Naruto: Starting with Dual Rinnegan, Konan Falls in Love with Me

Upon receiving Gu Xingxi's report about the Sand Village's sudden attack on the camp, the Third Hokage of Konoha was furious, particularly because his close friend, Danzo Shimura, had been seriously injured, losing an eye and an arm.

The Third Hokage immediately called a meeting, informing everyone about the attack on the camp and outlining his plan: "Tsunade, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, immediately lead a medical team to support the camp. Bring back Gu Xingxi, Danzo Shimura, and all injured ninjas to Konoha. Orochimaru, you will take over Danzo's position as the main commander on the Rain Village battlefield."

Tsunade responded, "Old man, you don't expect me to treat Danzo, do you? You know very well how he commanded the front lines."

The Third Hokage replied, "But Danzo sacrificed his eye and arm to protect the injured ninjas. That alone proves he is a hero of Konoha."

Tsunade bluntly countered, "Basically, it was his command error that led to deploying all combat-capable individuals away from the camp, resulting in the near-total annihilation of our medical ninjas and injured. He's hardly a hero; he's just trying to cover up his mistakes."

The Third Hokage insisted, "Danzo is still an elder. Just treat him, Tsunade."

Tsunade agreed reluctantly, "Just this once, and no more. I'm off to prepare the medical ninjas." She then left.

Two hours later, a medical team led by the Three Sannin and Dan Kato, consisting of medical ninjas and upper and middle-ranked ninjas, headed swiftly towards the Rain Village battlefield. They arrived at the camp by sunset, beginning treatment for the injured.

Tsunade approached Nishimiya, saying, "You've done well. Let us take over from here."

Nishimiya quickly gestured, "No problem, master. This is what I should be doing."

Tsunade smiled, "Don't be too modest. Your sweat betrays your effort." She then went to treat Danzo Shimura.

Meanwhile, Jiraiya and Orochimaru visited Gu Xingxi's tent to check on the severely wounded Minato and Tobirama Senju.

Jiraiya lamented, "Oh dear, Minato, how did you get so badly injured? It's my fault for not protecting you better. But don't be discouraged. I've obtained the Flying Thunder God Technique from the old man for you. Once you return to the village with the injured tomorrow, you can start training. You like fast techniques, right? This one is perfect for you."

Minato, though frustrated, thanked his teacher, "Thank you, sensei. I got injured while rescuing my comrades."

Orochimaru turned to Tobirama, "Why are Minato's injuries so severe while you only have superficial wounds?"

Jiraiya, puzzled, asked, "Tobirama, don't tell me it's because you nearly killed yourself in that last draw, so now you avoid anything dangerous?"

Tobirama replied, "Hey, don't slander me, sensei. Minato was heavily injured because he was already wounded and yet tried to save many medical ninjas. In the end, when we were escaping, I stayed behind to cover their retreat. Just before I was severely injured, Gu Xingxi came back. Ask him if you don't believe me."

Gu Xingxi nodded, affirming Tobirama's words.

Orochimaru informed, "The old man intends for you to lead the injured ninjas back to the village tomorrow."

Gu Xingxi asked, "Am I leading alone? What about Danzo?"

Orochimaru answered, "He'll return with you. I'll take over as the main commander on the battlefield."

Just as Orochimaru finished speaking, Tsunade and Nishimiya entered the tent.

Tsunade announced, "Danzo can't move anymore; the poison has reached his brain stem. If I don't watch him, he could die at any moment."

Gu Xingxi remarked, "It's better to leave him here then, so I don't have to look after him."

Tsunade added, "Take Tobirama back with you tomorrow. I don't feel safe leaving him here."

Tobirama protested, "Why, sister?"

Tsunade, annoyed, smacked him, "Have you forgotten you almost died a few days ago? Just go back quietly and don't cause more trouble."

Tobirama resignedly accepted.

Gu Xingxi agreed, "Fine, but I'm taking Nishimiya with me. The Sand

Village knows she's important to me. It's too dangerous to leave her here."

Tsunade nodded, "I understand. Get ready; you're the only one leading them back tomorrow. The rest will stay here as there are too many injured."

Gu Xingxi acknowledged, "Understood."
