Chapter 23: The Plan (15)
"The tale begins in an unknown time, with a powerful clan that rivaled those of the Hyuga, Uchiha, and Senju. So formidable were they that simply seeing their clan symbol caused shivers down the spines of onlookers. They were known as the 'Clan born from time' and had a reputation for great achievements, devastating downfalls, and questionable actions. Despite their flaws, they were a top clan not to be underestimated. The clan owned a powerful Dojutsu called the Jikangan, an eyes granting the members of the clan abilities to control time although with some limits, although not all members could unlock the eyes, only a few could unlock them and those few who unlocked it were extremely powerful, their names causing fear to those who heard them and it was with those eyes that the clan became what it was, feared and respected.
However, their power soon became too great, inciting fear in the hearts of other clans. This ultimately led to the massacre of the Senjikan Clan. Though they were strong and renowned with tpeople who could control time, they could not withstand the continuous attacks from multiple clans. Some members were able to escape and live among civilians, but even this could not protect them from the wrath of the major clans and Daimyos. As a result, the clan dwindled and was eventually forgotten, their resources and justus ravaged by the hungry and greedy clans."The woman says with a sad face the fire flickering in the background adding to the somber mood
As Akiko listened intently, eager to learn more about the clan and its current state, she suddenly had a nagging feeling that something was amiss. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but her instincts were telling her that something was not quite right. It was then that she noticed her body starting to fade away, bit by bit.
Panicked, Akiko looked down and saw that her body was gradually disappearing before her eyes. Shock and confusion washed over her as she tried to make sense of what was happening. Before she could even utter a word, the woman spoke up with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"It seems that your time here is coming to an end," the woman said, her eyes filled with regret and sadness as she watched Akiko's fading form.
"Take this as a gift and an apology for not being there for you" With a gentle touch, the woman covered Akiko's eyes with her palm before removing it, revealing a startling change. Akiko's once normal dark blue pupils had transformed into a mesmerizing light blue color, with clock hands embedded within them. Each hand pointed to the top, signifying the 12 or 0 points. the clock hands were present in both of her pupils.
Before Akiko could even process the situation, her body began to transform into tiny gold particles, leaving her in a state of shock and confusion. The woman seeing this transformation couldn't help but shed tears, knowing that this was her only chance to speak with Akiko.
"It must have been tough for you, Harimi Senjikan," a powerful and wise voice spoke out to the woman, who turned to see who it was.
Standing before her was a tall, pale-skinned man with a commanding presence. His face was lined with deep wrinkles, and he had a strong jawline. His spiky, shoulder-length hair was a pale brown color, with a braided lock hanging in front of his left ear. He also had a goatee that tapered down to his waist. On his forehead were two horn-like protrusions, and his eyes were pupilless and white. In the center of his forehead, there was a red Rinnegan-like marking. This man was known as Hagoromo Otsutsuki, also known as the Sage of Six Paths.
"Thank you, Sage of Six Paths, for bringing my daughter's soul here," Harimi said as she stood up and bowed politely in front of him.
"There's no need for that. Your clan has suffered far too much, and I thought I could offer some help," Hagoromo replied, bringing Harimi up from her bowing position.
"Your daughter is in a safe and nurturing environment, where she can learn to use and control her powers. As the last living member of the Senjikan clan, she has the potential to bring your clan back to glory," Hagoromo continued, his words carrying great weight and hope.
As Hagoromo faded back into the oblivion, Harimi walked towards the light, ready to join her deceased clan members. She knew that her daughter was in good hands and that she could finally rest peacefully, knowing that her clan's legacy might live on through Akiko.
As she stepped into the blinding white light, a sense of wonder and awe overtook her. Before her eyes lay a breathtaking landscape, a magnificent forest with vibrant green trees and an array of colorful flowers in full bloom. Delicate butterflies fluttered around, their graceful movements adding to the serene atmosphere. The harmonious coexistence of various animals added to the idyllic scene, a true paradise unlike anything she had ever seen.
This paradise was a stark contrast to the dark and desolate place she had been trapped in for the past 10 years. The contrast was so stark that she couldn't help but be overwhelmed with emotion. Just as she was taking in the beauty surrounding her, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching from behind. Turning around, she was met with the sight of a burly man with short blue hair and a rough beard adorning his face.
In a split second, she threw herself onto the man, her tears flowing like a raging river. With trembling hands, she held onto him tightly, afraid that he would vanish into thin air.
"Shh, my dear daughter. You have been so strong. It's time to find peace and release yourself from this heavy weight," the man consoled, gently stroking her head and bringing her solace, freedom and joy.
