NIKKE: The Apocalypse Arrives, But the System is 100 Years Late

Chapter 237: Chapter 237: I Need to Pee

The room was spacious, with a bedroom as large as a living room—more luxurious than even a presidential suite.

The first thing that caught the eye was a vast and comfortable bed, covered with silky smooth sheets. The bedspread was embroidered with exquisite patterns, its vibrant colors maintaining an air of elegance. The bed was massive, easily accommodating multiple people.

However, six people might still be a bit of a squeeze.

Besides the bed, the room was adorned with various artistic decorations—sculptures, oil paintings, ceramics—all adding to the refined atmosphere and showcasing the owner's unique aesthetic taste.

That said, the owner was most likely long gone.

The thick layer of dust on the table was evidence enough.

Mo Chen first had the advance squad do a quick cleanup of the room before moving the unconscious members of Matis and Cafe Sweety Squads inside and settling them down.

They were all still under the effects of suppressor rounds, their minds not yet clear. Their wounds had already been treated, and most had recovered.

Since the bed wasn't large enough to fit all six of them—at most, it could hold four—Mo Chen had the remaining three placed on the sofa and chairs. He couldn't just leave them lying on the floor.

Under the soft moonlight, the girls lay quietly on the plush bed, their sleeping expressions as serene and beautiful as freshly bloomed flowers in spring.

Laplace's long hair cascaded over the pillow like a waterfall, its slightly curled ends gently swaying with the faint breeze, carrying the fresh scent of shampoo. Moonlight streamed through the half-open curtains, casting dappled shadows on her face, giving her an air of mystery.

Maxwell's lashes were long and thick, like two delicate fans resting over her closed eyes, fluttering slightly with each breath. Her nose was straight, lips slightly parted, revealing a row of perfectly white teeth—almost as if she were smiling in her dreams.

Milk's skin was as fair as jade, radiating a healthy glow. Her slender neck and well-defined collarbones stood out in the moonlight, making her appear even more elegant and alluring. The soft blanket covered most of her, leaving only her peaceful face and one delicate arm exposed. Her skin looked so smooth and flawless that it seemed it could be imprinted with the lightest touch.

Mo Chen glanced at the room full of Nikkes and felt a slight headache.

There were just too many of them.

But at this point, there was no better alternative. Even if they were sent back to the Ark, they would likely end up being quarantined.

Forget it—he needed to finish this as soon as possible.

Mo Chen shrugged off his shirt, tossing it onto a nearby sofa, revealing a chiseled physique that looked as if it had been sculpted from marble.

Just then, a slender figure reached out two pale arms from behind and wrapped them around him, embracing him tightly.

At the same time, the Nikkes who had been lying on the bed and sofa, supposedly unconscious, began to stir.

As if drawn by an irresistible force, they slowly awakened.

Like moths to a flame, they staggered toward Mo Chen, their steps unsteady, their bodies drawn to him—one after another, closing in on him…

This was going to be a long night.

Meanwhile, outside the master bedroom, two figures quietly emerged from the adjacent room, carefully closing the door behind them. They glanced around like thieves, making sure no one was around before sneaking toward their destination.

The two exchanged a look, their gazes locking onto the master bedroom door in the distance.

Night had fallen and the room was dark.

Moonlight filtered in through the half-open window, casting silvery streaks across the floor like liquid mercury. Using the faint glow as cover, the two figures tiptoed toward the bedroom door.

The one in front slowed down slightly, while the one behind moved too quickly—"thud!" Their foreheads collided with each other.

"Ow!"

They instinctively hushed themselves, quickly covering their mouths.

It was none other than Anis and Neon.

After hearing what the Commander had said earlier in the day, they had felt something was off.

He said it was about detoxification, but why did he have to be in the same room with them?

And he forbade anyone from entering, even if they heard strange noises?

Come on, the Commander, in a room full of Nikkes—that was basically sending a sheep into a tiger's den!

They couldn't just let this happen.

Besides, a man spending the night in a room with so many women—how could anyone not suspect what was going on?

Their mission was clear: to protect the Commander's chastity.

With such a noble reason, they felt justified in their actions.

It wasn't like they were sneaking around to join in or anything!

However, just as they reached the door, a voice suddenly came from behind them.

"It's late. Why aren't you two asleep? What are you doing here?"

In the dead silence of the night, the voice was abrupt, making Anis and Neon jump in fright.

Turning around, they saw Rapi.

"We—uh, we came to use the bathroom."

Anis quickly raised her hand and blurted out the excuse, nudging Neon with her elbow.

Neon caught on and immediately nodded.

"Yeah, bathroom."

Rapi gave them a skeptical look.

"Both of you? Together?"

"Yep."

"The same bathroom?"

Anis nodded rapidly, scrambling to add, "The toilet in my room broke."

Neon chimed in, "Mine too."

Rapi, having spent enough time with them, knew exactly what was going on.

"If you need the restroom, follow me."

Anis immediately waved her hands, giving an awkward smile.

"No need! We can handle it ourselves. Rapi, you should go to bed."

"Yeah, we got this," Neon echoed.

Rapi didn't respond. Instead, she turned and walked toward the exit.

"Come with me. If you need the bathroom, there's one outside, in the woods."

"Outside?"

That meant they'd have to go into the trees to do their business? Wasn't that just open-air peeing?

The thought disgusted Anis, and she quickly backtracked. "Actually, I don't feel like going anymore. I'll just head back to my room."

It was obvious—they had been caught.

Neon looked at Anis in surprise, only to see her frantically signaling with her eyes. Finally, Neon caught on.

"Oh? Uh, yeah, me neither! Anis, wait for me!"

Ignoring Rapi's call, the two Nikkes scurried off.

As they hurried down the hallway, they whispered frantically to each other.

"This is your fault! You were too loud!"

"No way! I was super quiet!"

"You bumped into the table!"

"T-That was an accident! So… what now, Anis?"

"What else? We climb."

"Huh? Climb?"

"Idiot. We climb a tree and look inside from above."

"Ohh! Got it."

The two snuck off, leaving the hall quiet once again.

Rapi watched them disappear around the corner but didn't let her guard down.

Instead, she turned toward the shadows in the corner.

"You've been waiting here for a while, haven't you?"
