The assailants saw what happened to two of their team members and were immediately overcame with fear. They did not know if the being before them was human as she easily killed two of them without breaking a sweat. The fear of the unknown is always instilled in humanity which is why some panics at moments of uncertainty. Still, the enemies were mindless puppets programmed to do a cause and mind control cannot be overcome by simple fear.

At the command of the Team A leader, all of the assailants charged towards Hexy. The Team A leader saw how deadly the unkept girl could be and decided that he should at least survive this ordeal. He no longer cared about the people he commands as his life takes priority now. He is the only one that has knowledge of what they really intend to do which is why he cannot be captured.

The Team A leader used the holy artifact to the maximum extent, and it released a crisp sound that destroyed any small black thorns on their way. Seeing that the enemy is now in a desperate situation, Hexy infused her weapon with more miasma. The flower bud slowly opened once again to release even more petals, and it released a powerful miasma that enhanced the black thorns she controlled.

"Budding!" Hexy shouted as the dark thorns became thicker than before and almost filled the entire room.

The dark thorns came crashing towards the enemies as Hexy intends to destroy them as well. If she did not put all effort, then she would be the one that loses. Even a cornered rabbit could kill a wolf if the predator is not serious. All of the dark thorns crashed towards the enemies which made the Team A leader exert more power from the holy artifact.

The holy artifact released another clear sound much louder than before. The crisp sound even made those that hear have their ears ring as it was very high pitched. The high-pitched sound created a powerful frequency that defended them against the crashing dark thorns. The initial wave of dark thorns was destroyed by Hexy was unrelentless and utilized more.

"Protect me!" The Team A leader shouted as his hand became slightly numb since using the holy artifact consumes the mana of the wielder.

The Team A leader could not keep the holy artifact working any longer as his mana would be emptied. In the end, the Team A leader sacrificed two more of his men as meat shields in order to live but the surge of dark thorns stopped. The Team A leader then held his two daggers and released a series of slashes that destroyed the remaining dark thorns.

"Well done." Hexy stated as she was now sitting atop a large flower bud with her weapon floating next to her.

"It seems that even you are tired, witch." The Team A leader stated in order to agitate Hexy as he is banking on the situation where she loses her calm.

"I have been called that word many times that I already accepted that I am one. Your holy artifact is indeed powerful to hold out against my attacks filled with miasma and laced with curses. Still, all of your efforts have now gone to waste because I am done preparing." Hexy stated.

"You are bluffing, witch. You are just like me in terms of energy levels which means you are almost out of mana as well." The Team A leader stated but Hexy chuckled.

"You are correct, but I have set up everything perfectly compared to you. Know that you will die at the hands of a Black Fairy and not a witch. Bloom: Jinxed Thistle!" Hexy stated as her weapon finally bloomed and revealed the beautiful flower inside of it.

A Thistle flower that has violet and pink petals emerged from the weapon that Hexy uses. As the flower bloomed, Hexy did as well as her appearance changed to her Black Fairy form. A beautiful and dangerously alluring form that entranced any that sees it. It is not just Hexy and her weapon that bloomed as the large flower bud she was sitting on has also opened itself.

"!" The Team A Leader shouted but no sound was coming out of his voice. He turned to his other team members, but they could not hear anything as well.

"The Curse of Silence. Let us see if your holy artifact can protect yourself against me with this curse affecting the entire area of my Cursed Paradise." Hexy stated as she is the only one able to speak in this situation as she is not affected by the curse.

"Bloom: Jinxed Thistle – Haunting Utopia." Hexy exclaimed as her weapon suddenly used the excess miasma that is not being used by the Curse of Silence and absorbed it. The weapon then released a powerful burst of miasma which automatically activated the holy artifact that is owned by the Team A leader.

The holy artifact flew up and tried to activate its power, but no sound came out of it. The Team A leader could be seen desperately trying to ring the chime to produce any sound, but the Curse of Silence was not a curse that can be easily defended against. The Curse of Silence is also empowered by Hexy's Cursed Paradise which is akin to a domain when she is in her full Black Fairy form.

"Futile as your holy artifact relies on sound. This large flower I conjured is a Tone-Deaf Flower that eats sounds and frequencies in an area. The perfect counter to a holy artifact that relies on sound and frequencies to cleanse miasma. Please die in a world without sound." Hexy stated as the enemies were all blasted by the miasma produced by her weapon exclusive skill Haunting Utopia.

The enemies grabbed their heads as their thoughts started rushing which made some spiral into madness. Some decided to end things themselves as they could no longer take the torture. They could not even hear themselves scream as they all became crazy with the silence.
