Naruto: Tobirama Reborn, Invincible in the Ninja World

Chapter 110: Chapter 110: Tobirama vs. Madara (Part 2)

Senju Tobirama poured even more chakra into the Nativity of a World of Trees, vastly increasing its scale and destructive power.

In an instant, the entire area was engulfed.

Deep green vines overwhelmed the pale yellow ones, submerging Uchiha Madara entirely.

"You've really given me quite the surprise this time!"

Madara emerged from a massive gap created by the blade of his half-body blue Susanoo, his expression unusually vivid.

He had anticipated that using Hashirama's unique Wood Release in front of Tobirama would crush the man's pride.

But never in his wildest dreams did he expect this—Tobirama, whom he had always dismissed as a "Senju failure," had mastered the Wood Release as well!

Tobirama's chakra wings slowly folded behind him as he descended to the ground.

"Madara, you're an Uchiha. Stop using my brother's powers."

The lush green forest spanning thousands of meters, created by the Nativity of a World of Trees, now seemed like an arena crafted solely for their battle.

Their eyes met, sharp and unyielding.

"You think wielding the power of the Wood Release will let you defeat me?"

Madara narrowed his eyes, the long sword of his half-body Susano'o radiating a fiery intensity.

"Of course not! To defeat you, I don't need my brother's strength!"

Tobirama retorted with equal fervor, a ripple of water encircling him, adding an almost divine aura to his already formidable presence.

"You…"

Madara's patience snapped. Tobirama's incessant mentions of "my brother" lit a fire of irritation in his chest.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!"

His Susanoo, seemingly in sync with its master's fury, mirrored Madara's hand seals as it unleashed a massive fan-shaped fireball, spanning hundreds of meters wide.

The flames burned deep red, with cores so hot they glowed a golden-orange hue, their temperatures soaring into the thousands of degrees.

The scorching heat surged like a tidal wave, devouring everything in its path toward Tobirama. Even the wooden pathways created by the Nativity of a World of Trees bore the scorched mark of the flames.

Without immediate intervention, the fire could reduce human bodies to ash in mere moments.

Tobirama's expression remained composed as he made a single hand gesture. At their level, hand seals were often unnecessary—chakra control alone sufficed to summon techniques.

"Water Release: Endless Flow!"

A stream of water, smooth and flowing like blue silk, erupted from Tobirama's mouth. At its end, a roaring water dragon materialized, charging toward Madara's flames.

Water clashed with fire in an explosive collision.

Steam burst forth, blanketing the battlefield as the two forces struggled for dominance. The intense heat of the vapor alone could scald an ordinary person to death instantly.

But both combatants, resurrected through Edo Tensei, were unaffected by such extremes.

Madara frowned. Despite the clash, his Fire Release was losing ground.

Through his Sharingan, he observed the water evaporating into steam and then reforming into water, returning to reinforce Tobirama's technique.

An endlessly replenished Water Release—of course it could suppress his fire!

Was it his imagination, or had Tobirama's mastery over Water Release surpassed what it was during his lifetime?

While Madara was mulling this over, the final embers of his flames were extinguished. The water dragon roared one last time, splitting into dozens of Tobirama clones.

Each clone wielded a high-level Water Release technique: Hard Whirlpool Water Blade.

This was the pinnacle of Tobirama's technique, an S-rank Water Release that maximized chakra efficiency!

"Hummm…"

The whirlpool-like water blades in the hands of Tobirama's clones hummed sharply as they hurtled toward Madara.

Any other Kage-level ninja would have met their end against this assault.

But Madara was no ordinary ninja.

His Susanoo evolved into its second stage—a massive, ten-meter-tall humanoid. Four colossal chakra swords materialized in its hands.

The giant moved with surprising speed, cutting through the clones like a hot knife through butter.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Madara's Susanoo stood like a god of war, unyielding amidst the chaos.

Each approaching water clone was obliterated into countless droplets, which were then reabsorbed into the forest of vines created by the Nativity of a World of Trees.

Every blade of water hurled at him was sliced apart by the Susanoo's relentless assault. Its four arms swung the chakra swords in a blur of motion, leaving nothing untouched.

Amidst this destruction, Tobirama's true body blended seamlessly among his clones, indistinguishable from them.

In his hand was a water blade identical to those wielded by his doppelgangers.

Madara remained focused on annihilating clone after clone, oblivious to Tobirama's real presence creeping up behind him.

A compressed water needle emerged in Tobirama's hand. He drove it into the vines beneath their feet.

Susanoo's second stage couldn't fully envelop its user, leaving a small gap at its base.

During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Gaara had exploited this exact weakness to drag Madara out of his Susanoo.

The water needle burrowed rapidly through the ground, piercing through thick roots as it honed in on Madara.

Madara, despite his focus on the clones, had kept his Mangekyō Sharingan active to monitor the battlefield.

The faintest tremor in the ground alerted him to the incoming attack.

But the water needle moved far faster than he anticipated.

In less than a millisecond, it pierced through Madara's right foot and shot toward his head!

Madara's reaction was nothing short of extraordinary. In the instant he sensed the attack, he twisted his body, narrowly dodging the needle.

He followed up by spitting out a fireball, evaporating the projectile.

The injury to his foot was minuscule, barely visible even to the Sharingan, and Edo Tensei restored it immediately.

But this time, Madara was truly enraged.

His earlier display of anger had been a ruse to lure Tobirama into underestimating him.

But now, Tobirama had managed to strike him with such a dishonorable sneak attack!

The indignation brought back memories of his younger brother, Izuna, who had fallen to Tobirama's treachery during what they thought was a victory.

Madara's fury burned anew.
