty and determination, her gaze meeting his with unwavering resolve. "Very well," she conceded, her voice tinged with resignation.

"Proceed with caution, Leucadius. But know that the fate of this new species rests in your hands, and you must not take that responsibility lightly."

"There's no need for that. You'll love them. I assure you." Leucadius said as a Boomtube appeared behind him before swallowing him.

Gaea saw this and sighed. "That boy really comes up with the most unique things."

Although she didn't understand the Boomtube to be specific, she understood the principle of Teleportation and Portal Creation. However her understanding was more of an instinct than actual learning.

In comparison to Leucadius, she was something akin to a Connate Creation, so whatever her creator knew, she knew.

"Whatever, it's not like this has anything to do with me." And with that, she also disappeared.

1st POV.

I initially didn't want to do this. Honestly, playing God wasn't something I wanted to do in this new Reality that I found myself in, however, with knowledge comes the desire to implement.

I knew a lot about the human body. With my studies on Science, Technology and Magic, I was able to modify my body to better contain my Cosmic Energy while also creating a pool for it.

As for increasing it, I didn't bother worrying about it since I could convert my Psychic Energy into cosmic energy, similar to how I converted Cosmic Energy to Psychic energy.

Back to the matter on hand. I knew that following Gaea's Terraforming of the planet, Homo Erectus will adapt and slowly become Homo Sapiens.

This was the time for it. However, what genuine scientist wouldn't want to see for themselves how that happened?

Plus, I already had a lot of data on the Physiology of the Homo Erectus. Where do you think the previous holographic display came from?

I already had everything sorted out. What I needed to do now was Magi-Technically edit their genes and make them…High Human.

Yup. My very own Adam and Eve.

That is what I want. Humans with actual intelligence and potential. Of course, with time, the dominant genes in them would recede drastically but their roots will remain.

I'm literally going to make them Gods in human flesh. Yup. A hundred percent access to their Brain and Body.

Did you think I'd allow them into the world where a casual Homo Erectus could slap them to death?

Heh.

Hmm. Those two will do.

I was currently in the skies above what I presume to be the future African and Asian continent.

With Matter Manipulation, Gaea was actually converting any unnecessary Element to necessary ones.

So locating two barbarians, a man and a woman, I directly shut down their consciousness and teleported them to my location before a Boom tube opened up behind me and I was gone again.

In Gaea's Dimension, I had managed to create a small pocket space that has been acting as my Lab for years now. I actually don't know how long has passed but I know it's been decades at the very least.

That's what happens when you shut down your overpowered ability and go old school in acquiring knowledge.

Anywho. Time to get down to business.

In the heart of his secluded laboratory, Leucadius stood surrounded by an array of equipment and holographic displays out of their time, his gaze focused intently on the task at hand.

With a deep breath, he began the delicate process of genetic modification, a venture that would shape the destiny of a new species. Activating his Skill: Absolute Intelligence sub skill: Clairvoyance.

This process, as he had promised Gaea will be a one time thing, so there was no room for mistakes. The Clairvoyance will make sure of that.

Leucadius' first step was to isolate the key genes responsible for the traits he sought to enhance in the Homo Erectus. With meticulous precision, he delved into the depths of his own DNA and other reference samples, such as Gaea's, extracting the genetic blueprints for increased intelligence, enhanced physical attributes, and improved resilience.

Armed with state-of-the-art gene editing tools, he began the delicate task of modifying the Homo erectus genome. With surgical precision, he wielded techniques that will put CRISPR-Cas9 and TALENs to shame, guiding the targeted introduction of beneficial mutations into the isolated genes.

But Leucadius's expertise went beyond the confines of science alone. With his mastery of magic, he infused mystical energies into the gene editing process, amplifying its effectiveness and unlocking hidden potential within the DNA.

Through enchantments, he guided the transformation of the Homo erectus genome, imbuing it with supernatural potential and adaptability.

As the modified genome took shape, Leucadius conducted rigorous validation and testing to ensure its efficacy and safety.

Using his own specially crafted bioinformatics tools and laboratory assays, he meticulously analyzed the altered DNA sequences, confirming the successful integration of desired traits while minimizing any potential off-target effects.

The very Essence of Adaptation was both good and bad, some can adapt backwards while others adapt forward. This was a potential off-target effect.

With the modified genome perfected, Leucadius proceeded to synthesize artificial gametes carrying the edited DNA, ready for implantation into suitable host organisms.

Enter Adam and Eve, as Leucadius has chosen to call them. Chosen Homo erectus, individuals who would undergo a precise procedure to receive the modified gametes, marking the initiation of their transformation into Homo sapiens.

Throughout the transformation process, Leucadius remained vigilant, closely monitoring the development of Adam and Eve. With Clairvoyant perception, he made adjustments as needed, fine-tuning their genetic makeup to optimize their transition into a superior form of humanity.

Continuous monitoring and refinement allowed for the gradual emergence of Homo sapiens, a species endowed with unparalleled potential and resilience.

In the silence of his laboratory, Leucadius orchestrated a feat of unparalleled ingenuity, merging science, technology, and magic to pave the way for the birth of a new era of human evolution.

And with Adam and Eve as the vanguards of their kind, the stage was set for the dawn of a remarkable new chapter in the annals of history.

"How is it looking ASPECT?" Leucadius asked no one in particular, but a loud ding was heard as a Hard Light Construct appeared before him and looked at the two slowly transforming Humans.

The Hard Light Construct, representing ASPECT, scanned Adam and Eve with advanced sensors, analyzing their genetic makeup and physiological changes with unparalleled precision. After a moment of processing, ASPECT responded in a synthesized voice:

"Genetic modification process is proceeding as predicted, Master. Initial integration of edited DNA sequences shows promising results. Cognitive enhancements and physical adaptations are within expected parameters. Minimal off-target effects detected. Transition to Homo sapiens classification underway."

Leucadius nodded in satisfaction, his eyes alight with anticipation. "Excellent work, ASPECT. Continue monitoring their progress closely. We must ensure their development aligns with our vision for the future."

With ASPECT's continued oversight and guidance, Leucadius remained vigilant, overseeing every aspect of Adam and Eve's transformation with unwavering focus. Together, they embarked on the journey of Project Genesis, forging a path towards a new era of human evolution.

Leucadius POV.

(ASPECT: Advanced System for Predictive Empowerment and Contextual Transformation) This was the artificial intelligence I had created to better process information I didn't need to.

Absolute Intelligence was an overpowered skill. No doubt. But it was too spontaneous. After getting a grip on its capabilities, I had shit it down and created ASPECT to oversee anything I couldn't be bothered to check.

Yes, as a human, I get curious at times, but not all curiosities are meant to be satisfied. Absolute Intelligence rejected that notion.

Whenever I am curious, it provides definite answers.

A very Overpowered Skill. No wonder it's a sub-skill of Omniscience. I wonder how TOAA is coping with Absolute Wisdom, heh.

As I was now, I knew everything I needed to know. I have learnt everything I needed to learn and all that remains is to explore this world and all its connected Dimensions.

"Master. They're about to awaken." ASPECT'S voice broke me out of my thoughts, causing me to smile and look at the two humans so close to me in terms of physiology.

No longer were they hunched back and unkept like the barbarians they were before. Currently, they both had immaculate blonde hair with skin as white as snow.

Yup. Their skin was literally glowing white. How that happened, I have no idea. It definitely has nothing to do with my hair being white.

As for their appearance, If I didn't know their origin and saw either one of them outside, I might have actually fallen in love…depending on my gender.

Physically, Adam and Eve were 6'2 and 5'8 respectively. Peak height for their respective gender. Their shoulders were broad with Eight and six packs adorning their lower abdomen.

"Separate the two. Bring Adam to the Garden outside and have Eve remain in that state." Saying that, opened a Boomtube that led outside the pocket dimension.

"Mother, It's done." I said to no one in particular as I made it to the garden.

One thing I've come to understand after staying here for so long was that Gaea knew all that transpires Within this Realm. She was a Realm lord in a way so nothing is actually Hidden.

Except for my Pocket dimension tho.

I had initially wanted to make a device that'll act as the crystallization of all my knowledge on both Science, Technology and Magic…something similar to the Motherbox from the neighboring Multiverse, but I always seem to be missing something.

With no luck on that part, I decided to leave it as a pocket dimension for now. It was a super computer that could rival my Absolute Intelligence computing speed.

Imagine that. An Entire Dimension acting as a Computer. Kukuku. With ASPECT as it's controlling AI, all I needed was a strong enough Energy to actually make it a Motherbox.

Mother Boxes are known to be able to draw power from the Source itself. They were also built with the highest known material - Element X - The highest and purest form of Creation.

Now this was literally impossible to build in this Universe, but with the Infinity Stones, perhaps it could reach a level similar to that of the neighboring Multiverse.

Well. That's something the future me has to worry about.

"You have that look again."

"Hmm? What look?" I asked as I turned to the woman who appeared behind me.

"The look of someone cooking up something impossible…"

"You jest, why would I think up something that's impossible? In this Multiverse of possibilities, nothing is impossible." I said to the woman with a small laugh.

"Exactly. So just make sure that whenever you finish thinking it up, it doesn't affect the Earth." Gaea said as she turned to the new arrival lying on the floor in front of her.

"You have my word."

"Is this it? Your finished product?" She asked and I nodded.

"The One and only Candidate for Project Genesis: GM:0000000001: Adam" I said and slowly floated over while still on my chair.

"Why so many zeros?"

"Cause he's the first of his kind. He'll father Billions of humans that'll work this Earth." I said passionately at the prospect of it actually happening.

"You and your claims. I don't doubt you though. But do you think he's capable enough to go up against what the world has to offer?"

"Of course. Everything he needs for survival has already been imprinted in his brain. All he needs to do now is Think." I said with a shrug.

"Think?"

"Yeah. His brain is fast enough to compute any and all information he acquires. And his body is strong enough to handle any and all pressure he meets on earth."

"That's quite the bold claim." Gaea said as she analyzed the man's body only to frown.

"Isn't this a bit too much? He's taking energy from my dimension. If this continues, he won't die." she said and glared at me. "I hope you know what you're doing."

"Of course. He won't have that access forever. As soon as he leaves here, that connection is cut." I replied offhandedly and made me and Gaea invisible as Adam's eyes fluttered open.

"I sense a 'But' there."

"Hmm. That'll be for you to find out."
