Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

Chapter 256: Chapter 256: Gravity Space

Kirito found himself standing amidst a desolate battlefield.

After Kaguya activated her Rinne Sharingan's Amenominaka, he felt a faint fluctuation of energy before being transported into a world of biting cold and endless snow.

The howling wind bit into his skin as Kirito assessed his surroundings. For the first time, he fully grasped the terrifying nature of Kaguya's Amenominaka.

This ability to forcibly transport someone into an entirely unfamiliar dimension… it's truly overwhelming.

Though Kirito had read about the technique and its mechanics in his memories of the original events, experiencing it firsthand left him acutely aware of its potency.

Even with his Rinne Sharingan, Kirito had failed to discern the activation or mechanism of Amenominaka. The transition was seamless—leaving no trace of its activation or endpoint.

Spatial jutsu, he concluded, remained among the most unpredictable and difficult techniques to counter. Not only was Kaguya's ability overwhelming, but even Sasuke's Amenotejikara—the power to instantaneously swap positions—was a testament to the unique strength of these techniques.

Trapped in Ice

Kirito's thoughts were interrupted as he noticed his feet encased in solid ice. Breaking free with a sharp kick, he glanced in the direction of Kaguya, Naruto, and Sasuke.

The three of them had been transported into a massive frozen landscape dominated by an enormous glacier. Naruto and Sasuke were both trapped within an immense block of ice.

"Damn it! Why can't I move?!" Naruto growled, his frustration growing as he realized his surprise attack had been nullified by the sudden freezing environment.

Kaguya, in contrast, was entirely unaffected. Encased in ice yet able to move freely, she opened a small portal beside her using Yomotsu Hirasaka and stepped through.

Naruto, frozen in place, watched her leave, his mind racing for solutions.

Is this some advanced Ice Release? But it doesn't feel like any technique Kirito has used before…

As Kaguya's figure vanished, Naruto's focus shifted to Sasuke.

Sasuke lay motionless within the glacier, his chakra thoroughly drained. It was clear Kaguya had abandoned him, likely deciding he was no longer useful.

"If Sasuke stays like this, he'll freeze to death. I have to free him first!"

Despite the bitter cold and lack of air, Naruto steeled himself. He trusted Kirito to keep Kaguya occupied, leaving him free to focus on rescuing Sasuke and preparing for their counterattack.

Naruto's Truth-Seeking Orbs, previously frozen alongside him, began radiating destructive energy. Slowly, he guided several orbs toward Sasuke's location while using the rest to break the ice encasing his own body.

Kirito vs. Kaguya

Elsewhere, Kaguya emerged from her portal, her gaze immediately locking onto Kirito.

"Mother, you can fight freely here," Black Zetsu urged. "We must eliminate him quickly. The longer this drags on, the more vulnerable we become without sufficient chakra."

"I know," Kaguya replied coldly.

Floating high above Kirito, she gathered an immense amount of chakra into her hands before unleashing her attack.

"Yakusani Sora!"

Boom!

Countless massive fists, condensed from raw air pressure, rained down from the sky.

Kirito, already prepared, launched himself upward, dodging and deflecting the incoming strikes. Each fist shattered into fragments as Kirito struck them midair.

The ice below, unable to withstand the onslaught, crumbled into shards, leaving the battlefield a chaotic mess of broken crystals.

As Kirito closed the distance between them, Kaguya's face shifted to one of mild surprise.

Close Quarters Combat

Kaguya attempted to evade, but Kirito was faster. Grabbing her outstretched hand, he yanked her forward, forcing their faces close.

The red glow of Kaguya's Rinne Sharingan met the piercing blue of Kirito's.

Boom!

Kirito's fist connected with Kaguya's cheek, sending her flying backward.

"Mother!" Black Zetsu cried in alarm.

Before she could recover, Kirito pulled her back and delivered another devastating punch.

Kaguya's Counterattack

Enraged, Kaguya unleashed a surge of chakra, activating her Rinne Sharingan once more.

Buzz!

In an instant, the world shifted.

Kirito felt himself plummet as gravity intensified exponentially.

Boom!

He landed on a solid, triangular ground covered in jagged, blunt cones. The impact raised no dust, only a heavy silence.

So, this is… the Gravity Dimension.

Kirito struggled to push himself off the ground. The oppressive force weighed down his entire body, making even the smallest movement a herculean task.

This isn't just gravity… it's suppressing chakra too.

Every ounce of chakra in his body felt as though it had transformed into a lead weight. Were it not for his rigorous physical training, Kirito doubted he could move at all.

Kaguya, however, stood unsteadily, her body still partially sluggish from her resurrection.

In her hand, a gray bone spur began to form, radiating an ominous, destructive energy.

Step by step, she approached Kirito, her expression twisted into a cruel grin.
