Adrian returned back to Avalon with a smile on his face while those that were shoved inside the portal had a teasing smile on their face. Adrian could only sigh with the way the two are acting as they rarely get to tease him. It was usually him teasing the both of them and he knows that the two wants him to taste his own medicine.

"If you two do not want to fall continuously for hours then be on your best behavior." Adrian stated as he started to prepare for his next trip.

"Seriously, you are no fun to tease." Peridot stated.

"Probably because the being he fought did not prove much of a challenge that he did not need to go all out." Levin Cloud added.

"I did go all out with the restrictions that I have been given. I even learned how heavy it is to have a shell on your back that has its own living ecosystem. Anyways, I am off to the eastern continent to find the Primordial Beast of Greed. Any of you care to join me?" Adrian stated.

"I want to go!" Soleil suddenly stated as she likes the eastern continent since there are parts there that remind her of home.

"My little angel, you do remember that we need to go now. You will be busy for the following days. I am sorry that we cannot help you as we have an arrangement in the real world." Vayu stated with a face that looked apologetic.

"No need to apologize as I think I am currently enough to deal with investigating the Merchant Guild in the Eastern Continent." Adrian stated.

"Then why did you ask us then?" Levin Cloud asked rhetorically.

"I do not know. I guess I asked out of instinct, but you guys can do what you need to do. I only helped you because you asked for it in such a strange way." Adrian stated.

"He is trying to be cool, but he was almost about to burst when he learned what happened to you." Peridot stated.

"We will be going now then. Enjoy playing guys." Vayu stated.

"Bye bye." Soleil stated with a pout as both father and daughter logged out.

"So, are you guys going to help me?" Adrian asked the two as they seem to have no intention of leaving.

"You said you are going to the merchant guild right there, right? Do you have the VIP ticket to even meet the Branch Guild Master there?" Peridot asked.

"I was going to sneak in with the help of a secret organization in the eastern continent but if you have a way then maybe I can borrow yours." Adrian added.

"Follow me as both of you need to dress the part as well." Peridot stated as she led them back to the guild home.

"Why am I getting caught up in this as well? I am an innocent bystander." Levin Cloud protested.

"Do you have anything better to do?" Peridot asked.

"Not really." Levin Cloud stated.

"Then come with me. Also, contact Kabrakan. Both of you do not have the build that screams bodyguard." Peridot stated as she suddenly acted like she is a mafia boss.

"Is she fine? Did you… being kidnapped by enemies suddenly made her more… you know." Adrian stated.

"Just follow along as she has many identities in eastern continent. She might be using one of them to help you since she cannot openly show herself there. She is still being targeted by that evil organization in the eastern continent, so she mastered the art of disguise." Levin Cloud stated as it seems he was already dragged into different iterations of this.

"If we are roleplaying then I am not going to suffer humiliation with just you." Adrian stated as he called Kabrakan, and the latter replied that he just got out of training.

A few moments later…

"I am here! What did I miss?" Kabrakan stated as the three suddenly appeared before him in outfits that screamed young mistress with guards.

Peridot looked like a beautiful young mistress from a noble family in the eastern continent. She is wearing a long dress that has hints of the Vermillion Bird. Some of her accessories are even red dyed peacock feathers to imitate the long-feathered plume of the Vermillion Bird as this is often worn by young lady nobles that live in the kingdom protected by the divine beast.

Levin Cloud wore a rather scholar looking attire that also has hints of the style that Peridot has. It seems that she was going for a couple look with Levin Cloud. She said that he must exert this refined young master vibe as they will go as the newly engaged noble couple that lives in Vermillion City.

Adrian, on the other hand, is dressed like a hired bodyguard of the two couples. In his warrior robe, the image of the Vermillion Bird is also there but not as pronounced. He also has a sword that has a red sheathe with a white hilt which is a common weapon of guards in Vermillion City.

"Not this again." Kabrakan stated as he seemed to remember these disguises.

These two noble identities that Peridot and Levin Cloud are assuming are thanks to the cooperation of the Vermillion Bird and the Ryujin. The Ryujin has done this type of disguise in the past as well since they often needed to observe society in the eastern continent as a way to see that it is not slowly crumbling. It is also a way for the Ryujin to check fair and competent rulers.

"I did not know that you guys were very hardcore when it comes to role playing. I guess finding a hobby is healthy for you." Adrian stated.

"As I was saying, I am the current Lady Firefeather that has a weak constitution. Levin Cloud is my fiancée that is a scholar from the institute that is studying ways to cure me. You are the bodyguard that we hired and Kabrakan will be the same." Peridot explained.

"I will go change. I should have made an excuse, but I was already deceived." Kabrakan stated as he knew he cannot run away from this.

Meanwhile in the eastern continent…

"Branch Leader Goldenclaw, we have received word of the fate that happened to the young miss." One of the attendants in the merchant guild stated with a grim face.

"Speak and do not delay." Branch Leader Goldenclaw stated which made the attendant gulp because of the pressure he was emitting.

Branch Leader Goldenclaw did not look like the typical merchant as he looked like he has a good build as if he exercises. He also looks like he was in his mid-forties as only some parts of his hair are gray. He wore a red robe with auspicious symbols that represent wealth as if to announce that he is the riches man in the room.

"They said that the young lady has met an unfortunate end because of a plot. It seems some of the guards of the young lady attempted to kill her. Some of them were stopped but the young lady died as their attempt was successful." The attendant stated as he was shaking as Branch Leader Goldenclaw was only silently staring at him.

"What of her body then?" Branch Leader Goldenclaw asked.

"It seems that they decided to cremate her body as it is our custom. They also opted to do this as she was severely cut up by the enemy." The attendant replied as he suddenly felt the aura of Branch Leader Goldenclaw skyrocket and he almost fainted on the spot, but he managed to hang on.

"Do you have the full report? What of her guards that survive?" Branch Leader Goldenclaw asked in a heavy tone.

"The guard that protected her is incapacitated and currently receiving treatment in the central continent, but they report also said that he has lost his mind. They are asking if we should return him back to his family even in that state as they might want to see him." The attendant stated as he focused on the paper and not on the face of Branch Leader Goldenclaw.

"Has this news been delivered to my spouse?" Branch Leader Goldenclaw asked.

"Yes, branch leader. I also have a report here from your house that the mistress has fainted upon hearing the devastating news." The attendant added.

"I think I need to go home early in order to console my wife. Let the Assistant Branch Leader take over for a few days while I mourn for our loss with my wife." Branch Leader Goldenclaw stated as he rose from his seat.

"I will relay everything to the assistant branch leader." The attendant stated as he hurriedly went out of the office.

"They dare to destroy what is mine! When I learn who defiled such treasured living dead then they will become one as punishment. For now, I have to act the part of a father and husband. Acting human is such a pain." Branch Leader Goldenclaw or rather the Primordial Beast of Greed stated as he returned to the home of the owner of the real body.
