Naruto’s Strongest Twin - The Battle Hungry Saiyan (DBZ Dragon Ball)

Chapter 106: 105. The Nexus Awakens

The closer they came to the Nexus, the more distorted reality became. The very air around them shimmered with chaotic energy, and the ground shifted beneath their feet as if the laws of physics no longer held sway. Time itself seemed to ripple, bending and stretching in strange ways that made it difficult to focus.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura led the charge, their teams fanning out around them, each shinobi hyper-alert as they approached the epicenter of the convergence. The swirling vortex of energy above them crackled with dark lightning, and the tendrils of the Nexus reached farther and farther out, threatening to pull everything into its grasp.

Naruto's eyes narrowed as he felt the overwhelming presence of the Nexus pressing down on them, like a weight that threatened to crush them with every step. But he gritted his teeth and pushed forward, his resolve unshaken. "This is it, guys. We've got to hit it with everything we've got."

Sasuke's Sharingan and Rinnegan were both active, his senses on high alert as he scanned the area for any signs of movement. He could feel the Nexus's power growing with every passing second. "There are distortions everywhere. Watch out for traps—it's warping the battlefield to confuse us."

Sakura, already gathering her chakra for the fight ahead, clenched her fists. "We stick to the plan. The teams will focus on severing the connections to the surrounding dimensions, and then we hit the core. No distractions."

As they moved deeper into the battlefield, the air around them grew darker, and strange figures began to emerge from the shadows—warped versions of shinobi they had faced before, twisted by the power of the Nexus. The figures moved with unnatural speed, their bodies flickering in and out of existence as they attacked from all angles.

"Here they come!" Naruto shouted, leaping into action as one of the twisted figures lunged at him. He formed a Rasengan in an instant, slamming it into the creature's chest and sending it flying back into the swirling vortex of energy. But more kept coming, their forms multiplying as they were pulled from the Nexus itself.

Sasuke moved with precision, his Chidori sparking to life as he tore through the figures, each strike aimed with deadly accuracy. But no matter how many they cut down, more kept coming, their forms shifting and reforming with each blow.

Sakura charged forward, her strength amplified by the Light energy she had mastered under Ryusei's training. She delivered devastating punches that shattered the twisted shinobi's bodies, but the battlefield was becoming a sea of enemies, each one more dangerous than the last.

"There's no end to them!" Sakura called out, her voice filled with frustration as she dodged another attack.

"That's because the Nexus is feeding off them!" Sasuke shouted in response, his eyes locking onto the swirling vortex above. "It's pulling these things from different timelines. We need to get to the core!"

Naruto grinned, despite the chaos around them. "Then what are we waiting for?"

With a burst of chakra, Naruto charged forward, weaving through the battlefield as his Shadow Clones appeared by his side, each one launching into the fray with a Rasengan in hand. The clones created a whirlwind of attacks, clearing a path through the mass of enemies as Naruto made his way toward the heart of the Nexus.

"Keep pushing!" Naruto shouted to his team. "We're almost there!"

Sasuke and Sakura followed closely behind, their attacks slicing through the twisted figures that tried to block their path. Every step they took brought them closer to the core of the Nexus, but the energy around them grew more chaotic with every moment. The ground beneath them cracked and shifted, and the air was filled with dark lightning that threatened to tear them apart.

But Naruto didn't slow down. He could feel the pull of the Nexus, the overwhelming power that was radiating from its core. And he knew that if they didn't stop it soon, it would consume everything—every world, every timeline, every dimension.

"There it is!" Sasuke shouted as they finally reached the edge of the vortex.

The core of the Nexus was a swirling mass of dark energy, a black hole that seemed to defy all logic. Tendrils of power stretched out from it, connecting to the surrounding dimensions like a web. And in the center of it all, a massive, pulsating sphere of energy floated, radiating with the full power of the convergence.

Naruto's eyes widened as he took in the sight. "That's it… That's what's been causing all of this."

Sasuke's Rinnegan flared as he studied the core, analyzing its structure. "It's connected to every timeline we've encountered. We have to sever those connections, or it'll keep pulling power from them."

Sakura stepped forward, her fists glowing with chakra. "Then let's get to work."

Naruto, never one to hesitate, leaped forward, his chakra surging as he formed a Rasenshuriken in his hand. "Time to cut this thing down!"

He hurled the Rasenshuriken toward the core of the Nexus, the swirling blades of chakra slicing through the air with deadly precision. The attack hit its mark, cutting through one of the tendrils that connected the core to a distant timeline. The tendril snapped, the energy flowing through it dispersing into the air.

But as the first connection was severed, the Nexus roared in response, its dark energy surging as more tendrils shot out, trying to reestablish the connection. The ground beneath their feet shook violently, and the air was filled with dark lightning as the Nexus fought back.

"It's not going to let us cut it off that easily!" Sasuke shouted as he formed a Chidori in his hand, his body flickering as he moved at lightning speed to strike another tendril.

Sakura followed his lead, her chakra-enhanced fists slamming into the ground as she severed a third tendril, the power radiating from her attack causing the entire battlefield to quake.

But no matter how many connections they severed, the Nexus fought back with more intensity, its dark energy lashing out at them with each strike. The battlefield was becoming a storm of chaotic energy, and the closer they got to the core, the more unstable everything became.

Naruto's eyes narrowed, his determination unwavering. "We can do this! We just need to hit it harder!"
