The Goldenclaw clan is a prestigious clan in the eastern continent known for their great use of money and assets. They are even called the richest clan in the eastern continent second only to the imperial family. It is even said that the original patriarch of the clan was a member of the imperial family which is why they have ties to them as well.

The current Branch Guild Master in the eastern continent took on the family name when he married the current matriarch of the clan. He ruled the merchant guild while she took the affairs of the clan. They are said to be the most powerful couple when it comes to money in the eastern continent due to this. The power and affluence of the Goldenclaw clan skyrocketed when this union happened, and the main merchant guild turned a blind eye as this would solidify their footing in the eastern continent.

Adrian and the others were discussing what they needed to fix in their plan when a knocking sound suddenly echoed in the door. Adrian immediately took out the spatial isolation and returned back the state of the place. He then proceeded to go to the door and looked at Levin Cloud and Peridot.

"You can open the door." Peridot commanded as this was the custom for VIPs in the eastern merchant guild.

Unlike the central continent where the merchant guild practically owns any rooms in there and could enter without the permission of who is inside, the eastern continent treats their guests like masters. Some would say that this type of etiquette spoils their VIPs, but it is the most successful branch for a reason. The people of the eastern continent know that pampering your prestigious guests will make them spend more or give more valuable items up for trade.

"Apologies if I arrived late and disturbed your rest, Lord and Lady Firefeather." An old man with squinty eyes stated as he entered the room when Adrian opened the door.

"You are excused of being late as we were enjoying our time together." Peridot stated as she leaned towards Levin Cloud.

"As charming and as beautifully in love as always. How may I serve our VIP guests from the Firefeather clan?" The assistant branch guild master stated.

"I wanted to deal with the Branch Guild Master, but they said that he was away which is quite shocking. Can you tell me why he could not meet us or maybe he is disrespecting us by not showing himself?" Peridot stated as her words carried a hint of disdain which made Adrian give a slight thumbs up for her acting.

"Let me apologize for the branch guild master's sake, Lady Firefeather. The guild master is really not here right now as he is in mourning for his second eldest daughter. We received dire news that she passed away in the central continent and returned back to their home in an urn as ashes." The assistant branch guild master stated truthfully and nervously.

"I see. I guess we did not know of that information as it might have been tightly shut but we do not concern ourselves of the very personal matters of other clans. I offer my condolences to the Goldenclaw clan but then our trip would be such a shame. It seems that we have wasted our trip here, my beloved." Peridot stated as she nudged Levin Cloud.

"Please tell me what you need as I will be more than happy to assist you with anything here. The Firefeather clan is one of the clans that made our branch the best one out of the other merchant guilds after all. It is not boasting to say that your clan basically built our branch from the ground up." The assistant branch guild master stated as he was desperate to make a deal with them as this would increase his influence in the guild.

"If you say so but make sure that nothing leaks out as I have something that was secretly traded to us from Avalon." Peridot stated which suddenly made the assistant branch guild master perk up.

"The land of demons! Is it one of those prized teleportation scrolls?! I am sorry if I am being too straight forward as I have never been this excited before." The assistant branch guild master stated.

"Please explain the item, my beloved. I am getting rather faint from talking too much." Peridot stated as she rested her head back to Levin Cloud's shoulders.

"Here is the item that we have gotten from the Champion of the Twin Gods himself. You can appraise it, but we cannot let you touch it." Levin Cloud stated.

Teleportation scrolls like this are not in circulation as they are only given to people a demon trusts. This item is not bound to the gifted party.

Teleportation scrolls are in the market for circulation but the highest they have is of the Epic tier and could only teleport you within the continent you are in in fixed locations. The scroll being presented by Levin Cloud is a known item, but they are usually bound to the being they were given to as a precaution of the demons should the scroll fall into the wrong hands.

"Such a rare thing! Does the Lord and Lady want to sell this? If you do, then this thing could easily buy a small house located here in Kunlun." The assistant branch guild master stated as the value of the scroll is immense.
