Seeing Izumi's Sharingan with two tomoe, Kazuki nearly spit out his tea.
You've got to be kidding me. You're only ten years old, just graduated from the Ninja Academy!
Even the clan's genius, Uchiha Itachi, only had a double tomoe Sharingan at this age. And now... an unnoticed little girl also has a double tomoe!
Indeed, talent is something that can't be envied.
Kazuki felt a bit disheartened for a moment.
He did have a cheat, but without it?
"In terms of using the Sharingan, the clan has summarized years of experience and left us some valuable lessons. Those proficient in genjutsu can start with genjutsu, while some who are more interested in taijutsu develop their Sharingan for detection and dynamic observation. Additionally, there's the combination of genjutsu and kenjutsu..."
Genjutsu? Izumi wasn't very keen on it. Her genjutsu was mediocre. To outsiders, it might be decent, but within the Uchiha clan, it seemed very ordinary.
She was good at taijutsu, but her kenjutsu was average, a bit unbalanced.
"I've read your graduation report. Compared to genjutsu and kenjutsu, you're better at taijutsu, but this is not right. Your imbalance is severe.
Among the strong Uchiha, few have such severe weaknesses."
Kazuki wasn't exaggerating. Among Jonin, Uchiha Jonin are generally more well-rounded and have fewer shortcomings compared to ordinary Jonin.
And their strength is genuinely formidable.
If those genius ninjas were divided, Uchiha Jonin would undoubtedly be at the top within the five great ninja villages.
Under normal circumstances, an enemy Jonin encountering a Uchiha Jonin would usually end up being pursued and beaten.
"You may not be interested in genjutsu, but you must learn to use it flexibly. As an Uchiha, not being good at genjutsu is laughable.
As for kenjutsu, you also need to strengthen your learning, because Uchiha's rarely have significant weaknesses."
"..."
Izumi felt like she was back at the Ninja Academy, and Kazuki had turned into a school teacher.
Except the lecture content shifted from basics to more challenging and advanced knowledge, mostly about the Sharingan.
Kazuki even threw in some relatively easy-to-learn genjutsu, teaching Izumi hand-in-hand.
So... after finally enduring till after dinner, Izumi returned home exhausted.
In the Ninja Academy, she was a little prodigy, but with Kazuki as her teacher, Izumi felt like an idiot, being scolded by Kazuki the entire day.
"Are you a pig? You can't learn such simple genjutsu? Are you really from the Uchiha clan?"
"Uchiha Izumi, where's your brain? Where did your brain go? You can't remember such simple things. Why don't you use your Sharingan? Do you want me to dig it out and throw it away?"
Usually gentle, Kazuki turned into a tyrant once he became a teacher.
He scolded Izumi so fiercely that her head buzzed, making her doubt if she was really a pig.
She couldn't learn such simple things, truly idiotic.
"Were there many tasks today?"
Seeing her daughter so exhausted, her mother Hazuki worried she couldn't bear it.
"No..."
Izumi forced a smile at her mother, "The captain felt much better today, so he specifically helped me set up a training plan and taught me how to properly use the Sharingan."
"Really?"
Hazuki's eyes lit up with joy, "That's great. I knew Kazuki was a good kid, always thinking about the clan. Even bedridden, he still teaches you."
Hazuki was very touched.
Izumi wanted to roll her eyes. 'Bedridden? The captain was more energetic than I was, especially when calling me a stupid pig.'
"Izumi."
Gently stroking her daughter's face, Hazuki advised her earnestly, "You and I returned to the clan halfway. Many in the clan don't recognize us, and no one paid attention to your education. So, you must seize this rare opportunity, understand?"
If another clan member had such talent, they would have been taken for special training long ago, taught individually by the clan's Jonin.
But Izumi had nothing.
She didn't enjoy these clan benefits.
"Mom, I'll work hard and learn from the captain."
Izumi's eyes reddened, and she hugged her mother tightly, adding in her heart:
Even if the captain calls me a pig, even if learning is tough, I won't give up easily.
I'll study hard, no matter how hard or tiring it is, even if I'm scolded every day like a pig.
Just when Kazuki thought Izumi couldn't bear it, the little girl nearly revived the next day, humming a tune and looking cheerful when she arrived.
Unfortunately, her good mood didn't last long.
When the learning officially started, Kazuki's roars arrived as expected.
Though scolded harshly, Izumi learned quickly. She wasn't as monstrous as Itachi, but she was the fastest learner Kazuki had ever seen, even better than himself.
For this, Kazuki could only say, talent is indeed capricious.
Fortunately, no matter how strong the talent, it couldn't beat cheats.
As Kazuki took his paid sick leave, the clan and the police department also calmed down. However, the news of Kazuki's severe illness continued to spread. Many clan members wanting to visit Kazuki were blocked by Fugaku.
At a bounty office on the border of the Land of Fire, a disguised Uchiha Kaze kicked open the office door and strode in.
Despite the door being broken, the bounty office staff didn't mind, wearing a smile as they approached and asked:
"Excuse me, are you here to claim a bounty or post a mission?"
Kaze, disguised as a sinister scar-faced man, looked at the staff coldly.
"Selling information."
Good!
Though the main business of the bounty office was posting bounties, buying information was also a favorite business, and selling information was more profitable.
Because it could be sold to many factions.
Unlike bounty missions, where the reward goes to whoever claims the target, and the bounty office only takes a small commission.
Kaze sneered, grabbing the staff by the neck:
"Regarding crucial intelligence about Konoha among the five great ninja villages, are you in charge?"
