Naruto: Starting with Tsunade-san

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The Classmate

Konohagakure, Year Seventeen.

Ninja Academy, First Grade - Class A.

It was the first day of school.

Tōshirō, five years old, was lying on the desk yawning, appearing as if he wanted to sleep. However, under his heavy eyelids, he was deeply gazing at the girl sitting near the podium.

"That girl, I will marry her in the future."

He stroked his chin with his fingers as he made this decision internally.

Although it seemed surprising.

I think there needs to be some clarification.

This is not an early romantic relationship; it is for the family.

"I have introduced myself now, it's your turn. Who wants to start?"

The teacher, who appeared to be in his thirties, said while looking around.

The students exchanged glances, unsure of what to do.

They had no other choice, as they were all strangers to each other and naturally felt embarrassed to introduce themselves and discuss their dreams in front of everyone.

Perhaps for this reason, the teacher, who was waiting in vain, decided to break the ice and choose one of them.

At this moment, a soft voice like silver bells sounded.

"Teacher, I'll start."

As soon as this voice was heard, all eyes in the class focused on the girl with the voice, who had brown eyes, golden hair, and a round face like a full moon, with a very attractive appearance.

The teacher showed a grateful expression, thinking to himself, "No wonder she is the granddaughter of that man."

The girl slowly walked to the podium under everyone's gaze and introduced herself, "My name is Tsunade, and my dream is to become Hokage like my grandfather and protect the village."

This sentence carried great significance. Some students understood this and started whispering.

"Does that mean the Hokage is..."

One of the students couldn't resist asking.

Tsunade answered proudly and without hesitation, "Yes, the First Hokage is my grandfather."

Upon hearing this, the class exploded in astonishment, as the First Hokage was considered the God of Shinobi who brought peace to the world.

After returning to her seat, Tsunade quickly received a warm welcome as a princess.

"Tsunade's dream is wonderful; we should learn from her."

The teacher raised his voice to calm the excited students.

After Tsunade broke the ice, other students began to feel encouraged and stepped forward to introduce themselves. The teacher started from Tsunade's seat and called on the students one by one.

After several turns, it was Tōshirō's turn to step up and introduce himself.

"My name is Uchiha Tōshirō, and my dream is simple: to live a plant-like life."

When the students heard this sentence, they looked puzzled.

What does it mean to live a plant-like life?

The teacher thought for a moment, then smiled gently, "That's a beautiful dream, to work silently like plants, then grow to become a massive tree that shades others, somewhat like the Will of Fire."

"Oh, not exactly." Tōshirō waved his hand, "What I mean is that plants do nothing, just bask in the sun and can live for several hundred years. This simple life is what I aspire to."

The response came like a whirlwind, the teacher was stunned, not knowing what to say.

The class was even more silent, silent as death.

After a few moments, the class burst into laughter.

In short, this seemed like giving up.

If the students admired Tsunade's dream, they mocked Tōshirō's dream.

"Tōshirō, that can't be considered a dream."

Now, the teacher doubted that Tōshirō's Uchiha family name might be fake.

In memory, Uchiha children were often reclusive but ambitious; how could such an eccentric person appear, it seemed he had given up from the beginning.

Tōshirō opened his wide eyes and looked at the teacher, asking, "Isn't not needing to work a great dream?"

How can that be a great dream?

Such a dream that requires no effort, seems very comfortable?

The teacher was about to object, but he realized that some people struggle just to survive, and by comparison, Aokiji's dream seemed very tempting.

After all, to achieve that, one must be extremely wealthy, to live a carefree life.

"Tōshirō, you may return to your seat."

Tōshirō silently returned to his seat.

What he had just said was not mere words, but an introduction to his future surrender.

Although his school life was carefree, the outside world was at war.

He did not want to be too prominent and be sent to war, to become fuel for the Tree of Konoha.

Additionally, the Uchiha family was known for their aggressive nature, Tōshirō chose to surrender to create the impression that he was harmless, to reduce others' vigilance, with the aim of seizing the position of Hokage in the future.

Of course, Tōshirō as a small child could not have such deep intentions, but because he was a "transmigrant" orphan.

He didn't want to become Hokage out of great ambition, but because after the war, the leaders in Konoha would start to eliminate competitors, and being from the Uchiha, he would certainly be affected.

To avoid this, the best solution was for an Uchiha to become Hokage.

As for the other family members, Tōshirō could not rely on them.

They were all too honest, originally planning a rebellion, but they did not hesitate to disclose their intentions at every opportunity.

Therefore, he had to act himself.

Usually, transmigrants have a special ability called "golden cheat," but unfortunately, he had nothing except a name that matches a famous character.

However, it was not completely useless, as his late mother possessed ice techniques.

In other words, Tōshirō held the potential to combine two inherited techniques.

When a person awakens to inheritance techniques, the chakra increases rapidly, and if stimulated by strong emotions, the chakra may rise significantly.

For example, in the original story, when the child Haku witnessed his mother's murder by his father, he lost control of his power and killed everyone in the house.

Additionally, being an Uchiha, his chakra was much larger than usual.

In the original story, when Kakashi first saw Sasuke, he was amazed at his ability to perform the fireball technique at age 12, while in reality, he had been able to use it since age 6.

With this potential, even without awakening the Sharingan, Tōshirō's chakra could reach a high level.

Do not underestimate the chakra level; it is among the best in the world.

Kakashi, who is often mocked for his lack of chakra, actually had a considerable amount of chakra, but he was surrounded by characters with superior abilities.

Having two inherited techniques, he does not need a "golden cheat."

He himself is a "golden cheat."

However, one should not be too optimistic, as combining two inherited techniques might not be easy.

Few possess these two techniques together, except through techniques and technology, and perhaps the woman wearing fishnet stockings is the only example.

The chance of obtaining two inherited techniques is extremely low, so it is not surprising that they are very rare.

After Tōshirō's introduction, another classmate stepped forward to introduce himself.

Tōshirō rested his chin on his hand as he watched the clean-faced boy wearing a kimono.

His name was Orochimaru, and if he wasn't mistaken, he was the renowned scientist from the original story.

And perhaps because the attraction between handsome characters is mutual, Orochimaru looked at him with curiosity after introducing himself.

The two exchanged quick glances, showing mutual curiosity, before each turned away.

Was that look the beginning of a friendship, or was it the beginning of a future confrontation?

He glanced sideways at a small blonde girl.

The Uchiha clan has really suffered from bad luck for generations. As one of the main founders of Konoha Village, during the Ninja Wars, there wasn't a single time when the Uchiha clan wasn't on the front lines, sacrificing tears and blood with collective strength. Isn't it fair that they have a role in leading the world?

However, when the election for the Fourth Hokage took place, not only did none of them get elected, but no one was even nominated. This was a blatant insult.

After the death of the Fourth Hokage, the old Third Hokage didn't just cling to his position under the pretext of responsibility, but he also exploited the chaos of the Nine-Tails attack to relocate the Uchiha clan away from the village's power center, which was tantamount to indirect suppression.

Don't say it was all Danzo's fault; who knows if he and the Third Hokage were in on it together.

That's how leaders can be sometimes...

This is what led young Itachi Uchiha to fall into their deceptive trap.

The leaders of Konoha nearly stopped considering the Uchiha as human.

It's only natural that the Uchiha would think about rebelling and demanding fair treatment.

From here, Tōshirō realized that the key to the Uchiha's nomination for Hokage was not strength or fame, but political identity.

Look at the real world across the ocean; don't you need to enhance your status first...

And this is why Tōshirō became interested in Tsunade.

When the forces of Senju and Uchiha unite, you can achieve greatness...

This is the correct understanding of the inscriptions passed down through the Uchiha clan for generations.

You misunderstood, my ancestor Madara."
