As if in slow motion, a long white flash streaked through the air.

"Whoosh!"

The sharp sound of something slicing through the air fell silent as—

"Thud!"

Blood sprayed from the chest of an attacking Iwa-nin, painting the air red, as his body crumpled backward.

His wide eyes reflected disbelief, frozen in that expression even as his heart ceased to beat.

"Plop!"

His lifeless body hit the ground, while his stunned comrades trembled, rooted in place. Their pupils constricted in fear, their minds racing.

What... what was that!?

From a distance, White Zetsu's eyes also narrowed, filled with shock.

That flash... was it from his blade?

His gaze instinctively fell to Gin's weapon. a short, unassuming blade. The realization left him visibly shaken.

"Ah, it seems my aim hasn't dulled after all," Gin said with a soft, eerie chuckle.

Standing calmly in the clearing, Gin glanced nonchalantly at the massive boulder that had been aimed at him, a faint smirk curving his lips.

"So this is what you call ninjutsu? How utterly unimpressive," he remarked with disdain.

As his words fell, he casually raised his arm, slicing the air with his blade.

"Shing!"

In an instant, a long white arc appeared, only to vanish just as quickly.

"Crack!"

The massive boulder, poised to crush him, split cleanly in two mid-air before crumbling to the ground, stirring a cloud of dust.

Amid the swirling dust, Gin emerged with his silver hair shining brightly. He held his Zanpakutō, Shinso, as if it were a mere toy, his posture relaxed but unnervingly confident.

His narrow eyes glinted dangerously as he surveyed the remaining Iwa-nin. With a voice like a serpent's hiss, he spoke.

"I'm not like those other guys. I'll give you all a chance—come at me together. Who knows? If you're lucky, you might actually kill me."

Then, with a chilling smile, he added, "But, as payment for challenging me, I'll leave you all in pieces. I'm nothing if not fair."

His words sent a shiver through the already fearful Iwa-nin. However, after exchanging glances and steeling themselves, they resolved to attack him together.

Even so, a sliver of fear lingered in their hearts as they thought of the unknown power Gin had displayed earlier.

In the next instant, they sprang into action!

"Whoosh!" "Whoosh!" "Whoosh!"

From the shadows of the forest, a dozen figures leaped out, moving at incredible speed, converging on Gin.

Gin's lips curled into a sinister smile as he muttered under his breath, "What brave little creatures you are. Is this what Captain meant by 'ninjas'? Even knowing it's suicide, you charge ahead without fear..."

"But it's so foolish."

With those chilling words, Gin shifted his grip on Shinso, holding it in front of him with one hand on the hilt and the other steadying the blade. His eyes gleamed coldly.

"Dance of the Slaying Blade, Shinso!"

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Countless white flashes erupted from Gin's blade, each appearing like an illusion yet tearing through the air with a deafening roar.

The Iwa-nin barely had time to react.

"Slash!" "Slash!" "Slash!"

One after another, blood sprayed as the white flashes pierced their chests. Their bodies collapsed to the ground like lifeless puppets, unable to withstand the brutal assault.

It was a massacre.

The battlefield was cloaked in an eerie silence as Gin methodically eliminated his enemies. A faint, white glow zipped back and forth between Gin and the falling Iwa-nin, too fast for the naked eye to follow, mercilessly harvesting lives.

From a distance, Zetsu stood frozen, his voice trembling as he muttered, "This... this is Gin's power?"

Aizen stepped forward beside him, his expression calm, a faint smile playing on his lips as he gazed at the scene of carnage.

"With Gin, what you've seen is far from the extent of his strength," he said, his voice rich with quiet confidence.

Zetsu's eyes widened as he turned to Aizen, exclaiming, "Lord Aizen, you mean this isn't even his full power!?"

Aizen chuckled softly, glancing at Zetsu.

"Not even close. Gin is much stronger than you imagine. That's precisely why I chose him."

Zetsu lowered his head, ashamed at his earlier doubts, overwhelmed by a sense of powerlessness.

Standing at Aizen's side, he couldn't help but feel he was the weakest among them.

Sensing Zetsu's self-doubt, Aizen's smile deepened. Looking out at the battlefield, he spoke again, his voice as smooth as silk.

"Zetsu, there's no need to feel inferior. One day, you'll possess power that rivals Gin's."

Zetsu froze momentarily, raising his head. Although Aizen had said similar things before, Zetsu still couldn't help but doubt himself.

"Lord Aizen… I…"

Aizen waved his hand dismissively, his tone soft yet firm.

"I've told you before, Zetsu—never doubt your potential. Your existence is unique, and because of that, you are even more valuable to me than Gin."

Hearing Aizen's words, Zetsu's face lit up with a faint expression of excitement.

"Lord Aizen, I won't disappoint your expectations!"

At that moment, Gin strolled over from the distance, his foxlike grin firmly in place, though he was grumbling to himself.

"Captain, Zetsu, wasn't it a bit too cruel to leave me alone with that bunch? That's no way to treat someone new to this world, is it?"

Aizen looked at him calmly and said.

"You did well, Gin. You must have grown familiar with the power of this world by now."

Gin clenched his fist experimentally, his sly smile widening slightly. Looking at Aizen, he narrowed his eyes and said with a light laugh.

"I have to admit, this body's chakra reserves are quite impressive. However, it's a shame that I can't perform my Bankai at the moment."

His eyes gleamed with a mischievous glint as he added with a sly smile.

"Of course, Captain, I trust this has nothing to do with you."

Aizen maintained his serene smile as he replied softly.

"There's no need to probe, Gin. I've experienced your Bankai before. Once I'm certain you've fully adapted to this world, I'll have the Hogyoku lift its restraints on you."

Gin's eyes flickered momentarily, though his eerie smile remained.

"Ara, so it really is you. But since it's your order, of course, I'll obey without question. After all, I am yours to command."

Aizen's smile deepened slightly as he replied.

"As long as you understand, Gin."
