Chapter 158: Chapter 158
At this time, Satoru placed his hands together and spoke in a serious tone.
"Summoning: Edo tensei."
Edo tensei?
Hearing this, a hint of surprise flashed across Uchiha Itachi's face. So this was the technique he had in mind? No wonder he brought a coffin!
But how could Satoru use such a technique? It was known to be dangerous, requiring human sacrifice. Moreover, what could he possibly want to do with this jutsu?
Uchiha Itachi couldn't make sense of it. He thought, I shouldn't need him to use Edo tensei on me, right? If he wanted to kill me, he would have done so already, without any resistance from me.
Itachi's mind was full of confusion, but before he could piece together his thoughts, Satoru continued.
"Anti-coffin technique!"
With a loud clatter, the lid of the coffin fell away, revealing the empty inside.
What's going on?
Itachi stared at the coffin, puzzled. But before he could react, Satoru walked over with a shovel in hand.
"You're...?" Itachi started, but was interrupted as Satoru began to hit him on the head with the shovel.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Each blow sent a wave of dizziness through Itachi's head. He felt confused, What's going on? Is he really trying to smash me with a shovel? Itachi couldn't fathom what was happening. How could a ninja die from such injuries?
Satoru chuckled casually. "You should be dizzy now, right?"
Perfect! "Successfully captured a reincarnated Itachi!" he added triumphantly.
With that, he tossed Itachi into the coffin and closed the lid, securing him inside.
Inside the black coffin, Itachi gritted his teeth. How could a ninja faint like that? he thought. This guy isn't really going to bring me back like this, is he?
Suddenly, he felt a deep sense of unease. The humiliation of being treated like this washed over him, and his calm expression began to crack. No… I can't go back like this!
A wry smile tugged at Itachi's lips as he resigned himself to the situation. This was a humiliating defeat, and yet there was nothing he could do.
Satoru, with the coffin on his back, began his journey to the Uchiha clan's land. He moved quickly through the crowds, his fame making it difficult to go unnoticed.
As he passed by, the Uchiha clan members called out in surprise. "Satoru-sama is back?"
"Satoru's back! Big brother!"
"Why is he carrying a coffin? Is it part of his training?"
"Didn't expect to see him today…"
Satoru, trying to avoid the growing crowd, expertly used his body technique to slip past them and make his way home.
Inside the coffin, Itachi could hear the sounds of life around him. The voices of the people in the village felt different now — happy, peaceful, full of warmth. It was so different from the fear and anxiety that had once gripped the Uchiha clan.
Satoru finally arrived at the house.
"Satoru-sama, what's with the coffin?" Uchiha Shisui asked, glancing at the strange sight.
Satoru grinned. "Oh, this? It's our Uchiha's 'Snow White Itachi'!"
He paused before adding, "A perfect, coma-like state in the coffin, just like Snow White!"
Uchiha Shisui blinked in confusion. "Snow White Itachi?"
Satoru just nodded, clearly pleased with his description. Itachi, on the other hand, was growing increasingly frustrated with the situation.
When Uchiha Shisui realized what was in the coffin, his face went pale. "Itachi? What did you do?" He froze, his mind racing. He had heard rumors about Itachi's fate, but this was something else. "Wait, you didn't actually…"
Shisui's words trailed off as he processed the situation. His mind flooded with confusion, regret, and self-blame. He had entrusted Itachi with the mission of protecting the Uchiha clan, and yet now, this was the outcome. He couldn't shake the guilt.
Satoru, seemingly unaware of Shisui's growing panic, casually set the coffin down.
"Isn't this what you wanted? You said last time you wanted Itachi back. Well, I brought him back just as you asked."
Shisui's eyes widened in panic. "What do you mean 'I asked'? I didn't…!"
Satoru cut him off with a mischievous grin. "Oh, you've forgotten? The last time we drank together, you said it would be great if Itachi were here."
He then added, "You cried, holding the coffin like this, all emotional."
Shisui's face turned even redder, but he quickly covered Satoru's mouth to stop him from saying more. His heart raced. This is a disaster!
"Enough! Stop it! You can't tell anyone about this!" Shisui was panicking now, gesturing frantically. He quickly mouthed, "Let's keep this between us. Please!"
Satoru, however, simply smiled. "Of course, but you owe me now. A deal's a deal. You said ten times the usual payment, remember?"
Shisui sighed deeply. Ten times… he thought. This guy's robbing me blind while the fire's still burning!
But looking at the coffin, he realized he had no choice. "Fine," Shisui muttered. "Thirty times, if that's what you want. Just don't let Itachi find out."
Satoru grinned. "That's the spirit. Thirty times sounds good!"
Shisui closed his eyes in defeat. He had agreed to this deal, but the price was steep. Itachi's return might be more complicated than he had ever imagined.
