New Beelzebub in Hazbin Hotel

Chapter 1: 1. Second chance

Lily's mind raced as she tried to make sense of her surroundings. The emptiness of the void was disorienting, and the figure on the throne before her seemed like something out of a fever dream.

"Welcome," the figure drawled lazily. "You're dead. And you've arrived just in time to entertain me."

Lily's heart skipped a beat. Dead? She struggled to grasp the reality of her situation, memories of her final moments flashing through her mind like shards of broken glass.

She remembered the rain-slicked streets, the blare of sirens in the distance, the screech of tires on wet pavement. She remembered the sickening crunch of metal as her car collided with another vehicle, sending her world spinning out of control.

And then, darkness.

She had died in a car accident, the victim of her own reckless driving. It was a bitter pill to swallow, the weight of her actions crashing down on her with brutal clarity.

The god on the throne seemed unfazed by her turmoil, his bored expression never wavering.

"Entertain you? What's in it for me?" Lily's voice was hoarse, barely more than a whisper.

The god chuckled, a smirk playing across his lips. "A second chance at life, my dear. But first, let's make it interesting."

With a flick of his wrist, the god conjured a spinning wheel out of thin air, its vibrant colors swirling hypnotically.

"Spin the wheel, and let fate decide your destiny," the god declared, gesturing towards the spinning wheel.

Lily hesitated, her heart heavy with regret. She knew she didn't deserve a second chance, not after the mistakes she had made. But something inside her urged her to spin the wheel, to see where fate would take her next.

With trembling hands, Lily gave the wheel a hesitant spin, watching as it gradually slowed to a stop, revealing a name: "Helltaker."

"Helltaker?" Lily muttered, a bitter laugh escaping her lips. "Seems fitting."

The god nodded approvingly. "Indeed it is. But first, let's see who'll accompany you on your journey."

With another flick of his wrist, the god snapped his fingers, causing the wheel to spin once more. Names flashed by in a blur until it finally landed on "Pandemonica."

"Pandemonica," the god mused. "An interesting choice."

Again, he spun the wheel, and this time it landed on "Justice."

"Two down, three to go," the god remarked, a hint of amusement in his voice.

The wheel spun again, and this time it stopped on "Cerberus."

Lily smirked, feeling a thrill of excitement coursing through her veins. "Looks like luck is on my side."

Two more spins followed, revealing "Beelzebub" and "Malina."

The god's eyes widened in surprise. "Well, well, well. You've certainly lucked out, haven't you?"

Lily shrugged, a cocky grin spreading across her face. "Guess I've got a knack for beating the odds."

The god chuckled, his amusement evident. "So, the next wheel will choose from the five you will be reincarnated as. You will become one of those five."

As the god spoke, the wheel began spinning once more, its colors swirling hypnotically until it came to a stop at Beelzebub.

"Hahaha, what a lucky mortal you are," the god exclaimed, his laughter echoing through the void.

But just as the god prepared to send her off with her chosen companions, a sudden voice interrupted the proceedings.

"Hold on a moment," a new figure stepped forward, interrupting the god's plan.

It was a woman, dressed in elegant robes and exuding an air of authority. She approached Lily with a scrutinizing gaze, her eyes piercing through the young woman's bravado.

"I have a proposition," the woman said, her voice firm but not unkind. "Before you make your final decision, allow me to offer you an alternative."

Lily's curiosity was piqued. "And who are you supposed to be?"

The woman smiled knowingly. "I am the Oracle, and I have been watching you, Lily. You possess a rare quality—a spark of potential that could tip the balance of light and darkness."

Lily narrowed her eyes, wary of the woman's words. "And what do you want in return?"

The Oracle chuckled softly. "Nothing more than to see where your journey leads. Will you embrace the chaos of Helltaker and forge your own path, or will you choose the path of peace?"

The Oracle's words echoed in Lily's mind, stirring a flicker of doubt within her. She glanced back at the god, uncertainty clouding her thoughts.

But deep down, she knew that she was destined for something greater than a simple game of chance.

With a defiant glint in her eye, Lily made her decision.

"I'll take my chances with Chaos," she declared, her voice ringing out with determination.

The god's smirk widened into a full-blown grin, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Ah, a bold choice indeed! Chaos welcomes you with open arms, Lily."

As the Oracle vanished, the god's laughter echoed through the void, a cacophony of mirth and mischief that seemed to reverberate for eternity.

"And where shall I send you, my dear Lily?" the god said, his voice filled with amusement. "Ah, I have just the place in mind. How about a little visit to the Hazbin Hotel? I'm sure you'll find it... stimulating."

With a snap of his fingers, the void dissolved around them, plunging Lily into a world of Hazbin Hotel.
