Not a Grimoire

Dear diary,

Something came into the house last night.

I know cause it's nailed to the wall in front of me. I don't even know how it got there or how it got inside in the first place. I remember Goodman locking the door and I even bolted the door lock from inside.

It's kinda hard to see, almost like it shouldn't even be there. But I know it's there. I guess it kinda looks like a shadowy octopus with one really big eye.

Do you wan't to eat it?
