A massive water dragon surged towards Orochimaru with unrelenting force.
Outside the barrier, the observing ANBU, along with Orochimaru, the Sound Four, and even Hiruzen Sarutobi, were caught completely off guard.
None of them had expected this.
Orochimaru had yet to fully control Tobirama's consciousness. However, the Second Hokage of Konohagakure had already taken the initiative to attack Orochimaru on his own.
"Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!"
At the last possible moment, Orochimaru desperately summoned a defensive Earth Release jutsu to block the ferocious water dragon.
But it wasn't over. The water dragon, driven by Tobirama's immense chakra, still carried residual momentum and turned its sights back on the defenseless Orochimaru.

"Sensei? You…" Hiruzen Sarutobi was utterly bewildered by the sudden turn of events.
"Indeed. This is my creation, after all. You've taken this technique too far, young one," Tobirama said coldly, his tone cutting.
"Hiruzen, I'll handle this reckless youngster who's been abusing forbidden techniques. You deal with my brother."
Freed from Orochimaru's control, Tobirama's strength surged to nearly seventy percent of his original power. His immense chakra boiled within him, eager for release. Orochimaru would make the perfect sparring partner.
"Understood!" Hiruzen let out a sigh of relief. Although he didn't understand how his teacher had broken free, at least he no longer had to face two Hokage and Orochimaru alone.
Just moments ago, he had been ready to burn with the Will of Fire and sacrifice himself. Now, a glimmer of hope to survive reignited in his heart.
He still had a duty as Hokage—and it wasn't time to give that up just yet.
"It's an honor to face the legendary Second Hokage, someone I've admired for so long," Orochimaru said, licking his lips with a twisted smile.
He still believed the situation was under control. If even the legendary First Hokage could be subdued, surely this diminished version of the Second posed no real threat.
Tobirama glanced at the status panel that only he could see, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

He hadn't expected the Second Hokage, even in his incomplete state, to be this formidable. One casually executed Water Release jutsu had left him in such a sorry state.
Just as Orochimaru prepared to command Hashirama to abandon Hiruzen, a sharp whistling sound sliced through the air.
