Naruto: Wood-Wood Fruit

Chapter 141: Chapter 141: Endless Surge

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu."

"Earth Style: Mud Wall."

"Summoning Jutsu."

Boom! Boom!

The ground rumbled continuously with loud explosions.

Kiyoshi created shadow clones, sending them off to train in various jutsus. He left behind a wood clone to serve as a chakra reservoir whenever needed.

Kurenai practiced her summoning technique nearby, summoning a lizard clan beast to gain better insights. She was focused on selecting a combat partner suitable for her abilities.

But she was completely unaware.

Not too far away, under the shade of a tree, two figures sat in meditation, motionless in their own mental world.

The sound of battle echoed around, intense and fiery. Anko Mitarashi's boldness was more than Kiyoshi expected.

Usually under Kurenai's watchful eye, Anko didn't miss this rare opportunity.

"Alright, that's enough." Kiyoshi said after the sparring.

Exercising great self-control, Kiyoshi managed to stay focused.

He glanced at Anko, clinging to him like an octopus, and sighed, "I still need to help adjust your body. If Kurenai notices, it could be troublesome."

"Hmph, you and Kurenai must practice this often, you're way too skilled." Anko's cheeks flushed with a mix of envy and playfulness.

Seizing the moment, she teased him with a tempting whisper, "How about…. one more time?"

"No way."

Kiyoshi was unmoved.

Anko's eyes sparkled mischievously, "Just now, didn't you love it when I held that position?"

Kiyoshi's resolve wavered slightly.

But before he could react, she launched herself at him again.

….

After the storm, the surroundings lay in disarray.

Fortunately, Kurenai was facing away and too absorbed in conversation with her summoned lizard.

She meticulously recorded chakra consumption and categorized each summon type. Genjutsu, taijutsu, ninjutsu, and intelligence-gathering.

Otherwise, she would have immediately noticed Anko's strange behavior.

After all, even if the battle occurred in the mental realm, Anko's body and spirit were still deeply interconnected.

Once he finally managed to calm the relentless Anko, Kiyoshi focused on channeling a powerful flow of life-infused chakra to begin her full-body healing.

Years of being exposed to the curse mark had left lasting damage.

Similar to what he had done for Kurenai, he started forming a Yin Seal and Strength of a Hundred Seal on Anko, embedding chakra reserves that could be released in life-threatening situations.

Time trickled by.

By midday, Kiyoshi's spirit returned to his body, leaving Anko feeling rejuvenated.

Kurenai was already preparing lunch, roasting a freshly caught wild animal to a golden brown.

The fire crackled, and the delicious aroma filled the air as golden oil dripped and sizzled over the flames.

"Mmm, this feels amazing." Anko stretched, still blushing, "Thank you so much, Kiyoshi."

On her forehead, a purple mark had formed in the shape of a snake—a symbol of the Yin Seal he had imprinted.

Thanks to Kiyoshi's masterful use of medical ninjutsu, her skin looked brighter and her body felt refreshed, almost as if she had become younger by several years.

Noticing a nearby river, she brightened up, "But first, I need a bath."

"Then go for it," Kiyoshi shrugged.

He checked the area to make sure they were alone.

He had already informed the Third Hokage through a wood clone, even creating a barrier that would disrupt the Hokage's Crystal Ball Jutsu, just in case.

Otherwise, the constant noise from Kurenai's training would have attracted the Anbu by now.

"Hurry up, Anko, or you won't get any food." Kurenai called out cheerfully.

With Kiyoshi's endless supply of chakra, Kurenai had quickly mastered her summoning jutsu, even managing to summon the lizard clan's massive leader though it would almost drain her chakra completely.

This improvement in her chakra reserves was also thanks to Kiyoshi's medical techniques, which had enhanced her overall chakra capacity.

With the Yin Seal unlocked, she wouldn't have to worry about chakra exhaustion again.

Unlike other jutsus, summoning only required sufficient chakra and control, making it easier to master once these needs were met.

Anko returned from the river, freshly washed and dressed.

The three enjoyed a hearty lunch together.

With Kiyoshi's healing chakra sustaining them, fatigue was barely an issue.

After lunch, Kurenai continued her taijutsu training, strapping on weighted lead blocks and sparring with Kiyoshi's wood clone in high-intensity drills.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu."

"Fire Style: Fierce Dragon Flame Jutsu."

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Bomb."

Boom! Boom!

Anko, too, was thrilled to receive what she called a "cheat card experience" from Kiyoshi.

Since she didn't possess Kurenai's mental strength, she only created two shadow clones to assist in training.

However, with three of her practicing simultaneously, the triple gains left her astounded.

"This feeling… it's incredible."

Unlimited chakra to spare, and the freedom to unleash techniques with abandon was thrilling for her.

"No wonder you're so powerful, Kurenai." Anko laughed in delight, her excitement spilling over.
