Chapter 12: 12. Lilith abduction
Lilith stood in the grand hall of their castle, her voice resonating through the chamber as she practiced a new song. The melody was enchanting, a mixture of haunting beauty and ethereal grace. She closed her eyes, letting the music flow from her heart, each note a testament to her love for Lucifer. Her voice, a gift from Heaven, was one of the few remnants of her former life that brought her pure joy.
Lucifer watched from a distance, a soft smile on his lips. He cherished these moments, the simple pleasures they could still share amidst the chaos of Hell. As she finished her song, he approached, applauding softly. "That was beautiful, Lilith. Your voice never ceases to amaze me."
She turned to him, her eyes sparkling. "Thank you, my love. I've been working on this piece for you."
Lucifer wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. "You're too good to me," he whispered, kissing her forehead.
They spent the rest of the day together, enjoying each other's company. They walked through the gardens of their castle, sharing stories and laughter. Lilith found herself lost in the warmth of Lucifer's presence, his love a sanctuary from the ever-looming darkness of their realm.
After their stroll, they settled in the library, a place filled with ancient tomes and artifacts. Lilith picked out a book, one of her favorites, and they read together, sharing passages and discussing the stories. She loved these moments, the quiet companionship they shared, the way Lucifer's eyes lit up when he spoke of the histories and mysteries contained within the pages.
As evening approached, they moved to the dining hall, where a lavish meal awaited them. They dined together, savoring the rich flavors of the feast. Lucifer, ever the attentive partner, made sure her plate was always full of her favorite dishes. They spoke of the future, of their hopes and dreams, and for a while, it felt as if they were back in Heaven, untouched by the weight of their past transgressions.
As night fell, they retired to their chambers. Lilith prepared for bed, feeling content and loved. She slipped under the covers, smiling as Lucifer joined her, his presence a comforting warmth by her side. They whispered sweet nothings to each other, the world outside their room fading away as they found solace in each other's arms.
However, in the dead of night, Lilith stirred from her sleep. She felt a strange unease, a prickling sensation that set her on edge. Before she could react, a rough hand clamped over her mouth, and a bag was thrust over her head. She tried to scream, but her voice was muffled and lost in the darkness. Panic surged through her as she struggled, but her limbs were quickly bound with ropes, rendering her helpless.
Her heart pounded in her chest, fear gripping her as she was dragged from the bed. She could hear the soft whispers and the unmistakable giggles that sent a chill down her spine. Those giggles – she recognized them. It was Cerberus, the three hellhound girls. guardians that served Beelzebub. The realization hit her hard: Beelzebub was behind this abduction.
As she was carried away, she prayed silently, hoping that Lucifer would notice her absence and come to her rescue. But for now, she was at the mercy of Beelzebub's minions, and there was little she could do but wait and hope.
The journey was disorienting, the sounds of Hell distorted and distant through the thick bag over her head. She could feel the Cerberus girls' presence, their mischievous giggles a constant reminder of her captors. Each bump and jolt sent waves of fear through her, but she forced herself to remain calm, to think clearly.
Eventually, the movement stopped, and Lilith was roughly set down. The bag was yanked from her head, and she blinked against the sudden light. She found herself in a dimly lit chamber, the familiar opulence of Beelzebub's domain. The Cerberus girls stood before her, their faces alight with impish glee.
"Hello, Lilith," one of them said, her voice dripping with mock sweetness. "Welcome to our little game."
Lilith glared at them, her heart pounding. "What do you want with me?"
The girls giggled in unison. "It's not what we want. It's what our mistress wants. You're here because Beelzebub has plans for you."
As they spoke, the doors to the chamber opened, and Beelzebub herself entered. She walked with a languid grace, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "Ah, Lilith. I see you've met my dear Cerberus. They can be quite persuasive, can't they?"
Lilith's eyes narrowed. "What do you want, Beelzebub?"
Beelzebub smiled, a cold and calculating expression. "I want to entertain myself, dear sister-in-law. And you are the perfect pawn in my little game."
Lilith's heart sank as she realized the extent of Beelzebub's madness. She could only hope that Lucifer would find her before it was too late. Beelzebub snapped her fingers, and the Cerberus girls grabbed Lilith, dragging her through a dark, narrow corridor. The walls seemed to close in, and the flickering torchlight cast eerie shadows, making the journey even more unsettling.
They reached a heavy wooden door, which creaked open to reveal a dark, damp room. The Cerberus girls shoved Lilith inside, the door slamming shut behind her. The sound echoed ominously, sealing her in what felt like a tomb. She stumbled forward, the darkness swallowing her. Her breaths came in ragged gasps, her hands trembling as she tried to find something to hold on to.
"Enjoy your stay, Lilith," Beelzebub's voice echoed through the darkness, followed by her maniacal laughter. It reverberated off the walls, filling the room with a chilling, almost tangible sense of madness. "I hope you like your accommodations. You'll be here for a while."
Lilith's heart pounded as she heard the sound of Beelzebub's retreating footsteps. She was alone, trapped in the darkness with no idea of what horrors awaited her. She sank to the floor, her mind racing. She needed to stay strong, to hold on to hope that Lucifer would come for her.
