NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Chapter 279: Anna Isn't In Town

She led him towards the middle section of the store where she took out a small box that was decorated with bright red and black color.

"It'll be triggered if the owner laughed, releasing a sweet melody that would make anyone mesmerized," she said before pushing a hidden button to the side and the cover was opened slowly showing what was inside.

"This… What is that fog?"

Bloom saw a cloud of fog floating inside the box. "This is the memory fog," she explained, "it restores the owner's best status and makes sure he or she will always be in that state anytime the owner wants."

"Hmm… does it ever look beautiful?"

"Not only that," she shook her head, "even if the owner was on the verge of dying, this little one here can help to bring him back instantly to the top shape and health, leaving not a single scratch over him."

The eyes of Bloom shone brightly when he heard that. "How does it work? Should I put gold coins or materials inside?"

"No, it works in a simpler way," the girl chuckled, "all the owner needs to do is just laugh happily for five times and the box would be recharged on its own. It's called the joyful life box for this."

"Amazing," Bloom realized how special this little item was, "how much for it please?"

"Two million gold coins," the girl said.

"and if I'll pay with materials and gears?"

"Add one million then," the girl smiled, "I told you… it's pricey."

"But it's worth every penny," Bloom nodded before taking out a pile of materials, "I believe this will cover the cost, right?"

"Let me check," the girl took the materials to the nearby counter where she used a scale device to measure the value of each material.

After five minutes she stopped midway as she said with a big smile: "These will do, and the rest are extras. You can have them back, sir."

"Thanks," Bloom stored the materials before adding, "so the box is mine now?"

"One moment, I'll wrap it for you."

"Thanks."

The girl then wrapped the box in a pink red matrix with many roses over it before she gave it to him.

"Thanks for your precious visit," the girl accompanied him even to the door and Bloom just nodded to her before returning to take his suit.

"It's ready sir," the old man said in excitement, "you can dress it now."

"Thanks," Bloom just took the miniature version of the tuxedo and touched it over his body. The next moment he wore the suit and was ready to move.

"I'll go to the restaurant directly and wait for her there," he didn't hesitate to open his chat with Antoan and asked him to go to the mayor's mansion and leave a message for Anna there regarding the date.

'You are aiming for the mayor?!!' Yet Antoan was slightly taken aback with his words.

'Just go,' Bloom laughed before taking the ticket and using it and then he appeared in the grand plaza filled with statues.

'I'll go, but if Nara knew… god knows how you can escape her wrath.'

'Hahaha, you just say anything and she won't know for now,' Bloom laughed while walking towards the restaurant.

"That man… he is really fast."

Just as he sat in the restaurant's top section, he could see the entire town. Just near the gate a grand tower was being built and next to it a large project was undergoing as well on the ground.

"What is he planning to do now?" Bloom thought as he didn't think that the covered project on the ground was only covering the grand tail.

At least from the size of it Bloom knew it was three or even four times bigger than the tail.

"Good evening sir," a waiter came before asking, "what do you want to order tonight?"

"I'm waiting for a special person, her name is Anna," Bloom said, "when she comes just guide her to here please and then we'll order."

"I understand, I'll leave a word down below then."

The waiter excused himself and Bloom just glanced at his reflection in the mirror nearby. He returned to Hannipal's identity just when he arrived here. Despite paying extra gold coins for that, he didn't mind that considering he was now filthy rich.

"What took her so long?" Just after half an hour Bloom started to feel restless. He had other plans for the night, and her delay was something suspicious.

'Have you gone there yet?' he sent a message to his butler to make sure she received the message.

'I'm trying to enter but there's a jerk standing there saying she isn't here,' Antoan sent and instantly Bloom guessed the identity of that guard.

'Tondel?' he asked, 'what does he say about her location?'

'It's him, do you know such a bad NPC?' Antoan seemed a little surprised before adding, 'he is stressing over her not being home or in the entire town at all. He says she is at her uncle's town, to take part in some sort of an auction or a show or something like that.'

"Damn!" Bloom's face changed slightly when he heard that, "she… went there?!!" he was surprised by this and didn't even think about her presence there.

"This… complicates things a little bit," he couldn't help but sigh, "but I'll have to go now."

He sent a message to his butler asking him to go back and level up. After paying tips to the waiter and apologizing for not being able to stay, he hurriedly went to the nearest hotel where he changed his shape to Dockrey's.

"Let's hope this night will pass without any more complications," he muttered to himself before taking a ticket and used to move to the Lion town central plaza.

Wearing such an expensive tuxedo and walking in the streets of the town, he instantly attracted much attention. "Luckily there are few players in this town," he muttered before finally reaching the mayor's mansion.

"Sir… are you a player?" the head guard stopped him with a weird look over his face.
