NOVEL NEXT Chapter 49: Medic From Hell
He walked towards the storage tent and on the way, he opened up his system screen before investing his recently received character point into Regenerative Boost, bringing it up from F to E so that he could keep his bugs alive while they scouted for him.
Kira set up a tent for himself and for the contents inside, he got himself a regular futon and placed it on a stone slab that was created with earth release. Other than that, there really wasn't anything else.
The next morning, he woke up and rushed to Fugaku's side, who looked at him and pointed towards a large tent a few hundred meters away.
"Go to the medical camp and take care of the people there. Healing one person's injuries will be considered as one mission completed." Fugaku said before shifting his attention to the woman in front of him.
Kira nodded and grabbed the four scrolls that were tied to his waist belt before opening them and placing them on the ground. He then infused chakra to his palm and slapped each and every opened scroll.
The moment he did this, a huge black cloud emerged from each scroll and while more of his micro bugs were flying out, he gave them one simple command mentally.
'Go and cover the front lines and give me a signal if you see any potential attacks.'
And just after he was done relaying his message to them, they dispersed. Kira stood up and looked at Fugaku who was already staring at him.
"Uncle Fugaku, is there any other mission you would like to give me? Like scouting and stuff?"
"Yeah... take care of the scouting and alert us if you spot anyone coming towards us."
Kira nodded and happily ran off to the medical camp, only to see hundreds of shinobi lying on beds with various injuries, both serious and non serious. He looked around and saw one person who was giving out orders to the others.
He ran over to him and said, "Medical Chunin, reporting to duty."
"Uh... sure." the guy said glancing at the short Kira, not taking him seriously as this was the first time he had seen someone so young in this area.
Seeing that there was nothing assigned to him, Kira shrugged and looked around, spotting multiple people who were struggling alone in pain while the medical ninjas attended to the others.
Kira brought his hands together and a second later, five extra clones popped up beside him before heading towards the patients whose cases seemed severe. The six Kiras looked at their patients who had severed limbs, gaping holes or poisons in their body.
The first thing that Kira did, was to close off the wounds using his insane levels of chakra control, but this consumed a lot of chakra. The bigger the wounds were, the more chakra he had to expend but when it came to poisons, he really did not know what to do as he never studied about poisons in his entire life.
It was not that he couldn't, it was just that he didn't have enough time to do so. He learnt about the human anatomy from Orochimaru and learned the hundred healings technique's theory from Tsunade, but he did not have anyone who could teach him about counteracting poisons.
Of course, he could have asked Tsunade to teach him, but he didn't really consider poisons back then and now, he regretted not asking her about it.
Since he didn't know what to do, he ran back to the guy who was in charge while his clones took care of the patients who weren't poisoned.
"Hey, I'll take care of the ones who aren't poisoned. Can you send the others to help the ones who are poisoned instead? I can use my clones to free up five spots." Kira said hurriedly, only to be met with a scorn instead.
"Just go and assist the other shinobi. I don't want you causing chao-"
*Bam*
Kira fist made contact with the guy's nose, breaking it while sending him flying backwards.
"You want chaos, you bastard? Shut the hell up and assign medical ninjas to cure the poisoned ones." Kira said, only to find out that the guy had passed out.
He clicked his tongue and turned around to look at the others who were staring at him.
"Oy, which one of you are specialised in curing poisons? Raise your hands or I"ll punch every single one of you bastards. Fucking hell!" Kira snapped as he glared at them.
Two of them raised their hands but the rest gave Kira a defiant look. And among them, one person ran out screaming, "I'll go report to Captain Fugaku that this kid is messing things up in the camp!"
Kira ignored him and looked at the two people who raised their hands, "You two, prioritise the patients that have been poisoned. I'll take care of your current patients."
Saying that, he rushed towards the patient that one of them was taking care of and saw that the man had a broken femur, the bone in the thighs. He placed his hand on the guy's thigh and used chakra to see how bad the damage was.
"The bone has multiple cracks and the flesh surrounding it had also been badly damaged. Internal bleeding too." he muttered as he began to send out insane amounts of chakra, fixing the broken bone and healing the area surrounding it at the same time.
Usually, the medical ninjas fixed one part, such as bones and then moved on to the internal bleeding areas before finally fixing the muscled that had been torn due to the sharp bone fragments.
He also didn't numb the area with his chakra as doing that would consume extra chakra on top of the already high chakra consumption. And since he was healing the entire thigh area at the same time, the injured guy screamed like he had been thrown into the pits of hell.
