Naruto: Senmei Asahi

"Hu…" 

As soon as Minato left, everyone got relaxed. For the whole day while rushing here they were nervously avoiding patrols teams of Sunagakure. Everyone was tired. Although the time was short, there was still at least two hours of rest time. 

"Let's take a break. I'll go out and help you for the look out, we need to be alert about any sand patrol team passing by and exposing our whereabouts," Asahi told everyone. 

"Asahi, aren't you tired?" Shinohara asked weakly. 

"He has appoint. We have to go out and execute our missions in a while, take a break." Keita also said.

"I'm fine. You guys can take a rest." Asahi shrugged, saying with a smile, "My physical strength has always been good." 

"All right then. Thank you, Asahi." Keita said apologetically. 

Asahi patted Keita, and said, "It's all right!" 

"Let me go with you." Just at this time, Kakashi said suddenly. 

Asahi turned to look at Kakashi upon hearing this, but unfortunately, Kakashi wore a mask that only revealed his pair of dead lazy eyes. Asahi couldn't see his thoughts from his expression. 

"Well, let's go." Asahi nodded. 

Getting out of the sand hole, Asahi wandered around four places, but found that Kakashi always appeared around him intentionally or unintentionally. He didn't know if it was something that Kakashi decided or noticed, or did Minato secretly ordered him... 

Thinking of this, Asahi walked towards the dunes on the side, which were high enough to temporarily block Kakashi's sight. 

[Shadow Clone Jutsu] 

He created a shadow clone to get out of the dunes to a place where Kakashi could see him, and Asahi himself used the [Transformation Jutsu] to turn into a sand pile and temporarily hide in there.

He was confident that with his level of accomplishment in chakra control, among the current team, only Minato and Keita would be able to discover that the one that Kakashi is following is nothing more than a shadow clone. 

As for Kakashi, Asahi never underestimated him actually. But he just stared at him from a distance, so Kakashi had absolutely no chance to find out that the one in front of him was a shadow clone. 

After he left, Asahi lifted the [Transformation Jutsu], and took out the letter with the plan that Orochimaru had given to him, he opened the seal to read it carefully. 

There wasn't much content in the letter, just asking Asahi to give the scroll to a guy named Fujita in Sunagakure. 

At ten o'clock at night, Fujita would be waiting for him in a place ten miles west of Sunagkure. He just needed to give him the scroll, and there is no need to say anything in the process. 

In the letter, he didn't mention anything at all about Fujita's identity, but there was a picture of him, a middle-aged ninja of around 37 years old, with a long scar crossing his face. 

Closing the letter, Asahi put it away and stored it in a small bag on a little compartment on his chest pocket.

It stands to reason that after reading the letter, Asahi should destroy it immediately. 

But he was afraid that this was a trap that Orochimaru had set for him, leaving this letter. If someone discovered him this time, he could also use this letter to prove Orochimaru's involvement, saying that everything was directed by the commander, and he was just completing a mission. 

'That's it!' 

After reading the content of the letter, he carefully recalled everything that happened since he saw Orochimaru last night and see if there were any doubts or anything that his words might have revealed. 

Asahi hated this feeling of knowing nothing, it just made him feel like he might die at any time. 

First of all, Minato must have noticed something, because even Kakashi was suspecting him, Asahi couldn't really believe Minato, a Jonin, would not notice anything. 

And counting the time, when Minato left, it was around 7:40 pm, and their operation time was two hours later, at 9:40, and he also had the mission to attract the sand patrol teams for one hour. There was absolutely enough time to complete this mission.

'But is it a coincidence?'

'It's impossible for Orochimaru to know Minato's action plan and timing in advance, so it's impossible that this whole thing is just a plan from the village, right? Or maybe Minato also knows this plan?'

But if Minato knew about the plan, why would Orochimaru avoid everyone and give the letter to him in secret?

About half an hour later, Asahi's shadow clone re-entered the dune again. After avoiding Kakashi's gaze, Asahi released the shadow clone, and his main body stepped out of the other side of the dune and continued to act normal in front of Kakashi. 

Near 9:40 pm, Asahi greeted Kakashi, and the two walked back to the sand cave together. 

"Get up! The mission is going to begin!"

Asahi shouted.

"It's too soon!" Shinohara screamed dissatisfied. 

"Hey! You don't even need to go with us to execute the tasks. I haven't complained yet. What rights do you have to complain about?" Obito said lightly with a snort. 

"You..." Maybe because he saw the Uchiha clan emblem on Obito. Shinohara just glared at him, but said nothing. 

"Shut up!" Asahi looked at Obito and Shinohara before speaking to Keita, "Keita, let's go first." 

"Understood!" Keita answered. 

"Tsk!" Obito saw them leave, and immediately complained loudly, "If he didn't run fast, I will beat him fiercely."

Out of the sand cave, Keita looked at him, and asked, "Asahi, what do we do?" 

He analyzed, "Since two hours have passed already, Captain Minato should have already sneaked into the center of Sunagakure. I think the reason he wants us to create chaos at the entrance of the village, is to give him enough opportunities for his actions. But this is the mission that Kakashi is in charge of; our mission is to attract the patrol teams and not allow them to surround them." 

Having said that, Asahi looked at the direction of Sunagkure, and then continued: "Now we just need to find a group of sand patrol squad and kill them." 

"Okay!" Keita solemnly nodded, this mission was going to be a bit difficult.
