Naruto: Uchiha's Resolve

Chapter 34: Chapter:34

The Forest of Death became a battleground of legends as Uchiha Hirito and Uzumaki Mito faced each other. Their intense chakras crackled in the air, creating an oppressive atmosphere. Shadows of their power loomed over the treetops, where dozens of clan members and spectators perched, watching from a safe distance.

For many, this wasn't just a battle between two titans; it was a moment that could reshape the future of Konoha.

Hirito felt his blood pumping with excitement. This was the fight he had been waiting for—a clash against one of the ninja world's strongest. His innate Uchiha desire for combat surged, and a smile spread across his face.

Lightning chakra surged around him, crackling like a storm, and in a blur, Hirito transformed into a streak of lightning, charging straight at Mito.

"Thunder Slash!" he roared, swinging his sword with all his might.

Mito, now partially cloaked in the Nine-Tails' dark red chakra, intercepted the attack with a flick of her tail. The clash produced a shockwave that splintered the ground beneath them. The tail, with its immense strength, shattered Hirito's cherished blade with ease.

The sound of metal breaking resonated through the forest. Hirito clenched his jaw, his heart sinking at the loss of his sword, crafted with rare materials and capable of channeling his lightning chakra.

Before he could dwell on his loss, Mito went on the offensive. Her tails lashed out, uprooting trees and smashing the ground with raw power. Boulders and debris flew at Hirito like cannonballs.

Hirito dashed between trees and leaped into the air, narrowly avoiding a barrage of massive rocks. He gritted his teeth, adrenaline coursing through his veins.

"Let's see how you handle this!" Hirito shouted, weaving hand seals.

"Lava Style: Scorching River Rock!"

From his palms, magma-like streams surged toward Mito, hissing and bubbling as they approached. Hirito followed up with a Lava Release: Rasenshuriken, the molten sphere spinning with deadly precision as it soared through the air.

Mito's tails lashed out, forming a defensive barrier. A white skeletal frame began to envelop her, signifying the beginning of her partial transformation into the Nine-Tails. Her aura grew oppressive as she roared, the force of her voice scattering Hirito's lava streams.

As the Rasenshuriken collided with the chakra barrier, the resulting explosion sent a wave of heat and light across the battlefield, reducing everything nearby to ash.

Hirito skidded to a halt, his Sharingan tracking Mito's every move. Before he could catch his breath, Mito fired a series of high-density chakra blasts.

The blasts tore through the forest, obliterating trees and creating craters in the ground. Hirito dodged, leaping between branches and zigzagging across the battlefield.

"Unlimited chakra… What a cheat!" Hirito muttered, beads of sweat forming on his brow.

He activated his Mangekyō Sharingan and used Kamui, creating space-time distortions that absorbed the incoming blasts into his personal dimension.

"Space-time ninjutsu?" Mito said, her voice laced with both surprise and respect. But her surprise quickly turned into a smirk.

"Let's see if you can handle this!"

The chakra around her condensed into a massive, swirling sphere of black and purple—a Tailed Beast Ball. Its size dwarfed Hirito, its energy crackling ominously.

With a roar, Mito fired the ball directly at Hirito.

Hirito's eyes widened as the massive attack hurtled toward him, obliterating everything in its path. He attempted to absorb it with Kamui, but the Tailed Beast Ball's sheer size made it impossible to contain.

"Too big… Damn it!" Hirito cursed.

At the last second, he activated Kamui Phase, allowing the ball to pass through his intangible body. As it sailed past, the ball struck the forest behind him, triggering an explosion that could be seen miles away.

The blast sent shockwaves through the Forest of Death, knocking over trees and throwing spectators off their perches.

"Why are we even here?!" one clan head shouted as he scrambled to safety.

"Move! Do you want to die?" another yelled, dragging an injured ally behind him.

Only a few had managed to position themselves far enough to avoid the brunt of the explosion. Hyuga Takuma, standing beside Uchiha Inahiri, was among them.

"I owe you for this," Takuma said, breathing heavily. "You were right to tell me to stand further back."

Inahiri smirked. "Remember this when the Uchiha and Hyuga negotiate next time."

Back on the battlefield, Hirito regained his form, standing on shaky legs. His Sharingan glowed with determination, but he knew he was being pushed to the limit.

Mito, fully embracing her Jinchūriki powers, loomed over him, her chakra tails swaying like vipers.

"I can't keep up like this…" Hirito thought. He knew he had to change tactics.

Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes briefly before shouting, "Susanoo!"

A massive, royal blue ethereal figure materialized around him, standing several stories tall. The Susanoo's armor gleamed under the fractured sunlight, its eyes glowing ominously.

The two giants faced off, the ground trembling beneath them.

Mito prepared another Tailed Beast Ball, its energy humming with lethal intent.

Hirito's Susanoo raised its sword, chakra crackling along its edge.

The clash that followed shook the very earth, sending shockwaves across the Forest of Death.

The spectators, though terrified, couldn't look away. This wasn't just a battle—it was history in the making.
