Naruto: Tenseigan Eye

Chapter 526: Chapter 526

The puppets blocked the charge of the White Zetsu army.

They surged into the enemy ranks and exploded, disrupting the White Zetsu's formation.

The rest was simple—harvesting.

If the coalition ninjas couldn't even handle the cleanup, they had no business being ninjas. The coalition would have no reason to exist and might as well disband on the spot.

"Is this the puppet of Hyuga Shinki?"

Watching the puppets in action on the battlefield, Uchiha Madara's interest was piqued.

"Impressive. Strong physical capabilities, durable bodies, far superior to White Zetsu. They even coordinate well and self-destruct upon being destroyed or dismembered."

Damn it!

Black Zetsu cursed internally but maintained a calm demeanor.

"Madara, only Hyuga Shinki possesses such puppets in the entire ninja world. Based on our intelligence, these puppets appeared after he contracted the blood illness, at which point he gained the Tenseigan and made significant contributions during the war between Konoha and the Sand Village."

"Because they're puppets, they can be stored in sealing scrolls. Hyuga Shinki once airdropped these puppets into the Sand Village camp, launching an attack so devastating that it forced the Sand Village into submission."

"Sand Village, Rock Village, Cloud Village, and Mist Village later united for the Five Kage Talks, specifically to address the threat of these puppets."

It wasn't narrow-mindedness; the other villages understood the terrifying potential of Shinki's puppets. A simple airdrop could throw an entire camp into chaos.

"A fascinating ability," Uchiha Madara said after a moment of silence.

Though intriguing, Madara didn't consider it a significant threat. Shinki's puppets might instill fear in the ninja villages, but they were of little consequence to someone of Madara's caliber.

So what if they were fearless?

So what if they self-destructed after death?

So what if they attacked in unison?

Against ordinary forces, they could annihilate thousands, but against someone like Madara, they were inconsequential. His interest stemmed purely from novelty.

"If I were younger, I might have taken more notice. But now... it's enough to acknowledge their ingenuity."

"It seems the war is nearing its climax," Madara remarked, standing up from the rock he had been seated on for days. Folding his arms, he gazed at the battlefield below.

The deployment of Shinki's puppet army signaled the coalition's overwhelming advantage.

Charging, breaking formations, self-detonating, and clearing the way for coalition forces—there was no way for the White Zetsu to hold their ground. Unless they could create a viable imitation of Wood Release, akin to Senju Hashirama's techniques, the White Zetsu had no hope of turning the tide.

Without a solution, their overwhelming numbers meant nothing. It was only a matter of time before the coalition eradicated them.

The destruction of the White Zetsu army signaled the approach of the war's final phase.

"Any progress on improving the Impure World Reincarnation Technique?" Madara asked as he continued observing.

Black Zetsu fell silent.

Progress? The time had been too short to make significant advancements. Black Zetsu wasn't a prodigy in ninjutsu development. Simply achieving this stage had been a monumental effort; refining or perfecting the technique was beyond reach.

Seeing the silence, Madara realized his question had been misplaced. He let the matter drop.

Although dissatisfied with his current body, it was far better than what he had started with. At the very least, it allowed him to exert considerable strength.

On the battlefield, the coalition's offensive was relentless. With Shinki's puppets leading the charge, the White Zetsu army was being swept away. Despite their bravery and willingness to sacrifice themselves, they couldn't withstand such an onslaught.

As the bodies of White Zetsu piled up, the war that would reshape the ninja world was nearing its conclusion.

Only a handful of White Zetsu remained on the battlefield in the Taki Kingdom, leaving the coalition to clean up the remnants.

The attention of the Five Kage and Shinki shifted toward Uchiha Madara.

"Shinki, did you lose many puppets?"

Although some White Zetsu still remained, the war was effectively over for the Five Great Ninja Villages.

"The losses were significant, but we've been stockpiling materials over the years. Without those efforts, this battle would have been far more difficult," Shinki replied.

The White Zetsu army had been almost entirely wiped out, and Shinki's puppets had been heavily depleted. It was thanks to years of preparation that the coalition managed to achieve such a decisive victory.

If the situation had been different, Shinki might have been forced to join the battlefield himself.

Throughout the war, while Tsunade commanded from the center, the other four Kage fought on the frontlines. Only Shinki seemed to wander idly, seemingly unconcerned.

But none of the Kage questioned his behavior.

Though it appeared leisurely, Shinki's role was crucial—he was a safeguard against the possibility of Uchiha Madara launching a surprise attack.

Theoretically, Madara's pride and arrogance made such an attack unlikely. But Shinki preferred to be cautious, unwilling to gamble on Madara's sense of honor.

As it turned out, his precautions weren't needed. Madara remained motionless on the mountaintop, like a towering stone, only rising after the puppet army entered the fray.

"We'll jointly compensate you for your losses once this is over," Onoki said generously.

The deployment of Shinki's puppets had been a game-changer, significantly reducing coalition casualties. Without them, countless ninjas might have perished in the battle against the White Zetsu army.

Onoki, the Third Raikage, and the Third Kazekage had already discussed how to repay Shinki for his contributions.

As for Yagura... he had been ignored yet again.

Shinki suspected that Mist Village's relations with the other villages—particularly Rock and Cloud—would deteriorate after the war.

"It's a small matter—just materials," Shinki replied dismissively.

He waved off the concern, adding, "What's most important now is Uchiha Madara. He's the strongest opponent we'll face."

Compared to puppet supplies, Madara's threat loomed far larger.

The Third Raikage nodded grimly. "Against someone like Uchiha Madara, sheer numbers won't matter. My suggestion is that we, the Five Kage, cooperate with Shinki directly in battle."
