Chapter 5: ambush and declaration of war
The journey out of the Land of Stone was supposed to be straightforward. After their hard-fought victory against the Ishigami clan's scouts, Jinx, Madara, and Izuna believed they had a brief respite. They had made their way through the rugged terrain, navigating the rocky foothills of the Land of Stone, their minds still processing the magnitude of what had just transpired.
The three brothers—powerful and resolute—felt an unsettling tension in the air, the weight of the unknown pressing down on them. They had expected retaliation, but what came next would test their limits.
The sun hung low in the sky as the trio moved through a narrow pass, flanked by steep cliffs on both sides. It was the perfect place for an ambush.
Jinx stopped suddenly, his eyes narrowing as he scanned the terrain. The air felt thick, charged, as if something was about to happen. His heightened senses tingled, the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end. His instincts screamed at him to move, but it was already too late.
"They're here." Jinx muttered, his voice low and cold.
Madara and Izuna immediately reached for their weapons, the three of them falling into a defensive formation, their backs to one another.
From the shadows of the cliffs, the first of the Ishigami ninja appeared, and soon, there were dozens of them. The air grew heavy with chakra as a group of highly skilled Ishigami operatives—each a master in a different element—emerged, their eyes glinting with murderous intent. They were ready for a fight.
The leader of the ambush stepped forward, his silhouette imposing. He was a tall, lean man, his body covered in black robes with molten veins running down his arms. His long black hair blew in the wind, and his eyes gleamed with determination.
"Ishigami Raikuro," Madara said, recognizing the leader. "You're too late. Your scouts failed."
Raikuro's lips curled into a cruel smile, and he tilted his head slightly, his molten eyes fixed on the Uchihas.
"The Uchiha are never truly out of reach, are they? But this time, you will not escape."
In an instant, the Ishigami ninja descended on them like a wave of fury.
Jinx reacted first, his body shifting as he leaped into the air, his eyes flashing. "Ice Release: Frostfang Dragon!"
A massive, serpentine dragon made of razor-sharp ice exploded from Jinx's hands, its glowing blue eyes and jagged fangs aimed directly at the oncoming enemies. The dragon weaved through the air with incredible precision, striking at the Ishigami ninja.
The Ishigami forces scattered, but one of them—a man with sharp features and a deep scar across his cheek—rose to meet the dragon. He formed a series of seals, his chakra flaring as he summoned a Lava Release: Lava Dragon to collide with Jinx's ice dragon. The two dragons clashed in midair, exploding into a wave of steam and molten rock that showered the battlefield.
Jinx landed lightly, his eyes already moving to the next target. He raised his hand and summoned a dark flame, the cold aura of his power seeping into the earth. "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!" A massive fireball erupted from his mouth, hurtling towards a group of Ishigami ninja trying to flank him.
The explosion was deafening, sending shockwaves that knocked several of the attackers off their feet. The flames spread rapidly, engulfing the surrounding area.
But as Jinx focused on his fire attack, a powerful surge of chakra hit him from behind. He whipped around, his Sharingan activated, just in time to block a barrage of sharp kunai and shuriken. The kunai, however, were laced with explosive tags, and the explosion sent Jinx flying backwards.
"Damn!" Jinx cursed under his breath, his body swiftly healing as the regenerative properties of his supernatural body kicked in.
Meanwhile, Izuna was in the midst of his own battle. His eyes flashed with fury as he faced down the Ishigami forces. A large group of ninja surrounded him, their weapons drawn. One of them—a tall woman with wild, unruly hair—charged at Izuna, her eyes glowing with the chakra of a Wind Release user.
Izuna met her charge with a grin, his eyes flashing with his Sharingan's red hue. "Wind Release: Air Bullets!" he shouted, releasing a volley of compressed air bullets that cut through the wind, striking the woman in the chest and knocking her back.
She staggered, but only for a moment. "Wind Release: Tornado Gale!" She swung her arms, and a violent windstorm erupted around her, pushing Izuna back and sending a flurry of sharp blades toward him.
Izuna twisted in mid-air, evading the attack with a display of astonishing agility. As he landed, he rushed forward with lightning speed, drawing his sword and cutting through the wind barrier. With a swift, fluid motion, he closed the distance, delivering a Crying Chidori straight to the woman's chest. The black lightning blasted through her, causing her to convulse before falling to the ground, unconscious.
As Izuna turned to face the rest of the attackers, he saw more enemies approaching—ninja who specialized in lightning and earth techniques. "This is getting interesting," he muttered, readying himself for the next wave.
Madara was in his element. His eyes burned with the intensity of battle, his Sharingan flashing as he faced the Ishigami ninja surrounding him. As the first group charged, he responded with a simple flick of his wrist.
"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!" A massive fire dragon shot forth from Madara's hands, roaring as it incinerated everything in its path. The flames engulfed a dozen Ishigami ninja, sending them flying in every direction. Their bodies were consumed by the intense heat, leaving nothing but ash behind.
But Raikuro had anticipated Madara's attack. He moved swiftly, stepping into the flames with his own lava-based technique. "Lava Release: Lava Bomb!" A giant molten orb shot out from his hands, colliding with Madara's fire dragon. The explosion shook the earth beneath them, and steam filled the air, reducing visibility to near zero.
Madara didn't flinch. His eyes locked with Raikuro's as he activated the Chidori technique in his right hand. "Chidori!" The electricity surged as Madara charged at Raikuro, aiming to pierce his heart.
Raikuro reacted quickly, his molten chakra surging as he created a shield of hardened lava to block Madara's strike. The Chidori struck the shield, causing the lava to hiss and crack, but the shield held firm.
Raikuro sneered, using his control over the lava to shape it into whips, which lashed out at Madara. Madara effortlessly dodged, his Sharingan tracking every movement. He dropped low, avoiding the molten whips, and countered with a barrage of Wind Release: Air Bullets, striking Raikuro with razor-sharp blasts of wind.
But Raikuro wasn't finished yet. He took a deep breath and bellowed, "Lava Release: Eruption!" A massive geyser of molten rock shot up from the ground, aiming directly at Madara.
Madara was forced to jump back, but the force of the eruption caused the ground to shake violently. He barely regained his footing as lava began to flow across the battlefield, threatening to consume everything in its path.
The battle raged on as Madara and Izuna clashed with the Ishigami Clan's elite fighters. However, amidst the chaos, Jinx, the third Uchiha brother, had his focus trained on a specific group of Ishigami warriors. His eyes glowed with an eerie, dark intensity—his Sharingan fully activated, revealing its powerful depths. He could feel the weight of the battle, but his mind was on a different level, analyzing every move, every shift in the air.
Jinx had been waiting for a moment like this—one where the real test of his abilities would emerge. As his brothers were engaged in battle with the front lines of the Ishigami forces, he sensed the presence of three warriors who were more than just dangerous. They were on a different level entirely, and Jinx could feel the oppressive force of their Lava Release techniques.
Suddenly, one of the Ishigami warriors, a tall, imposing man, stepped forward. His cloak was tattered from the skirmish, but he still radiated an aura of immense power. He lifted his hand, and a massive geyser of lava erupted from the ground beneath him, heading straight for Jinx.
With a flick of his wrist, Jinx formed a series of hand seals and unleashed his own power. "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!" A roaring inferno shot from his mouth, meeting the lava in mid-air. The two forces collided in a blinding explosion, sending shockwaves throughout the battlefield. The heat was unbearable, but Jinx stood firm, his body resisting the blistering temperatures. His Cold Resistance allowed him to endure the heat, though the temperature change still stung his skin.
From the smoke of the explosion, Jinx's cold, calculating voice echoed. "Is that all you've got?"
The Ishigami warrior narrowed his eyes, undeterred by the failed attack. He slammed his palms together, calling upon his Lava Release once again, but this time the ground beneath Jinx began to crack and bubble. Lava began to pour from the cracks, forming into molten projectiles that launched themselves at him with deadly precision.
Jinx's eyes glowed a deep crimson as his Sharingan activated to full power. "Fire Release: Fox Fire." Ten fireballs appeared in front of him, swirling around in a tight circle before Jinx flung his arm forward. The fireballs shot forward, intercepting the molten projectiles and consuming them in an explosive burst of flame.
But Jinx wasn't done yet. His ice-blue eyes shifted as he activated another ability, one that would deal with this opponent's relentless Lava Release. "Ice Release: Glacial Fang Spear!" He condensed moisture in the air, creating multiple sharp, jagged ice spears that shot out at high speed toward the Ishigami warrior.
The Ishigami ninja tried to counter by conjuring a wall of lava, but the ice spears pierced through the molten rock, their sharp tips cutting through like a blade through butter. The warrior staggered back as the ice struck him, freezing parts of his body and slowing his movements.
Jinx didn't give him time to recover. His cold, calculating expression twisted into a cruel smile as he summoned another technique. "Ice Release: Frozen Tundra Prison." The ground beneath the Ishigami warrior's feet froze, causing jagged ice spikes to erupt around him, trapping him in an impenetrable dome of frost.
"I'll give you one chance," Jinx said, his voice low, his breath visible in the cold air. "Surrender, and I'll let you live."
The Ishigami warrior, now frozen and immobilized, glared at Jinx with hatred. But the Uchiha's words were final—there was no mercy for those who stood in his way. With a simple flick of his hand, Jinx intensified the ice dome, crushing the warrior inside, reducing him to a pile of shattered, frozen remains.
The other two Ishigami warriors—one wielding Earth Release and the other manipulating lightning—moved in. They knew they couldn't allow Jinx to continue his rampage. The warrior using Earth Release slammed his fist into the ground, creating a massive wall of stone that surged toward Jinx. At the same time, the lightning-wielder prepared a lethal jutsu, the air crackling with the intensity of the chakra he was gathering.
Jinx's eyes flicked to the lightning-wielder first. He could feel the immense amount of energy building, and he recognized the potential for disaster. "Wind Release: Air Bullets!" Jinx called out. He thrust his hand forward, sending rapid-fire bullets of compressed air toward the lightning-wielder. The force of the wind was so powerful that it blew him off his feet, causing him to lose control of his jutsu. A bolt of lightning struck the ground harmlessly, sizzling in the distance.
But Jinx wasn't finished. With a sharp motion, he switched his focus to the stone wall the Earth Release user had created. "Ice Release: Frostfang Dragon!" The air around Jinx grew colder as he summoned a massive, serpentine ice dragon, its form coiling around him as it launched itself toward the stone wall. The dragon's icy fangs glowed with a chilling aura, and it smashed through the wall with ease, the icy shards cutting through the earth and stone like a hot knife through butter.
The Earth Release warrior tried to form a counter-defense, but he was too slow. Jinx's dragon consumed him, freezing him in place before the final blow shattered him to pieces, leaving only the icy remnants of his efforts behind.
Now, only one Ishigami warrior remained—the lightning user. He was fast, dodging and weaving through the battlefield, trying to find an opening. But Jinx's Sharingan allowed him to predict every move, every flicker of motion.
"You can't run forever," Jinx called out, his voice eerie and calm as he turned his gaze toward the remaining enemy.
The Ishigami warrior, desperate, raised his hand, and a massive surge of lightning erupted from his body, crackling through the air in an attempt to overwhelm Jinx.
"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!" Jinx roared, his hand extended as a massive dragon made entirely of fire surged forward. The two forces clashed, the lightning and the fire dragon wrestling in the air as if they were alive. Sparks flew, and the ground trembled with the intensity of the battle.
But Jinx's fire dragon, enhanced by his Sharingan and his years of experience, overpowered the lightning surge. The lightning was absorbed by the flames, and the fire dragon roared toward the Ishigami warrior, engulfing him in a blazing inferno. The battle was over.
Jinx stood amidst the scorched earth, his breathing steady despite the intensity of the battle. His eyes were cold, calculating, and filled with an eerie calmness. He wiped the blood from his cheek, a small but noticeable grin forming on his lips as he looked around at the battlefield.
"I'll take that as a victory," Jinx muttered, his eyes flicking toward the remains of the Ishigami warriors.
But as the smoke settled and the land quieted, Jinx's thoughts shifted. He knew something was off about this fight. It wasn't just a random ambush. There had to be a deeper motive behind it. And it was a motive that he wasn't ready to uncover just yet.
For now, however, Jinx was content with his victory. His brothers would know soon enough what had happened, but Jinx's mind was already on the next steps, the next battles, the next mysteries that lay ahead. And as he turned toward the distant horizon, his heart beat with an unsettling sense of anticipation. The Ishigami Clan might have been beaten for now, but there was more to this story than met the eye.
And Jinx was ready to uncover it.
As the remnants of the Ishigami Clan's elite warriors lay scattered across the battlefield, a foreboding silence descended upon the land. The distant rumble of footsteps grew louder as reinforcements from the Ishigami Clan appeared on the horizon. They came in waves, a hundred strong, each one clad in dark armor, their eyes filled with the grim resolve of warriors who had been raised to fight.
Among them, the prodigy of the Ishigami Clan, Ishigami Renga, walked at the forefront. His reputation as a battle commander was known far and wide. He was a man of relentless ambition, feared for his ferocity and his ruthless tactics. He was a master of Lava Release, Earth Release, and even an advanced form of Lava-Enhanced Taijutsu, making him a terrifying opponent.
Renga stood tall, his eyes narrowed as he surveyed the fallen bodies of his comrades. His heart burned with anger, not only at the loss but at the humiliation of being bested by the Uchiha brothers, especially Jinx.
"Don't just stand there!" Renga barked at his clan members, his voice carrying authority. "Form up and prepare to attack! We will not allow these Uchiha to leave here alive."
The Ishigami warriors immediately formed a tight circle around their leader, ready to carry out his command. They were well-trained, disciplined, and fully aware that their survival depended on their ability to strike with precision.
Jinx's crimson Sharingan gleamed in the dim light as he surveyed the approaching reinforcements. He was tired, his body drained from the intense battle he'd just fought, but his mind was still sharp. His brothers had fought valiantly, but it was clear now that the Ishigami Clan was not about to give up. They would be relentless in their pursuit, and they had a trump card—Renga, their prodigious leader.
With a deep breath, Jinx began to focus his chakra, letting the cold, dark energy pulse through his body. His hands shook slightly, but he forced them to still. He knew what he had to do. He had to take this fight to the next level. There was no room for half-measures now.
"Brothers," Jinx called out to Madara and Izuna, his voice steady despite the weight of what he was about to do. "Fall back. This is going to get... dangerous."
The two Uchiha brothers, recognizing the gravity in Jinx's tone, glanced at each other, then nodded. They knew what Jinx was capable of when he unleashed his full power. Madara gave a brief nod of acknowledgment, and Izuna hesitated for a moment, his eyes filled with concern.
Jinx didn't wait for any further orders. With a flash of his Sharingan, he began the transformation.
A chilling wind howled across the battlefield as Jinx's chakra flared. His body grew larger, his muscles rippling as his form began to shift. Black fur spread across his skin, his eyes glowing with a demonic light, and a pair of massive fox ears sprouted from his head. His hands and feet elongated into claws, and his mouth twisted into a snarl, sharp teeth gleaming.
The ground beneath him cracked as his body expanded, rising higher and higher until he stood at a towering height of 10 meters. His fox form was massive—an imposing, beastly creature of darkness and frost. A cold aura radiated off him, spreading outward in all directions, causing the air itself to grow thick with ice. The temperature in the area dropped drastically as the environment around Jinx transformed into a frozen wasteland. The wind carried the bite of winter, the trees and rocks around them starting to form a layer of ice as the very ground beneath their feet hardened into a slick, frozen surface.
The Ishigami reinforcements recoiled in shock, their breath visible in the freezing air. But Renga's eyes never wavered. He was a leader, a prodigy of his clan, and he would not be deterred by fear. His pride burned fiercely, and he gave a sharp, commanding gesture.
"Do not falter! We will crush this beast and show them the true power of the Ishigami Clan!"
Renga stepped forward, raising his hand to the sky as his chakra surged, the ground beneath him trembling with the intensity of his power. Lava began to bubble up from the earth, forming into massive columns that surrounded him. His body was surrounded by molten lava, his eyes burning with a fiery rage as he prepared to unleash his ultimate attack.
Jinx, in his transformed state, let out a guttural growl, his black-and-purple fox form towering over the warriors below. His eyes glinted with malice, the cold winds swirling around him. His dark powers were now fully unleashed. As his body rippled with energy, he released a battle cry that echoed across the battlefield, a sound that reverberated deep in the bones of every living thing in the area.
"Ice Release: Dark Cold!" Jinx's voice echoed with an unnatural, otherworldly tone. The ground beneath him shattered as tendrils of black, shadowy ice exploded outward. The ice was unlike anything the Ishigami warriors had ever seen—dark, cold, and filled with a chilling energy that seemed to sap the warmth from the very air. The frost spread rapidly, covering the ground, the trees, and the stone structures, freezing everything it touched.
As the ice spread, it began to absorb the heat from the lava columns, cooling them and causing the molten rocks to harden into brittle stone. The freezing winds howled, and the battlefield became a domain of absolute cold.
The Ishigami warriors, now facing Jinx's terrifying transformation, struggled to maintain their footing on the ice. The cold sapped their strength, and their attacks became sluggish as their bodies stiffened under the oppressive freezing air.
"Do not let this demon intimidate you!" Renga shouted, his voice hoarse from the effort. He raised his hand, summoning a massive torrent of lava that twisted into an enormous, serpentine shape. It lashed out toward Jinx's form, aiming to incinerate the beast with its fiery might.
Jinx's eyes glowed a deeper shade of crimson as he focused his chakra. "Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!" With a single roar, Jinx expelled a massive torrent of fire from his mouth, the flames spiraling toward the massive serpent of lava.
The two attacks collided in a violent explosion, sending shockwaves through the area and further solidifying the frozen battlefield around them. The air shimmered with the heat and cold clashing, but Jinx stood unwavering, his fox form towering over the battlefield as his cold aura continued to spread.
But Renga was not finished. With a growl of determination, he summoned his final attack. "Lava Release: Magma Barrage!" A storm of molten rocks rained down from above, targeting Jinx's massive form. The barrage struck him with incredible force, creating a cascade of explosions that shook the ground beneath them.
Jinx, however, remained unfazed. His Sharingan flickered with renewed energy, and he dodged and weaved through the barrage with inhuman precision. His massive fox form was agile despite its size, moving swiftly through the lava storm.
As the last of the magma fell away, Jinx's tail swiped through the air, sweeping away a swath of molten earth with ease. His eyes locked onto Renga. The Ishigami leader's eyes were filled with fury, but also desperation. He knew that the odds were stacked against him, but he would not back down.
"Your power is impressive," Renga said through clenched teeth, sweat dripping down his face. "But it will not be enough."
Jinx's smile was predatory, his voice low and chilling as he spoke. "We'll see about that."
With a mighty roar, Jinx lunged forward, his claws swiping at Renga with deadly precision. His sheer size and speed overwhelmed the Ishigami warriors, knocking them aside as they tried to block his path. Renga met Jinx's charge head-on, summoning all his chakra to create a massive shield of molten lava. The clash between the two forces was explosive, a cataclysmic collision that sent the remaining Ishigami warriors scattering in fear.
But even as the battle raged, Jinx's resolve only grew stronger. He was in his true form now—unstoppable, deadly, and full of a cold, unrelenting power that none could match. The Ishigami Clan might have been proud of their Lava Release techniques, but they would not be able to overcome Jinx's overwhelming might.
As the ice continued to spread and the battlefield darkened with the aura of his power, Jinx prepared for the final assault.
"This ends now," he muttered, his voice filled with cold finality.
As the battle between Jinx and the Ishigami reinforcements raged on, the clash of powers shook the very foundation of the battlefield. The ground beneath them cracked, molten lava seeping through the crevices, while Jinx's cold aura froze the air around him. Lava and ice collided in a chaotic symphony, but Jinx stood unwavering in his fox form, the embodiment of death and despair.
Renga, the prodigy of the Ishigami Clan, stood resolute in the face of Jinx's overwhelming power. His pride, burning brighter than the lava he commanded, kept him on his feet, even as his warriors faltered. But deep down, he knew the battle was slipping from their grasp. Jinx was not just a beast of power; he was an unstoppable force, an embodiment of darkness itself.
The Ishigami warriors around Renga, feeling the mounting pressure, tried to regroup, but the freezing winds and the oppressive darkness only made them more desperate. Their bodies trembled, the cold sapping their strength as Jinx unleashed his deadly Cold Release, further diminishing their ability to fight. Yet Renga would not retreat. He had to win.
With a roar, he summoned his final weapon: a massive torrent of lava, crashing toward Jinx like an unstoppable wave. But Jinx was already ready. He leaped into the air, his massive fox form spinning as his eyes glowed with the cold, unrelenting power of his Sharingan.
In a split second, Jinx activated his Curse Technique: Echoes of Madness. His eyes flickered as the shadows around him seemed to warp and distort. A pulse of cursed energy shot out from his body, reaching out to the minds of every Ishigami warrior in the vicinity.
The warriors froze, their eyes wide with terror as their senses were assaulted by horrific, nightmarish illusions. Renga's face twisted in horror as his comrades dropped to their knees, their hands clutching their heads in agony. The cursed technique brought forth their deepest fears, and the warriors were trapped in a hell of their own making. Their screams filled the air, a chorus of madness echoing through the battlefield.
But Jinx was not done. He was a master of not only cursed techniques but also the art of manipulating fear. As the Ishigami Clan members writhed in terror, Jinx activated his Extension Technique: Soul Convergence. The cursed energy he had absorbed from the fallen warriors was now used to fuel a new, even more powerful technique.
With a shout, Jinx focused all of his power into his mouth. He began to channel the energy of the lost souls and the terrifying fear induced by his Echoes of Madness into a concentrated form. His fox body expanded as the cursed energy spiraled around him, merging into a singular, black sphere in his mouth.
The sky above him darkened, the winds howling with unnatural force. In that moment, everything seemed to stand still. The battlefield went silent as Jinx's technique reached its peak.
"Abyssal Reckoning," Jinx intoned, his voice calm and cold, a whisper in the midst of the chaos.
The massive black sphere began to condense into a deadly, concentrated ball, reminiscent of the Tailed Beast Balls, but far darker. It swirled with the tormented souls of the dead, their screams of agony and despair trapped within its depths. The very air around it began to distort, the ground quaking under its weight.
Jinx hurled the ball forward, sending it spiraling toward Renga and the remaining Ishigami warriors. The ground trembled as the sphere moved, its destructive power sucking the very light from the surrounding area. The air turned thick with dread and darkness, as though even the heavens themselves recoiled from the attack.
Renga barely had time to react. His hand shot up, summoning a final defense—a massive wall of lava that erupted from the ground, attempting to shield the warriors. But the wall was no match for the Abyssal Reckoning. The black sphere collided with the molten barrier, and with a deafening explosion, it tore through the lava, the ground, and everything in its path.
The blast obliterated everything in its wake, the force of the explosion creating a shockwave that leveled the surrounding landscape. The sphere expanded outward, consuming everything in its path with a force so intense it seemed to bend reality itself. The remaining Ishigami warriors were engulfed in the darkness, their bodies disintegrating into nothingness as the tormenting souls within the Abyssal Reckoning snuffed out their existence.
When the explosion subsided, the battlefield was left in ruins. The mountain range in the distance had been reduced to rubble, the once fertile ground now a barren wasteland of frozen earth and scorched stone.
Only a handful of Ishigami warriors remained standing, including Renga and the prodigy, Ishigami Kurotsuchi. The others had been reduced to ash or consumed by the abyss. They were battered, their bodies broken, but they still lived. But even they could feel the weight of the curse upon them, the oppressive darkness that seemed to hang in the air.
Jinx stood amidst the devastation, his massive fox form slowly shrinking down as his chakra drained. His cold eyes scanned the survivors, and with a flick of his tail, the freezing winds shifted to a gentle breeze.
Renga, bloodied but alive, glared at Jinx, his body trembling with the last remnants of his strength. "This... isn't over," he spat, though his voice was weak. "You may have destroyed my clan, but we... will rise again."
Jinx's eyes narrowed as he looked down at Renga, the chilling wind swirling around them. "There is no 'rising again,' Renga. Your clan's legacy ends here. This battle ends now."
But before Jinx could finish, Kurotsuchi, the prodigy of the Ishigami Clan, stepped forward. Her eyes were filled with a mixture of defiance and sorrow. "We lost," she said quietly, her voice filled with an unnatural calm. "But I won't die here. I have my own path to follow."
With a single, swift motion, Kurotsuchi hurled a kunai embedded with explosive tags at Jinx. It detonated, creating a massive cloud of smoke. In that brief moment of distraction, Kurotsuchi vanished, using a substitution technique to escape into the wilderness.
Jinx let out a low growl, the sound of it reverberating through the ruins. He could sense her fleeing, but the battle was over. With only ten survivors remaining, including Renga and Kurotsuchi, Jinx turned his gaze back to the battlefield. The Ishigami Clan had been decimated, their once-proud legacy reduced to nothing.
As the dust settled, Jinx's fox form dissipated completely, and he returned to his human shape. His eyes flickered, a faint, cold smile crossing his lips. He had won. But the price had been steep.
The battlefield, now silent and broken, was all that remained of the once-great Ishigami Clan.
And with that, Jinx's victory was sealed.
