"Well, of course it counts, of
course it counts, hahahaha!" Mizuki exclaimed, taking the Sealed Book with
a smile on his face. As he slightly opened it and saw the ninjutsu recorded
inside, he couldn't help but laugh wildly.
"Mizuki-sensei? What's wrong
with you? And, where is Iruka-sensei? How should I evaluate my mission?"
Menma feigned a hint of doubt.
"Menma-kun, you did a great
job, really good. Iruka? Oh, he's not here. Your mission evaluation? Then you
just need to die, and everything will be perfect," Mizuki's expression
turned cold instantly.
"Swish!" With a flip of
his right hand, Mizuki drew a kunai and aimed it fiercely at Menma's face.
Menma seemed to just react, his
pupils shrinking suddenly. He took a step back, tilting his head.
"Buzz." The kunai missed.
When Mizuki showed a look of
surprise, Menma bent his legs, exploded with speed, and quickly pulled away.
"Mizuki-sensei! What are you doing?!" Menma looked at Mizuki with
shock and confusion.
"What am I doing? Didn't I say
that you have to die here for this story to be perfect! Uzumaki
Menma-kun," Mizuki said sinisterly.
"Die here? Why?! Mizuki-sensei,
you!?" Menma asked with a look of shock and anger.
"Why? That's because you were
deceived by me, hahahahahaha! Do you really think this is a temporary test?!
How stupid do you have to be to believe me? To tell you the truth, Menma, you
are just a useful pawn used by me to help me steal the top-secret Sealed Book
of this village," Mizuki looked at Menma with mocking pleasure.
"What!?" Menma looked at
Mizuki with disbelief, his pupils full of shock. Menma's acting was impeccable,
making it seem as if he had returned to the drama club activities of his
previous life.
This level of committed acting,
though far from professional, was realistic enough to deceive most people.
Mizuki was no high-IQ villain, merely a clever boss. The Third Hokage was
remotely monitoring from the Hokage Building using the Telescope Technique. At
a high-altitude angle, no one could see the flaws in Menma's performance.
Mizuki enjoyed Menma's shocked
expression, looking at him with a happy and evil expression. "Haha, do you
really think this is just a scroll that records slightly more advanced ninjutsu
as a prize? No, kid, this contains all the advanced ninjutsu, forbidden
techniques, and secret techniques above A-level in the entire Hidden Leaf
Village. It is a top secret that only successive Hokage are qualified to view!

Unbridled laughter echoed as Mizuki
vented his joy and pride. Menma's expression suddenly turned extremely angry.
In his heart, Menma couldn't help
but laugh. This guy is too cooperative. He just said everything without being
lured. He looks like a villain who has succeeded. Menma couldn't help but feel
pity for him. No wonder he's the first small boss.
"So, you want to betray the
village? Mizuki-sensei! And you deceived me!?" Menma looked at Mizuki with
anger. His clenched fists and bulging veins on his forehead showed he was fully
into the role.
"Heh, betrayal? I'm just
pursuing the true essence of being a ninja: powerful strength. A mere ninja
village? What does that mean!? And deceive you? Kid, who do you think you are!?
For twelve years, no one in the village has been close to you, and everyone has
rejected you. Don't you have any doubts at all!?" Mizuki sneered at Menma
with a devilish expression.
Sarutobi Hiruzen, watching from the
Hokage Building, changed his expression upon hearing Mizuki's words. This
development was beyond his expectations, but he couldn't intervene now.
Mizuki continued, "Your true
identity is not a human being at all, but the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox that caused
chaos in the entire Hidden Leaf Village twelve years ago, causing the deaths of
many Konoha ninjas and even the Fourth Hokage who died in battle!!!!"
Mizuki's face was ferocious and
evil, intending to mentally devastate Menma with his words. However, Menma
wasn't the same as in the original story. He wouldn't be affected by such
words.
To cooperate with Mizuki's
performance, Menma widened his eyes, his body slightly trembling, and his lips
buzzing. His acting was so real that Mizuki seemed to enjoy seeing Menma's
shaken expression.
"Including Iruka, his parents
also died twelve years ago. Do you really think Iruka cares about you? No, he

to, Uzumaki Menma!" Mizuki sneered.
For Mizuki, simple physical
destruction wasn't enough. He wanted to completely destroy Menma mentally
before eliminating him physically.
