"Ar... Arata... are you proposing to your teacher?" Nono Yakushi finally snapped out of the shock she had just received and asked stammeringly. Her eyes flashed with a strange light as she looked at the boy kneeling before her.
"Don't take it seriously." Arata didn't dare look her in the eyes after the humiliation he had just suffered. He immediately lowered his head and said, "Teacher Nono, please pretend that what you just saw never happened."
"Oh... okay, I can do that." The mature Nono blinked, her cheeks slightly red, and added with a voice that almost sounded like a whisper, "I also feel that it is still too early for you to say those things..."
"Teacher, what did you say?" Arata, who didn't hear the last sentence clearly, asked with a confused look on his face.

"Nothing… I just said that this joke was a bit too much." Pharmacist Nono came back to her senses, and the expression on her face became gentle and calm. "Who knew Arata-kun would become such a bad boy one day, teasing his teacher like this."
"Sorry." Arata did not defend himself and apologized sincerely. If he had a choice, he would not have done that.

"As a teacher, I forgive you." Nono Yakushi raised her hand and softly touched Arata's head. She turned her head toward the girls behind the boy and asked, "Why don't you introduce your two companions to me?"
"I am Uzumaki Rina, and this is my daughter, Karin." Mrs. Rina was very discerning and led her daughter forward, bowed, and said, "Sir Arata rescued us and freed us from the clutches of the people of Hidden Grass Village."
"Rina-sama, are you a member of the Uzumaki clan? Are there other orphans from the Uzumaki clan like you?" Nono's expression showed slight surprise, but she quickly realized something and changed her wording. "Sorry, sorry. This is not the place to talk. Arata-kun, Mrs. Rina, and Miss Karin, please come with me."
Everyone followed behind Nono as they made their way to the Central Plaza of the Wave Country. On their way, their group passed through a winding alley. Arata also noticed that the people around him had an attitude of respect and gratitude for his teacher, Nono Yakushi.
"It seems that Teacher Nono made the right choice by moving here from Konoha." Arata sighed in relief. He was really happy that his teacher was finally known by the people and was not forced to spy in dangerous areas.
In Konoha, Nono's life and death were practically sealed by Danzo, and she had no freedom of her own.
"I just did something trivial." Nono smiled gently as she moved. She only stopped when they arrived in front of a slightly dilapidated mansion. Pushing the door open, she entered the hall of the mansion, followed by the rest.
Arata noticed that the inside of the mansion was unexpectedly tidy compared to its outward appearance.
Although the various furnishings and appliances appeared to be old items, they were neatly arranged in a systematic order.
Arata and Nono looked at one of the photos on the shelf. The photo was of their group from the old days, with another kid in the mix. The boy was none other than Yakushi Kabuto.
The photo brought some good memories to Arata's mind, and he couldn't help but ask Nono, "Teacher, does that guy Kabuto come to see you often?"
"You have to call him Brother Kabuto." Nono reminded Arata with a smile. "How could he come to see me with Orochimaru hanging over him all the time?"
"It seems that Orochimaru is not doing well either." Arata shrugged. "Kabuto still has to be on guard every day, as he might accidentally become experimental material on that snake's bed."
Nono didn't speak, just sighed softly.
The main reason Yakushi Kabuto decided to work under Orochimaru was because of her.
She and Yakushi Kabuto almost killed each other because of Danzo's order. But fortunately, Arata arrived on time and told them everything about Danzo's intentions.
Before the two of them could rejoice at being free from the village, Orochimaru came knocking on the door. He showed his interest in Kabuto.
To protect himself and his teacher, Yakushi Kabuto had no choice but to become Orochimaru's assistant.
"I was just joking, teacher." Looking at his teacher's sad expression, Arata scratched his head and said, "That guy's brain is quite smart, so he probably won't be sliced into pieces."
"Was that all you could come up with to comfort her?" Kushina snorted coldly in Arata's mind.
"How about you, old mother, come and do it instead? Do you have anything better to say?" Arata shot back instantly.
Kushina snorted softly and opened her mouth: "Just tell her that Orochimaru is not a ruthless person. At least he will leave the boy's body whole."
"Tch tch, you are indeed the old mother I confessed to!" Arata gave her a thumbs-up in his heart and turned his eyes to the pair of mother and daughter by his side. "You two will stay with my teacher for the time being. Is there any problem?"
"Excuse me, Master Arata, this place is very comfortable and good." Rina smiled warmly at the boy.
"Will Lord Arata come to see us often?" Uzumaki Karin asked him in a low yet hopeful tone.
"Why are you calling me 'Sir'? I'm not even older than you!" Arata rolled his eyes and said helplessly, "If you don't change the way you address me, I won't come to see you often. I'll just visit my own home."
