Naruto: Wooing Tsunade from Day One!

Chapter 193: Chapter 193: Closing the Net

"How are things going?" Kawakaze asked as he entered the Uchiha clan grounds. Rather than heading home from the practice range, he had come straight here to meet Fugaku.

The two sat face to face, their interaction relaxed and informal—a sign of their growing familiarity.

"It's almost time to close the net," Fugaku replied, his concern evident. He had been keeping close tabs on the matter, asking for updates daily and staying fully aware of the progress.

"Thank you for your trouble," Kawakaze said with a smile, taking a sip of tea.

"It's all trivial matters," Fugaku said lightly, though both knew the risks the Uchiha were taking. If Hiruzen Sarutobi discovered their involvement, it would result in an irreparable rift.

"How is it going with the Konoha Military Police Force?" Kawakaze asked, shifting the topic. He had already given his promise to support the Uchiha, and he intended to honor it fully.

"He's placed several Sarutobi Clan members in positions of power," Fugaku explained. "But I've ensured they hold roles of little significance. So far, they've been behaving themselves and haven't caused any trouble."

"That's good. How much did you have to pay?" Kawakaze asked, nodding at Fugaku's careful handling of the situation.

"In the past, we funded our own allowances. Now, the village covers them," Fugaku said with a satisfied smile. "We're saving quite a bit every month, and everyone is living more comfortably."

Fugaku's tone carried a touch of humor. While the Uchiha Clan wasn't in need of money, the shift in funding provided psychological satisfaction more than financial relief.

"Look at the little success you've had," Kawakaze teased with a grin before continuing. "Then we'll close the net tomorrow."

"Okay, I'll arrange it tonight," Fugaku replied, his expression serious, signaling that the horn for the offensive had officially been blown.

"It's up to you," Kawakaze said. "But there's one more thing you need to take care of." He leaned closer and whispered something in Fugaku's ear.

Fugaku's eyes widened in shock as he processed Kawakaze's words. "That's impossible," he said, disbelief evident in his tone. Kawakaze's suggestion was startling—was this truly something the Hokage would do?

"I'm not sure either," Kawakaze admitted with a calm smile. "You'll find out if you look into it." From his knowledge of the original story, he was 99% certain of his assumption.

"Okay, I understand," Fugaku said after a pause. He sat in silence for a moment before speaking again. "I hope this is true. If it is, his position as Hokage will be over."

"Don't worry," Kawakaze said, observing Fugaku's slightly agitated demeanor. He spoke slowly and deliberately. "Even if this doesn't work, his position as Hokage will still be over."

...

The two men chatted for a while before Kawakaze stood up and left. Fugaku didn't see him off but immediately called for a trusted subordinate and relayed Kawakaze's instructions.

"This matter is of great importance. Don't let anyone know," Fugaku said firmly, his sharp gaze fixed on the Jonin before him. "Report directly to me. Understand?"

"Yes, Clan Head," the Uchiha Jonin responded without hesitation.

"Be careful," Fugaku added, his tone grave. "The Sarutobi Clan, after all, descends from the Hokage. Go."

He patted the Jonin's shoulder and then walked away alone, his mood lifting. The Uchiha Clan's good days were drawing closer, and Fugaku couldn't help but feel pleased.

"Fugaku, why are you so happy today?" a soft voice asked. Turning, he saw a woman with a beautiful and gentle appearance approaching him.

"Mikoto, how long have you been here?" Fugaku asked, his smile growing as he walked up to her and took her hand. Since his uncle's departure, Mikoto's support had been invaluable in helping him move forward.

Mikoto's position was well-known within the clan—she was the future Clan Head's wife, though not yet of marriageable age.

"I've been here for a while," Mikoto admitted, her cheeks coloring slightly. "You were talking to Lord Kawakaze. I didn't dare interrupt."

Her shy demeanor and soft, mellow voice only added to her charm. Perhaps it was this gentle personality that made her a perfect complement to the lively Kushina, with whom she had become friends in the future.

"We're done talking," Fugaku said warmly. "Why don't you walk with me?"

Mikoto nodded. "Okay," she said softly, letting Fugaku take her hand as they walked outside together.

The gears of fate were already in motion, but this time, their future was different. Hand in hand, they would not fall to betrayal but would grow old together.

...

That night, Fugaku gave the order to Midori to begin closing the net. An invisible trap was quietly being laid, while Sarutobi Hiruzen remained preoccupied, questioning why Kawakaze had not acted after so many days.

Could it be because I am Tsunade's Sensei? Is he unwilling to hold a grudge bacause of her? the Hokage pondered.

The more he thought about it, the more restless he became. Only after his wife urged him repeatedly did he finally go to bed, though he lay awake for hours, unable to sleep.

Meanwhile, Kawakaze was urging Tsunade with unabashed enthusiasm to join him for a bath. He hadn't forgotten even a single word of what she had promised him earlier that morning.

"What, do you want me to carry you to the bath?" Kawakaze teased, slipping his arm around her shoulders. His hand naturally wandered to her large breasts.

"You're shameless," Tsunade muttered, giving him a disapproving look. "You went to see Fugaku today?"

"Yeah," Kawakaze replied with a grin. "There'll be a good show tomorrow." He added slight pressure with his hand, clearly pushing his luck.

"You're going to die," Tsunade said, slapping the back of his hand with a mix of scolding and playfulness.

"Hey, hey, I couldn't help it, I couldn't help it," Kawakaze said defensively, though even he wondered why his hand refused to behave.

"Are you sure?" Tsunade said, gripping his hand to stop him from continuing his antics.

"Yes, I can't hold on much longer," Kawakaze joked.

"Go to hell!" Tsunade retorted with a laugh. Despite herself, she couldn't help but wonder about this man who always managed to get under her skin.

"Haha, don't worry," Kawakaze said with a grin. "A peaceful resolution—you'll be satisfied."

His chosen method was indeed peaceful, fully taking Tsunade's feelings into account. As her Sensei, she wouldn't want to see unnecessary bloodshed.

"That's more like it," Tsunade said, standing up. "I'm going to wash up, so you stay put."

Satisfied with his response, she left the room, leaving Kawakaze alone.

"Who do you think you're underestimating? I'm an honest person," Kawakaze muttered with a smirk. Checking the time, he guessed Tsunade had started washing up. With a snap of his fingers, he disappeared.

"I knew you'd show up and play the rascal," Tsunade said when Kawakaze appeared. She wasn't surprised; if he didn't come, he wouldn't be Kawakaze.

"I just want to give you a back scrub," Kawakaze said innocently, though his expression betrayed him.

In an instant, his clothes vanished.

"Do you really expect me to believe that?" Tsunade said, glancing at him with suspicion. She wasn't falling for his act.

"Haha, it's a compliment," Kawakaze replied shamelessly, still trying to defend himself.

"Save it," Tsunade said dismissively, turning her attention back to washing herself.

Moments later, she felt a pair of large hands on her breasts and something firm pressing against her back. A rain of kisses landed on her neck.

"I thought you were going to scrub my back," Tsunade said softly, biting her lip as her voice escaped in a low murmur.

"Hmph, take the easy way, or you'll have to take the hard way," Kawakaze said with a mischievous snort. Turning Tsunade to face him, their eyes locked.

"Umm..."

The moment ignited into something uncontainable, and soon the sound of intimacy filled the bathroom.
