Naruto: Satoru Uchiha

Chapter 160: Chapter 160

Uchiha Itachi didn't rush to leave.

After all, the Uchiha clan's land wasn't a place anyone could enter or exit at will.

In other words, he simply couldn't leave.

At this moment, Uchiha Itachi looked down at the layers of hemp rope tied around him and fell into a deep silence.

Is this really necessary?

"Isn't this rope too thin, second brother?"

"Do you want another one?"

In the room, Sasuke Uchiha asked seriously, holding a pile of tools in his hands.

"It's fine!"

"Hemp rope is just a formality."

"Even without it, he still can't leave the Uchiha Clan," Satoru replied vaguely, holding a three-colored ball. His pale blue eyes narrowed slightly.

Uchiha Itachi let out a helpless sigh when he heard this.

So that's how it is.

But why do they have to tie him up like this?

Itachi's gaze shifted to Satoru, who was standing nearby.

"Satoru, I didn't expect you to be so reliable," he said. "You've already grown quite a bit."

While Uchiha Itachi was being held captive, Sasuke shared some shocking details about the Uchiha clan with him.

Itachi was truly stunned.

It turned out that so many things had been set in motion without him realizing it.

Though Sasuke wasn't fully aware, Itachi could keenly sense the minutiae of everything.

He hadn't expected Satoru to have been involved in so much over the years.

Planning, tempting, decision-making, searching for clan land, covert migration, infrastructure construction...

Any one of these things would have been incredibly difficult to accomplish.

But Satoru had done it alone for so long...

Though Shisui had joined later, the path wasn't solitary anymore.

But in those early years, when no one knew, Satoru had carried so much on his own.

Thinking about this, Uchiha Itachi's gaze grew even more complicated.

He always thought he had made the right choice.

He had been so confident in his decisions.

The path had been painful and dark, but he had believed it was the best outcome.

At that time, he had no other choice but to abandon all the worse options and choose the best one available.

But now, he hadn't expected that someone could find a path that had never been seen before.

It turns out that things don't have to be multiple-choice; they can be self-created.

Itachi's eyes grew more complicated as he looked at Satoru.

The lazy boy sitting by the window now seemed strange and powerful in his eyes.

He hadn't expected someone like this to possess such strength and determination.

Itachi was deeply shocked by this.

It wasn't just his physical strength that amazed him.

It was the spiritual charm, the infectious personality.

Physical power fades with time, but spirit endures. It remains in the heart forever.

Itachi's eyes gradually darkened.

In that moment, he suddenly realized his arrogance.

What's the "best option"?

It was simply self-deception.

He had convinced himself that everything was under his control, that what he was doing was the right thing.

Out of fear of failure, he deceived himself into thinking he couldn't fail.

And in doing so, he tricked himself with lies and lost his ability to trust others.

In the end, he lost his companions and their support.

Itachi thought silently.

By now, he had figured out who had saved him when he was facing the masked man.

There was no doubt.

It was Satoru Uchiha.

To think that he had this kind of power back then...

What an astonishment!

His younger brother was truly remarkable.

A small smile curled at the corner of Uchiha Itachi's mouth as he looked at Wu Satoru.

The mysterious figure of the past now seemed to merge with Satoru's current form.

He truly was something special.

Meanwhile, the boy by the window looked at Uchiha Itachi, who stood opposite him, and lazily picked up the three-colored pill in his hand.

"Of course," he said vaguely. "Needless to say."

"..."

They talked for a long time, well into the night, until the day faded and night fell.

The Other Side.

At the Akatsuki organization base, the atmosphere was tense and oppressive, a stark contrast to the peaceful Uchiha clan land.

The members of the Red Cloud and the Black-robed Akatsuki Organization all looked at their leader, Payne.

"We're now halfway through the plan," Payne said calmly. "It's time to move on to the second phase."

His plan was divided into three stages.

The first stage involved money.

The second stage was to use this money as capital to establish the first mercenary organization in the ninja world.

They would take all the war commissions at a low price, controlling the war market.

Then, by using the Tailed Beasts, they could wage a war that would fit the market's size.

This way, they would monopolize all the wars.

The third stage was world conquest and the creation of peace.

Of course, a key part of the second phase was declaring war on the five major ninja villages to gain the right to speak.

And that's what they were going to do next.

"Declare war on the Five Ninja Nations!" Deidara spoke quickly, understanding exactly what was coming next.
